Toscana Hotel in Figline Valdarno

A true gem! Rooms are on the small side but absolutely comfortable and tasteful. Newly renovated with quality materials. The bathroom was spotless, a very nice size, shower with both oversized and handheld shower heads. Climate control was great: so quiet you could not hear the AC was on! Rooms are quiet and matress so comfortble that I overslept and missed breakfast! However, they insisted on offering me some coffee or juice. Very nice staff. Free parking on premises. Will definitely be back if I am in the area.

We stayed here and used the Toscana as “home base” for an educational conference trip for one week and found the accommodations to be more than pleasant! The staff was friendly, attentive, helpful, and very kind. The chef worked with a variety of different food preferences from gluten-free too vegetarian and did a very good job keeping the large group of 30 well fed and very satisfied.
There is a generous breakfast buffet that has several hours of operation.

The hotel offers bar service as well as coffee service available on demand, there is always someone at reception desk who acts not only as Reception but concierge. Very convenient for a such an affordable hotel!

The location is convenient for walking into the city center, is right next-door to a Catholic church, and across the street from a Washateria where one can keep their clothes clean while traveling on a long trip!

There is ample parking on the property for those travelers that are coming in their own cars. Each room has an air conditioning unit so each guest can be comfortable at their own temperature. And beautiful big windows that whole allow for fresh air flow or complete and total darkness with the room darkening shades provided.
I highly recommend the Toscano hotel and restaurant.

I ate in this restaurant because I was sleeping in the hotel and I was very happy. Clean and well organized with tables divided between them in compliance with Covid rules but also to allow easy access for waiters. Simple menu but with many appetizing dishes. Perhaps the service was a little slow, which was also noticed the next morning at breakfast time. Off the menu at the restaurant there is also a good proposal for meat.

Toscana Hotel is a short train ride from Florence, but a world away. A short walk brings you to the very charming center of Figline Vadarno, where there are restaurants, wine bars, a fantastic craft beer bar, and a gelateria with amazing treats. The rooms are a little tight, but you did t come to Tuscany to sit in your room. The hotel itself is modern and very clean. The English speaking staff is very friendly and attentive.

Modern, clean, comfortable hotel, great place to stay. Restaurant was closed unfortunately (week of ferragosto from aug 15) but theres a great pizzeria/restaurant within walking distance (ponta rossa i think)
