Grifo Hotel Charme & SPA

We have just checked out of this exceptional hotel. We were on our first family holiday with our 3 month old baby, and they privatised a cot and baby bath for us. The hotel is immaculately clean, with wonderful and attentive staff. A true family run business that really care for their guests. Restaurant food is very good and the spa and treatments were first class. Incredible value for money. Thanks so much!

We just returned from a trip to Ischia and our experience at Grifo Hotel was wonderful. What a gem of a place to stay. We called to let them know that we had just arrived at the port and within 5 minutes, Michele was there to pick us up. Marica gave us a great overview of the hotel, the island, and some suggestions on what to do. Enzo treated us like family and catered to my dairy allergy and breakfast was wonderful. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. The pool was lovely but we didn't get to experience the spa. Next time we will. The shuttle was really convenient to get to the bus station at the port and was such a nice thing to have. They even accommodated our trips outside of normal hours at the closer pick up spot when we couldn't do the scheduled pick up times. We will definitely be back to this wonderful hotel soon.

What a gem! Small, beautiful, family run hotel. Service that makes you feel special. Superb views, excellent food, regular shuttle service to Ischia town (the hill walk is a challenge). All the staff are wonderful, special call out to Enzo, Marika and Antonio. Quiet, relaxing, everything you need.

The staff is so friendly and accomodating! The spa is wonderful and includes a thermal spring, so you can skip the thermal parks on the island if you wish. And the food is amazing as well! Make sure you have at least one dinner at Grifo - a delicious experience of fresh, in season, locally caught dishes.

Everything,I was pleased to receive the hospitality and the wonderful service from all of the hotel staffs, including restaurants. I have been traveling Italy few times, I felt like at home feeling. yet always we received meticulous services. they offer the shuttle service to ischia port and back to hotel, but they are so nice to offer us without schedule time. The all of hotel staffs are cheerful and not overwhelmed. For us, the best services we received in Italy. Highly recommend to people who prefer privacy, great services and treat yourself. They treat you very well!

Absolutely superb. Amazing place and exceptionally professional staff. It has a good shuttle and taxi service to other attractions on the island. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This hotel has been amazing, extremely accommodating, very clean, and it really made our vacation. They have a set menu at the hotel for lunch and dinner. Dinner gets a new menu every day, If you don’t like something on the menu, Enzo, the dinner manager will accommodate you, just as he did for us many times. There is a great breakfast served in the morning with many options to chose from. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and immaculately clean. We stayed in 3 rooms, one came with an extra bed which was great when one of our friends had accidentally booked a room without a place for their child to sleep. I only have one “bad”(not even a bad thing) thing to say about the rooms is that the electricity turns off when you take the room key out of the slot which when you are trying to charge something when not in the room you have to leave a room key in. The spa in the basement is incredible, with multiple waters, saunas, and showers to chose from(all felt amazing I recommend following the map I felt so refreshed). The staff is so kind and welcoming, Francesco sings every saturday night and dances which was so fun and amazing. Frederico, the bartender, made lovely drinks and was a treat to talk to. The owners are so kind and accommodating, there is always someone to help if you need. All the staff at the hotel were so helpful and kind and such a pleasure to talk to. Overall this hotel has made my vacation so much more relaxing and has been the most amazing hotel I have stayed at ever! I have loved staying at this hotel, if i could rate it higher I would! Highly recommend if you come to Ischia!!!

What an amazing hotel! From the moment we arrived, we had such a wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and the grounds were immaculately beautiful. The ocean view from our room was amazing. The breakfast was delicious with so many options, there was something for everyone. I only wish I had time to experience some of the spa services. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet place to relax and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings.

The single best hospitality you will ever experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptionally helpful in arranging us transportation from the port and down to the town center, and really makes an effort to get to know you. During our stay, we were given private access to the hot tub for an hour following our spa services, making for an incredibly romantic stay. When we were not going to make it to our 8:55am flight on time, the staff arranged us a wake up call at 3:30am and travel to the port, on a ferry to Naples, and to the Naples airport. Will definitely be returning.

it is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. the spa is excellent with wonderful massages by Ana. we stayed for three nights, and had gorgeous food and delicious wines (Daniel the sommelier is very knowledgeable and suggested some great local wines). The Chef in the restaurant gave us really good food and on two nights did a special order menu, which was the best Scampi Fritti we have ever tasted. highly recommend. Personnel are very friendly and helpful, thank you to Donatella, Maria, Manola and everybody for making our stay so relaxed and pleasant.
