Hotels with pool in Ischia Town

Positives: *Bathrooms are TINY but clean and well appointed. *No outdoor pool as advertised, but you can use the one at their sister hotel a few steps away

We really enjoyed spending time with them — Geraldo was exceptionally helpful, offering great recommendations and helping us get the lay of the land. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Miramare e Castello is in a stunning location right on the water, with truly breathtaking views! The area is perfect — close to fantastic restaurants and great shopping

The hotel bar was such a fun spot, and Bar Manager Geraldo and pianist Pepe made us feel completely at home

I wouldn’t say this hotel is 5 stars worthy, most likely 3, 4 on a good day. It’s overpriced for what you get. I expect a 5 star hotel for over $300/night to be almost perfect. Pros: location, friendly staff, clean

Staff was very kind and helpful, they offered us a bigger room after seeing how tiny our room and beds were. Also gave complimentary prosecco and a slice of cake for my mom’s birthday

Great hotel, room was basic but large and airy, we stepped outside and had sun loungers right next to the thermal pool. Think we had a basic standard room but was good. Only had a couple of meals but were delicious

This hotel is lovely ,all the staff are hardworking,helpful and polite. The grounds and pool areas are beautiful ,it is like an oasis away from the busy road

The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained. It’s true that the majority of guests are seniors, with a few families here and there. This wasn’t an issue for me or my two teenage children

However, tables were not cleared or set, and you often had to search for cutlery etc. The hotel itself was clean, as was the pool area. the spa facilities were lovely and relaxing

The best staff, best thermal water, best service (van service to the city center and beaches), and a good location near the center.

Our room was at the front of the hotel, and we had lovely views over the hills. a good-sized balcony to watch the lightning over the hills

others have commented that the entertainment can be loud, but we did not find this to be the case

This magnificent hotel is on a cliffhanger where you get breathtaking views over the sea having access directly into the sea just just stepping off and on a ladder and a choice of two pools very individual to one another

Such as a transfer/shuttle was available and a shortcut/path down to ischia harbor, short time slot for lunch (1 hour and 15 minutes), towels costs 5 euros, etc

Hotel is beautiful, its facing the sea , rooms are really clean, drinks are great and selection is good, the one thing that truly makes this hotel is the service, truly remarkable and of you have been to italy before its sometimes good or terribly bad! HERE ITS AMAZING, 5 star all the way Linda sei una grande! truly made our trip incredible! Grazie and we will be back!

The staff were all very friendly and professional. We really enjoyed breakfast it was delicious and again breakfast with a sea view is just a great start to the day We had a beautiful room and were very comfortable

Additionally, the hotel restaurant and reception and all remaining staff are excellent qualified friendly welcoming in a 100/100 scale. And we have already booked for our upcoming 2026 summer holidays

The pools are amazing they all vary in temperatures. You must wear a swim cap to get inside the pools. Pools are open daily from 9am to 7pm. Something worth mentioning is the uphill walks

I loved the place! It’s really romantic if you feel comfortable with older people around. Great thermals, food & staff!

We were able to bring our dog with us pretty much everywhere. Even when we were laying out by the pools. You also get assigned pool chairs for the duration of your stay so you will always have your chair and an umbrella

The rooms were a little outdated, for example the curtains and bedspread, but nothing essential. Our bathroom door would not open all the way because of the sink, but you could close the door, not too much of a big deal

You get an assigned dinner table and you just show up everyday between 7:40pm and 8:30pm. The food was decent you get a starter, a first course, second course and a dessert. The resort itself has a very nice appeal

Depending on your room location and if you decide to go into town, but they do offer a transportation service that takes you to town and back to the hotel during certain times

Without a doubt, the Hotel San Giovanni in Ischia is an oasis of welcome and comfort. Its strategic location makes it perfect for exploring the island, while its welcoming atmosphere makes you immediately feel at home

The thermal pool is very enjoyable, the rooms are spacious and have a small terrace; moreover, despite being very close to the main street, it enjoys tranquility

The cleaning staff in the morning is very noisy but impeccable in the hygiene of the rooms. At the reception they have always been very kind and ready to satisfy every request

Nicola, the night porter, always welcomes you with a warm smile and does everything to make your stay unforgettable. The masseuse is really talented and pampers you with regenerating and relaxing treatments

Hotel pools were full of mold and hard water build up, water was cloudy. No towels for pool or spa, bring your own. Long walk to their beach area

Nice and clean, good atmosphere. More for elder persons, swimming pools are nice and clean and so is the sauna. The food is ok, not great- Italy is known for the coffee, this one is not good

Rooms are great, outdoor pools as well, breakfast could be with more varieties. There is no scrambled egg, but you can boil yourself, that seems somehow odd to expect from four star hotel

Thermal pools required a $5 per person taxi ride to reach, but well worth it. Room was clean, except for water glasses which appeared soiled with hair inside one glass

If there was one thing I could change it would be grouping smokers vs non smokers into separate areas of the restaurants as some people are not considerate enough to blow their smoke in a different direction

The beautiful garden, or park, contains a vegetable garden, fruit trees, vines, lots of lush and well-kept vegetation, two small lakes with turtles, a few cats, a small amphitheater and of course an indoor spa with fitness and two pools, a heated outdoor pool, a cave bar, a pool bar, a reading room, the main restaurant and another vegetarian restaurant (which was closed during our visit but we didn...

This would also set a higher standard for reducing covid infections as you will not have people Inhaling and exhaling very deeply as this seems to be a threat to mitigate an airborne virus in crowded spaces

We found both restaurants on-site to have great food and found a new red wine in our top 10 list (Blu Onice). Housekeeping was flexible and great and anything you needed was just a quick phone call away

Due to the natural environment you will find a lot :-) A great service add on is the free shuttle to the most important places of the island. Thank you, we are looking forward to come back!

The entire staff provides incredibly noteworthy customer service, simple touches that make a difference. Don’t forget to make reservations for the restaurants and book services at the spa!

The hotel was perfectly situated, just a short walk from the ferry terminal and all the beautiful shops and restaurants. The spa and pool área were really good and the food at the snack bar was excellent

This hotel is right on the water and the sister hotel provides a private beach. You can’t get a better location. When you get to the beach you can go inside to the bar and order drinks and snacks

Last two days A/c wouldn’t lower which led to mosquitoes being active. My son had sooo many bites I was glad to leave , never happy to leave Ischia or Italy overall but it was overwhelming the mosquitoes

So that brings another point in investing to fumigate the place. Housekeeping Nidia and Mimma were great to spray but it isn’t enough. Also no place to dry clothes when using beach or pool

Room was nice looking but then discovered its flaws - super hard bed they really need to invest in this. I asked housekeeping to assist with a “topper” but again an investment is needed

We stayed here for 6 nights and could not have been happier. Small, boutique hotel with the friendliest staff. The larger pool was not heated and still too cold in May. But the smaller pool was thermal and lovely

Our room was excellent with a large terrace and beautiful sunset views. Large swimming pool and spa areas with loads of sunbeds to relax.

The view is absolutely breathtaking and we even spent an entire day enjoying their spa/pool. I would highly recommend this hotel for any traveler visiting Ischia

Everything was just perfect! Beautiful place, attentive and friendly staff, great meals and beautiful spa. Useful services like free shuttle to Forio and Cetara beach, plus good tariffs with their taxi person

We enjoyed our stay at Gzazia a la Scanella Hotel. A bit far from the city but in a very nice spot (a shuttle is provided by the hotel to give you a ride to the nearest city Forio and to the beach)

We like this hotel a lot and have been twice. Good central location, excellent food, attentive, helpful and properly masked staff. Loved the pool area and bar - as non-swimmers we felt safe

The restaurant lives up to expectations with dishes of excellent quality and variety: congratulations to the chef. The table service is excellent, managed with professionalism and care. Excellent bar service by the pool

At Breakfast there are dirty towels on the floor are the corks from wine that says that the evening had not been cleaned. But in General, very beautiful, lots of flowers, the interior in Maritime style

Excellent hotel located in the central area of ​​Ischia Porto. Reception welcoming and available for every need. Comfortable rooms with excellent cleaning service

The hotel waiting staff were good. If people are on holiday it may be an idea to give them until 10.30am not clearing around them just before 10.am. The reception staff were so helpful and very Polite.

The staff were more than excellent. The room and the sea view/castle view were excellent. The breakfast was unbelievably excellent with so many food/drink options

I didn’t swim in the pool as it wasn’t as blue as pictured in the advertisement (was a shade of green/couldn’t see the bottom) but the thermal pools were nice and relaxing

Pool loungers were busy/full at times but the hotel has a private beach area which also has loungers

What annoyed us however was Their pools were very very dirty and full on algae which was disappointing as that’s why we came to stay and wanted to sit in the once we were done at the beach

The are several pools to choose from located throughout the resort and we found ourselves rotating between these daily. We were served drinks poolside from the staff who were extremely polite and professional

We were provided with evening entertainment poolside on a couple of evenings which really created a fantastic atmosphere and authentic experience

The food we had was served from the Il Tufo restaurant which itself requires it's own review. The beef was cooked to absolute perfection, tender and melted in the mouth, swordfish pasta, incredible

The daily menu is displayed at the restaurant entrance and there are several options for each course, the portions are extremely generous and the staff ensured we did not go hungry during our stay

Our room had a fantastic sea view and was immaculate, cleaned daily to a very high standard we had all of the amenities we required for our time at the resort

The resort itself is located on a major bus route (tickets available at reception) and this made travelling the island incredibly easy, Ischia Porto? No problem. Ischia Adventure Park? No problem

Beautiful island with beautiful nature. Nice hotel in South Ischia with termal pools and health centre. There are lots of flowers in the garden even in autumn

This hotel it's a perfect place were you can relax and enjoing a nice vacantion! The bufet from morning and evening it's almost what it should be for a good meal

În the evening you can relax with a cocktail on their terrace which has a very nice panoramic view

Beautiful hotel, terrific service in an unbeatable location. Breakfast was also delicious and the sea platform was wonderful as well. You do need to take a golf cart to the pool and spa but it is not much of a hindrance

We had the most wonderful stay at the Miramare. The staff were all lovely and our room was beautiful - we said it was more seafront than sea view! We loved it

The room lead onto a beautifully planted white terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. The rumour service each day with new towels. It was a pleasure staying there. The breakfast each morning was amazing

Super tranquil, fantastic views, stylish hotel (I am referring to the main building, in which we had our room). The village Sant‘Angelo is very calm, no car traffic. And, yes, you will walk a lot in Sant‘Angelo

As a solo traveller, the hotel staff put me completely at ease and really made me feel special as it was my birthday during my stay. Dinner in the evening during my week-long stay was absolutely to die for
