Best pool and sea swimming ever.

Magnificent place to stay on Ischia. We had a great time on the island thanks to the kind, competent and motivated staff who took their time to point out the best places to visit (really felt like having a concierge). Tasty local dishes and a round up breakfast buffet combined with a private hotel sea area - we really enjoyed this place a lot.

The pool facilities are simply stunning, but the basic rooms leave a lot to be desired. See picture of door that must have been punched by a previous guest. The walls are paper thin, and the mattress was poor. But the water is hot, great pressure and the air con works really well. We were on honeymoon, when we mentioned it, instead of offering us even a cocktail as a congratulations, they tried...

Ok hotel. Nothing fancy but convenient location for a short stay. Walking distance to the ferry terminal.

Beautiful place to stay at. 15min from the center and five min from the port. Clean water and rich breakfast! (not the best coffee/cappuccino and a poor tea selection) The bathtubs where cold, 22-24 degrees. View from our room with see view

Nice hotel of middle category situated cca 20 min of walk from Forio centre. Friendly stuff, simple air conditioned rooms with balcony, indoor thermal pool. They are very flexible with food - with Half board we could everyday choose if we come for lunch or for dinner. Very close to sea, but majority of beach is with paid umbrellas/sunbeds (only cca 30m of beach is public).

Little things didn't work in the room - shower had low pressure, toilet didn't flush properly, a/c was not too cold but the staff was very nice and always helpful, treating guests like a family.

Small cozy rooms and nice facilities with friendly staff. Limited choice for breakfast and dinner and rooms could be better maintained.

Having been to Ischia 3 times, this is easily the best hotel we've stayed in, despite feeling very affectionate towards the other two. I've been 4 days. The structure is a bit dated. The two new managers are very nice, we have had more contact with the boy who is a very kind and helpful person. The cleaning staff is also attentive to the needs of those who stay. The morning waiter polite and kind. They should improve by offering more choice at breakfast.

Fairytale stay !!! What about everything perfect from the kitchen to the services. The strong point is its staff, exceptional guys make you feel at home from the very first moment. Cleanliness of the rooms for 10, the location is strategic both for the sea and for the historic center of Forio and they also offer a shuttle service. Courtesy availability the guest feels at home with a breathtaking view from the terrace the clean and comfortable rooms! But the most important thing is that the staff and a courtesy out of the ordinary! Excellent and plentiful breakfast! Book directly in the structure!

The structure is run by a very kind lady and her daughter Salome'. The environment is neat and clean. We relaxed a lot especially in the thermal pool at 35 degrees. We also tasted the excellent cuisine. We would like to return.

We spent 8 nights at Hotel Ideal. It was one of the best holidays we've ever been on. Paola and the staff took care of every detail. The hotel is spotless, beautifully appointed and has the most lovely garden. The pool and mineral spring are perfect. The food and service superb! Serenity at it's best!

Had a room with a balcony overlooked the beach and ocean which was very nice. Hotel is in a great location, about 15 minute walk with luggage from the ferry port and well marked with signage to make it easy to find. Also is located around a number of good restaurants and bars and shops and you get access to the beach. Staff was friendly and breakfast was solid.

Really nice place with kind staff, a great selection of fruit for breakfast along with cheeses, meats, breads, and eggs. Literally 3 steps from the beach. It is about 16 minutes walk from the ferry landing, minutes from a whole bunch of shops, cafes, and restaurants, and 20 min from the castle. Excellent hotel with helpful and charismatic staff. The hotel is really close to the beach and about 5 mins away from the main street. They serve a really varied breakfast with fresh fruit. Amazing place. Clean rooms and the hotel generally, available sea views, bathroom in amazing conditions+those tiny shampoos, soaps, toothbrushes,... Small fridge and wardrobe. Hotel has 24/7 swimming pool (not with thermal water tho ) and jacuzzi, parking spots, restaurant and pretty garden. The staff is very friendly and helpful, so is the owner and receptionist. The FOOD ! Definitely worth it...

So far so good, here for business. Just had a long swim at the thermal pool. Hot water and relaxing atmosphere. There's a wee sauna too... Maybe later. The hotel is quite clean and there's everything you need. Receptionist is smily and tells you everything you need to know about the place. No need to ask. There's a restaurant as well, not the best but it's ok. Great place to stay. Good value for money...

What can I say about this place!! Everyone here is amazing!!!! We stayed here for a night when we got married at city hall. The staff was more then amazing. So accommodating!!Te location is perfect. The shared restrooms and shower were. It a problem, they keep it clean. It feels like your at home! And yes the beds are comfortable!! Don't waste your money on over priced hotels in the area.

I recommend this hotel very much. It's a very comfortable place and a good value. Beds very comfortable spa very nice and everything is in good working order. Possibly just renovated. Restaurant was good enough, nothing amazing, but i enjoyed the night i ate dinner. 30 euros for dinner and no drinks might be expensive in most of Italy but Ischia seems to have expensive food everywhere

We went 2 hours in the spa. Had it almost for ourselves. There is a smaller spa-area with several pools, sauna and a larger outdoor pool. The Turkish steam bath and waterfall bath did not work. But got a nice discount.

Overall … incredibly friendly and helpful staff; a very clean and lovely hotel with a great pool area as well as spas and wellness centre. Will return! Recommended!!!

Very nice hotel, with good pools. It’s centrally located, with plenty of restaurants and shops all around. The personnel is very kind—All of them. Whatever need you might have, even during the night shift, you’ll find someone ready to help.
