Hotel Residence S.Angelo

What a lovely view from our bedroom balcony 😍 we stayed here for three nights and had a lovely experience here. I was happy we stayed here, as it is close enough to the city centre, but also super close to the bus stop, which allows you to explore the island easily. There is also a small but lovely beach at 3 minutes walking from the hotel.
The hotel hosts were the best, they had plenty of suggestions for food and activities. Another highlight was the breakfast, prepared by the owner’s father. The freshly baked crostata was to die for! They were very welcoming and kind, I would happily come here again!

It's rare to feel perfectly at home while so far from it, and that's exactly what this charming family-run hotel achieves. From the minute you walk through the doors, you are greeted with the radiant warmth and enthusiasm of the host. Our room was spacious, and though the decor was somewhat out of fashion, the view from the balcony was positively breathtaking. The hotel offers a hearty breakfast of fruit and pastries baked by Nonno himself (he deserves a medal for his various crostatas). We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would certainly return in a heartbeat.

Would be very nice if you could get some food at the hotel during the day. Hotel has a termal swiming pool, what is GREAT! You can spend time there from 8 am till 20 pm and enjoy great water.

My friend and I decided to spend part of our vacation in Sant'Angelo, and we luckily found Hotel Residence Sant'Angelo.

I've traveled extensively in Italy, and I find that the hospitality on Ischia is unmatched in quality. Hotel Sant'Angelo was no exception! We met Giuseppe and Sanni, the father and son proprietors of the hotel. Each night, Giuseppe baked delicious homemade treats for the morning. We enjoyed a cake made with chocolate and Ischian citrus (one with orange, one with lemon) as well as a delicious Nutella + jam crostata.

Our room was not only clean, it was cleaned and tidied daily, with a very comfortable (impossible to find in Italy) mattress.

Giuseppe greeted us each evening to chat and to ask us about our night out, sharing his life story and asking about ours (and always reminding us how wonderful our energies were and beautiful we looked :) ) and in the morning with a table next to the incredible view for breakfast. Sanni helped us navigate to find beach parties, and wine, and offered his local contacts as needed. Both gave us their personal phone numbers and responded quickly. I speak some Italian, which made communication easier, but Sanni does speak English as well.

I'd come back in an instant!

We didn't take advantage of the pool, as our time there was short, but would come back in an instant to check it out!

Stayed here to get away from current world and US craziness. One of the few spots on earth where I still feel safe.

Family run, old world hospitality, care , operations. Blessedly non corporate. Personal human interest, care without being invasive. Even the continental breakfast is fresh baked and from the garden--- not packaged.

Rooms are very clean, comfortable, decorated in soft blues. Wifi, TVs in rooms. AC and mini fridges work great. Very secure grounds with lighting, security cameras. Has a casual coastal lodge vibe and loving calm energy.

Hotel has discount deals with tours, spas, activities, restaurants. Be sure to ask.

Easy safe walks to warm sands beach and charming Sant Angelo.

A very delightful stay in this family owned B&B, where my boyfriend and I were warmly welcomed by the father&son. The location was great, with easy access from the port area to S angelo and a beautiful view of the beach. Especially if you’re travelling with bus, super good choice to stay here as the bus will drop you in front of the B&B. The Italian breakfast was not wow, but simple yet enjoyable; the room was typical outdated italian style, just like other accommodations in Ischia, but very clean. I’m a cleanness freak but I had no complaints at all. The owners made us feel at home, providing local tips and recommendations with genuine smiles. Their warm hospitality alone could easily be worth 5 stars. Highly recommended for a budget stay with easy access to everywhere in Saint Angelo!

Great, family-run hotel. The pool has an amazing view and comfy sunbeds. Rooms are clean and cool. The staff is super friendly and chill. Would love to come back 🤠

Great hotel! The staff, Sanny and his father, are very friendly and helpful! Rooms was simple but had everything you need. Breakfast very good, croissants and cake baked by the owner. The location is walking distance from Sant’angelo’s center which was the most beautiful part of Ischia.

Amazing place. Great to chill 2 pools (in and outside) the perfect place to chill and relax.
Staff is amazingly helpful and very kind.
