Located about a 20-minute walk from Forio and also very close to other attractions, such as the La Mortella gardens and the Poseidon and Negombo thermal parks, it also has fantastic restaurants just a few meters from the hotel

The pool and private beach are great. The water is perfect and the scenic backdrop could not be better. The staff are very respectful and accommodating and go out of their way to ensure a pleasant day by the water

The beaches and layout areas are on cement piers. At first I was a little surprised, but have grown to love it and the cleanliness of the sunbathing experience

This place is absolutely amazing!!! A great resort with a phenomenal location. My family has received excellent service from the minute we arrived. So good in fact we extended our stay for another day

They have a one star Michelin restaurant on the premises (Indaco). The food and staff were phenomenal. One of the best meals I have eaten. I had the Vegetarian tasting menu and it blew me away

Near the hotel there are two shops. Thermal pools and hot working around the clock

The outdoor pool was large enough to swim, sometimes a bit too warm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds and the view are beautiful.

The bar paid the room drinks in the fridge ,too, everything is paid and the price high 250gram champagne for 6 euros! On departure you will be given a score

Most hotels are closed during winter. They are open and the personnel here is amazing. Dinner is only available from 7:30 pm to 9 pm during Winter!

Our ocean view room had not been updated since the 80s, it seemed. The pools had lots of noisy children despite the quiet zone signs. Almost impossible to find a working massage jet

We've booked this hotel for 11 nights in January because of thermal salt water. A few working pools in the area in this time of the year. Unfortunately the big indoor pool isn't working at all

Spacious rooms, amazing thermal heated pools, piano player every night, the FRIENDLIEST staff (especially Carmen & Giuseppe). All the accommodations you could hope for - Pool, beach, spa, restaurant and more

It's a very nice hotel with several accommodations. The pool is gorgeous and the thermal spa is a treat. Wonderful spa options available to treat yourself as well. Close to lots of great local stuff too.

The hotel has its own beach area. There is a piano bar where a man plays between 9 - 10:30 and we were there every night enjoying the night. We had an amazing trip and look forward to coming back

Gala dinner is fun, but - beware - the truly awful table wine is not complimentary (18 euros for a 'vintage' less than a year old) and other charges (water with dinner and daily tourist tax) do pop up on your bill

Nice hotel. Decorated in a vintage style. The thermal Spa. Relax in the hotel mainly older Italians. 10 minutes from the sea. Next to a small supermarket.

Not too far from the port, the castle and many shops. Staff are good but not used to saying hello every time you go out in the morning. Breakfast is really good and filling

Wide selection of desserts at breakfast, but the other food is limited. Large breakfast area with plenty of seating, but not much space to move between tables, and there are some traffic jams at the buffet

There are many massage rooms and two pools about 4m by 4m in dimensions on floor „-2”. The sauna, steam room and thermal pools and swimming pool are only open 7:30-19

The outdoor pool is a small children’s pool, not a lap swimming one. It is a 10-minute walk to the beach from the parking lot at the back of the hotel

The structure is very graceful and beautiful. The furniture is well placed and its style is not isolated but contributes to the atmosphere of the guests. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished

The place is a spectacle of nature. See the island of Procida and admire the promontory of the Aragonese castle. Capri is not the protagonist of the panorama, but does its job

For those who say it's a little dated, I think that's its charm, immaculate and comfortable room

The room lead onto a beautifully planted white terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. The rumour service each day with new towels. It was a pleasure staying there. The breakfast each morning was amazing

Very happy with the hotel, staff, great rooms with great sea views! Good cuisine, although by the end of the holiday monotonous breakfasts became boring, I would like to wish the hotel to revise the menu and make it more varied

The resort staff were extremely friendly always happy to help. We stayed in one of their villas 5 minutes walk up the path. It was absolutely stunning beautifully decorated in black and white

The hotel overlooks the port. Many of the rooms without a balcony, but the corner with a large terrace. The rooms are not large.

San Montano was incredible! The views are magical, the pools were relaxing, our dinner was superb (try the lobster with linguini and the cheesecake), the pizza by the pool was great, but even better than the food was the service! Their team was welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond

The bathrooms and mattresses seem a bit outdated indeed, but we did not spend much time in the room anyways, so it did not matter to us. The big pool area, the views, the food, the service

They have a shuttle service as well to forth and back from the beach and from Lacco Ameno

We were flying back to the US following our stay here so it was also a bonus that we could do our covid test on site. We were very pleased and will be referring the resort to our friends and family!

The pools are amazing they all vary in temperatures. You must wear a swim cap to get inside the pools. Pools are open daily from 9am to 7pm. Something worth mentioning is the uphill walks

Great beaches are at walking distance, closest one is small Cava Gardo, down from the bus station - but it is brilliant beach, calm and crystal water

I loved the place! It’s really romantic if you feel comfortable with older people around. Great thermals, food & staff!

We were able to bring our dog with us pretty much everywhere. Even when we were laying out by the pools. You also get assigned pool chairs for the duration of your stay so you will always have your chair and an umbrella

Wonderful Spa and food was fantastic.

The rooms were a little outdated, for example the curtains and bedspread, but nothing essential. Our bathroom door would not open all the way because of the sink, but you could close the door, not too much of a big deal

The hotel waiting staff were good. If people are on holiday it may be an idea to give them until 10.30am not clearing around them just before 10.am. The reception staff were so helpful and very Polite.

Loved the room, craved their breakfast (they even ask you how long you want your eggs being boiled for), spent hours by the rooftop pool and quite some time at the spa downstairs

This newly refurbished hotel is graciously appointed with unique and historic furnishings. We enjoyed a clean and refreshing pool on the rooftop, equipped with a pizza restaurant and bar

The hotel really should’ve had a 6-star rating. Everything from service to the pool to the restaurant to pristine condition is absolutely top notch

The pool area was infested and dangerous - very disappointing because we went to the hotel to relax with our baby but had to stay inside our room on the last few days

Our room was 207 with a massive Balcony, Went on trip to the owners house Santa Maria which they do once a week for any guests interested there was about 12 of us from UK, Germany, Italy, and Russia lovely mix

Along with there very own wine and brushet great evening as long as you dont mind the very bendy road up the hill. The hotel is fully equipped, good housekeeping and very helpful reception

Its a 20 min walk to the town of Forio but the Hotel offers a free shuttle if needed. If we get chance to go back to Ischia will quite happily stay at this hotel again

A very very fine location with an amazing view on the Citara' bay A italian friend says me that this hotel was perfect for a relaxing accommodation

Only thing I would mention as with many hotels in Italy there is no Tea and Coffee making facility in the room, which for us British can be missed

Exceptional service and an unforgettable stay. Valerio is a gem - we would come back to Mezzatorre solely for his hospitality. The grounds are beautiful and serene as well.

The staff here were second to none and they all seemed genuinely happy to be there and happy to have you. They could not have been nicer and more accommodative and take Mezzatorre to the next level

Great hotel near the sea with 2 of the two pools. Very nice staff. Nice room with a large terrace overlooking the sea and pool. Delicious breakfasts. The hotel is in the center near the port.

Hotel pools were full of mold and hard water build up, water was cloudy. No towels for pool or spa, bring your own. Long walk to their beach area

Nice and clean, good atmosphere. More for elder persons, swimming pools are nice and clean and so is the sauna. The food is ok, not great- Italy is known for the coffee, this one is not good

Rooms are great, outdoor pools as well, breakfast could be with more varieties. There is no scrambled egg, but you can boil yourself, that seems somehow odd to expect from four star hotel

The breakfast is very nice and you can sit also outside and enjoy the garden. I did not use the pool, but the beach from the nearby hotel Miramare e Castello which makes everything worth it

Right on the seaside, facing the beautiful Castelo of Ischia, it's just a few minutes walk away from one of the most beautiful areas of the island. The structure is really nice and clean, and the rooms are very cozy

The hotel has lovely common area furnishings and is in a great location, right across the street from the beach. My friend and I made use of the sister hotel Hotel Miramare e Castello for lunch, beach and spa

The pool, indoor water elements and Miramare spa rooms could use update but I still enjoyed all the hotel had to offer including a delicious breakfast buffet

The hotel is situated in a best strategic place between main street and sea. Outside pool with thermal water, and inside the hotel is termal spa. I recommand for people who want to rest and charging inner batteries

Staff very helpful and friendly. Antonio pool attendant couldn't do enough for you! Food very Italian excellent especially fish courses. The rooms I would say were more 3* than 4* but kept very clean

They arranged a scooter for us for 35 Euros for 24 hours, suggested restaurants, booked the spa for me via phone. Welcome bottle of prosecco and sweets was very kind
