Nothing but good things to say about the pool, beach, and thermal spas, as well as the deep tissue massage offered. We had a beach front room and watched the sunset every night and it was a dream

The hotel is pretty nice, the food is very good. Being an island in the Mediterranean sea I was expecting a little better looking beach. The crowd end of June, beginning of July was mostly older folks

Wonderful place, the hotel rooms are mixed with gardens which makes the stay very relaxing! Everyone was kind and helpful, breakfast mostly sweets, definitely take half board, the dinners were extraordinary! Forio is 30mins walk

Situated over the sea, the private beach, the pools and common areas with magnificent views and the fantastic garden that surrounds the entire complex are exceptional

The laundry took 2 days and almost a third day as we got it back late the second day (and we had to pack that night), they said no mention of the extra $35 euro fee (for around 4 tee shirts, 1 pants, 1 shorts, and some underwear and socks) and than when we received our clothes back my shorts were an entire different color, we both hate complaining and dreaded doing so and when we went to inform them...

The staff were amazing and very professional and kind. The hotel spa had a thermal heated pool and a sauna. In addition to this there was a terrace pool (unheated) The hotel decor was beautiful and very welcoming

There is a pool and mineral bath (and spa) on-site and access to a private beach across the street. Breakfast was served in the dining room with a huge choice of food. The hotel is bright with very pretty decor

Our third time staying here and we are always pleased. The staff are wonderful and the rooms perfect. There are plenty of facilities to use, including a thermal pool, day spa and private beach

They quickly got to know us and would have our room key just as we returned to the hotel each day, without having to recite our room number. Our room had a huge outdoor patio overlooking the sea, with chairs and a sunbed

The hotel has lovely common area furnishings and is in a great location, right across the street from the beach. My friend and I made use of the sister hotel Hotel Miramare e Castello for lunch, beach and spa

We had a room overlooking the water and a private patio which was beautiful! We cross the street to the sister hotel and took a dip in the thermal bath. The water was very nice but not as hot as I was expecting

Had a massage in a spa which was fine. Breakfast buffet both mornings was wonderful! Huge spread of foods from savory to sweet, fresh juices, prosecco, coffee to order

They arranged a scooter for us for 35 Euros for 24 hours, suggested restaurants, booked the spa for me via phone. Welcome bottle of prosecco and sweets was very kind

However, as I said before, the experience was positive, the room clean and daily change of towels. The beautiful location, overlooking the harbour. And then the island is magic!!!

We stayed a week at this hotel and we had a great time, from every point of view! The room was equipped with everything you need and had an amazing sea view! The common areas, both internal and external, were large and varied, very pleasant both during the day and in the evening

Meals were served in a large common room, where you easily made friends with the neighbors! A special and heartfelt thanks goes to Maitre Paolo D'Orio: he managed the room in an impeccable, professional and empathetic way, despite being around 300 people

Stylish interior, nice and comfortable rooms, perfect service, delicious quisine, outside swimming pool with warm thermal water! I stayed at this tree with my partner and after various experiences I can confidently say that it is one of the most beautiful on the island! We went 2 hours in the spa. Had it almost for ourselves. There is a smaller spa-area with several pools, sauna and a larger outdoor pool. The Turkish steam bath and waterfall bath did not work. But got a nice discount.

Restaurant was good enough, nothing amazing, but i enjoyed the night i ate dinner. 30 euros for dinner and no drinks might be expensive in most of Italy but Ischia seems to have expensive food everywhere

Near the port, (where to arrive and leave with your own car) in the main street, the shopping of restaurants, the evening stroll, the boutiques, and buses if you want to move by these means

Great value for money - the spa and the location are big pluses. The rooms aren't the best but for the price they're alright, hotel was clean and staff was friendly, would come again

I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel that is more efficient at daily housekeeping than Hotel Terme Oriente. Close to the beach and some of the best restaurants on the island of Ischia

The pool is very nice, I just recommend adding a few sunbeds. We had lunch once at the hotel and we were very happy. The price, considered all this, is really very very affordable. Leave something to be desired

A welcome break Spent a night here to get away.from the heat and noise of naples, and this was such a pleasant stay. Super clean, lovely greenery, quiet, air conditioning, good cffee on the morning..everything we needed.

Magnificent place to stay on Ischia. We had a great time on the island thanks to the kind, competent and motivated staff who took their time to point out the best places to visit (really felt like having a concierge)

Very nice location! I recommend to book with half-pension as the atmosphere in the evening in the restaurant is simply stunning and the food tasty! Ischia is a nice spot, however well-known to be expensive (just as most places in southern italy nowadays)

They are very flexible with food - with Half board we could everyday choose if we come for lunch or for dinner. Very close to sea, but majority of beach is with paid umbrellas/sunbeds (only cca 30m of beach is public)

Nice hotel of middle category situated cca 20 min of walk from Forio centre. Friendly stuff, simple air conditioned rooms with balcony, indoor thermal pool

Little things didn't work in the room - shower had low pressure, toilet didn't flush properly, a/c was not too cold but the staff was very nice and always helpful, treating guests like a family.

There is also a small but lovely beach at 3 minutes walking from the hotel. The hotel hosts were the best, they had plenty of suggestions for food and activities

I've traveled extensively in Italy, and I find that the hospitality on Ischia is unmatched in quality. Hotel Sant'Angelo was no exception! We met Giuseppe and Sanni, the father and son proprietors of the hotel

Each night, Giuseppe baked delicious homemade treats for the morning. We enjoyed a cake made with chocolate and Ischian citrus (one with orange, one with lemon) as well as a delicious Nutella + jam crostata

The hotel offers a hearty breakfast of fruit and pastries baked by Nonno himself (he deserves a medal for his various crostatas). We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would certainly return in a heartbeat

Another highlight was the breakfast, prepared by the owner’s father. The freshly baked crostata was to die for! They were very welcoming and kind, I would happily come here again!

I was happy we stayed here, as it is close enough to the city centre, but also super close to the bus stop, which allows you to explore the island easily

I returned again this year and I found improvements starting from the kitchen !, well renovated restaurant, abundant and tasty dishes with continuous surprises during the week with aperitifs and music

Cleanliness of the rooms for 10, the location is strategic both for the sea and for the historic center of Forio and they also offer a shuttle service. In short, everything perfect to definitely go back

Among the staff there was one who was very unpleasant, I had booked a room with a terrace or balcony I found myself in a hole with a very small window, as a positive instead there was some nice and helpful staff then the food even if repeated was good, in the room there was air conditioning, the room was disinfected every day, but only on the floor and towels

I have heard people at the reception complaining about absurd things and with the same assumptions I assure that 90% of the negative reviews you read are absurd, so don't trust too much

For the value for money there is no better on the island. Beautiful, clean and comfortable room. Full board with really good and satisfying meals. Nice and quiet staff, great location

I have read too many unfairly negative reviews for this I wanted to review and recommend everyone to stay in this hotel giving top marks

In conclusion, the 5 stars are the highest rating to urge everyone to come, highly recommended!

There were positive and negative things, negative that the fridge didn't work, and we couldn't use it, the food was always the same in a week, we found cockroaches, they didn't change the sheets

Large swimming pool surrounded by a garden of flowers, citrus and palm trees. In the center but away from the noise and above all a stone's throw from the beach

The last day (unfortunately for us !!!) we were in the enchanting wellness center, where between a herbal tea and a whirlpool, with the background of sweet music, we were able to totally relax before returning home

I stayed at the Hotel Imperial is that Villa Paradiso, two structures due to the same management and placed at the center of Ischia and close to the sea

The Hotel Villa Paradiso is a charming, completely renovated Liberty Villa with all comforts. Large garden with citrus scent where the pool is located

It is a simple and familiar hotel in the center 3 minutes walk from the Castle and the wonderful ancient village: the crystal clear sea is 20 meters from the rooms

The are several pools to choose from located throughout the resort and we found ourselves rotating between these daily. We were served drinks poolside from the staff who were extremely polite and professional

The beds are comfortable and towels are changed on a daily basis. We also had a little outdoor space to sit in as well as a hanging rack for wet swimsuits etc

Some people criticised the fact that there's a long walk down to the beach, but for those who don't want to do this, booking a free shuttle at reception is very easy. We walked down, but got a shuttle back up

The beach? Definitely no problem there as a private shuttle is provided by the hotel

The food we had was served from the Il Tufo restaurant which itself requires it's own review. The beef was cooked to absolute perfection, tender and melted in the mouth, swordfish pasta, incredible

The daily menu is displayed at the restaurant entrance and there are several options for each course, the portions are extremely generous and the staff ensured we did not go hungry during our stay

We stayed for 5 nights and had such a wonderful time. All the staff were so lovely and helpful. The location is perfect - just a minute away from the main street in Lacco Ameno, with lots of restaurants nearby

The bus stop is right outside which is very convenient. The snack bar is really good as well for when you fancy something quick and simple for lunch. Would certainly love to come back again!

I spent 4 nights there in a business trip and I had a big double room with garden view. Super clean and had every day clean towels and the bed was made every single time. I had only breakfasts during my stay
