Hotel San Francesco

Loved our stay here. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast buffet was a nice touch. Our room and bathroom were quite large and the AC worked really well (it got up to 38 degrees Celsius outside during our stay). The beach club is a bit expensive but the pool can be accessed for free when staying at the hotel (there is nowhere to sit by the pool but it’s a great way to cool down). Also, the soundproof windows were phenomenal as well have a young baby and there were fireworks (which we couldn’t hear in our room) most nights. Highly recommend this hotel - great value!

Immaculate freshly renovated family-owned hotel across a small 2 lane street from a well appointed beach (umbrellas, lounges, small pool, bar). Beds are comfy. New bathrooms are darling. Breakfast is excellent. TV in room allows you to login to your Netflix and prime accounts. Highly recommend 👍

The room was a dream I felt like a highborn in a Roman times with the white tiles and the colon in the room and we had a balcony with wonderful view to the ocean. That hotel really made our vacation even more wonderful. The Staff was so polite and friendly. We'd come back anytime.

This was our second visit to the Amalfi Coast and we stayed at Hotel San Francesco in Maiori. Again we were not disappointed. The Hotel is owned by Luigi Ferraro, who is at the Hotel every day insuring to the last detail complete customer satisfaction. His entire staff is trained for customer satisfaction, always polite, helpful,accommodating, and very respectful. Most of the staff speaks English, the remainder are able to work out what you are asking.

The facilities are immaculate. The rooms are cleaned to a tee everyday, fresh sheets and towels, the rooms are very spacious, with air conditioning, TV, and always ample Hot Water.

The Dining Room is spectacular, we had breakfast and Dinner daily for each of our stays. The Dining Room is run by Vincenzo, a completely fine gentleman who meets your every need. His crew is spectacular, all of them very respectful and very accommodating

The Food was absolutely delicious. Breakfast is a buffet, very complete and if you ask for something you are use to having you get it. I have a banana a day, and by the time of the second morning breakfast there was a banana daily for me. The Dinner served at 730pm is short of absolutely amazing. Freshly made pasta daily, a variety of pastas and combinations made available daily. Fish is their specialty, caught fresh daily and cooked to perfection. Luigi the owner was a master chef himself, he personally selects the daily dinner menu. and monitors its preparation. The Hotel brand wine is excellent and very reasonable.

If you need transportation locally wherever just ask, and a variety of vechicles are available for your needs. We had to be in Amalfi early to catch a boat to Ischia, they took us, and when we went to Ravello they took us their and back. Cost is less than a taxi, and all of the drivers are masters of the winding roads you experience along the coast.

If planning to go to the Amalfi Coast stay her, on the water, most rooms have water view, step across the street and the ocean is before you, and the port with boats to take you daily all over the coast is a walk away. The day is complete and you return home usually in time to go to the water, and then prepare for dinner..

This is the best show in town and I /we highly recommend it.

Fantastic location, right next to the ocean and beaches, but set back from too much road noise. Food offered is fantastic, as is the service. Rooms can be a bit strangely laid out or small, but if you are spending most of your day out of the hotel they'll be perfectly clean and comfortable for you at night.

Angelo, Manuella and Franco are the wonderful hosts they really looked after us and when I told them my brother was joining in they were very accommodating giving us quality rooms and exceptional service! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great Italian experience 🙌🏽
