Disappointing Experience

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel. It’s simply not what it claims to be, and we left feeling like we’d been misled. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way that star ratings mean very little—reading guest reviews is far more telling, and in this case, they were spot on.

The room we received was nothing like the photos advertised online. It was outdated, mouldy, dirty, and came with an odd “no eating” policy, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. For a hotel that promotes itself on its cleanliness, the reality was far from it.

The buffet was just as underwhelming. Hot foods like eggs and meats were served cold, while cold items looked like leftovers from the day before. The use of flimsy cardboard cups for juice was another telling detail that this place is far from “luxury.”

Ultimately, this hotel feels like a tourist trap—high prices, nice photos, non-refundable bookings, and a 4-star rating that’s completely unearned. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere.

Also to top it all off they request you leave you’re room key with the key to you’re safe with them every time you go out. On return they don’t even ask for any proof of identity so anyone who looks like a tourist can just get the key to you’re room and safe as it was a different receptionist each time which isn’t too great either.

I don’t know who gave this hotel 4 stars first of all the place is in a ghetto area of Napoli second the room was dirty and the toilet didn’t have water I had to climb on top of toilet to open the tank on top old fashion. No electronic keys so you have to carry this giant key holder with you. The ac wasn’t cold at all . Trying to get a new room was not possible the morning front desk lady acted like she didn’t care one bit . The worst hotel ever I went to Cuba and it reminded me of that place🥵🥵🥵🥵

We had booked the superior double room for 3 nights which looked amazing in the photos provided. Once arriving at the hotel we had entered the room and the room was completely different to what we had booked. The bar fridge was completely different and old and the bathroom was no where near what the photos depicted it was old and rusty. I confronted the management about this misleading advertisement and said that this was not right. They advised me that there were no other available rooms that they could accomodate for me and my wife considering this was pit stop during our honeymoon. After consideration we decided to book another hotel that we felt we would be more comfortable in. After informing them we had booked another hotel the manager then advised that he could upgrade us to a much bigger room so that we wouldn’t make a complaint, he then asked which hotel we had booked and without our knowledge he had contacted them to cancel the booking we made with the new hotel. I advised him that this whole situation was not right and he started to get frustrated and said you are free to leave with no refund. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a hotel and they should reconsider what they call there standards. I have spent time reviewing there responses to other Google reviews and there is no excuse as our issue was raised immediately and was told there was no other room to put us in. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The location was very ghetto and not family friendly.

Room was dirty. Dust on the table and the surface was sticky. Also dirt on the floor. Towel rack was rusted.

Sound proofing didn't exist. Door was made out of paper. Every single sound was audible to the room.

I complained about dirty room when checking out but answer was only "oh really".

I wonder what makes this a 4-star hotel.

The hotel was in a nice spot but located in a rough neighborhood (with no view, of course) that made you feel unsafe. There was absolutely no soundproofing—if someone whispered in the bathroom of one room, it could be heard three rooms down, which was extremely annoying for all of us staying there. The breakfast, while whatever was offered tasted good, lacked variety and became monotonous. On the contrary, the dinner was tasty with a nearly different selection every evening (though of course it doesn’t compare to what you’d get at a proper restaurant—but for hotel standards, it was decent).

The rooms were uncomfortably small, although I liked the décor—it was simple and minimal. The bathroom was quite beautiful, but very tiny, and they gave us fewer towels than the number of guests staying in the room. Naples as a travel destination is wonderful, but staying in this hotel definitely wasn’t.

This is the first time I have seen so many ridiculous rules:

Room: No food allowed,

Luggage storage: Charged, 5 euros for 5 hours for one piece of luggage, 1 euro for one hour overtime,

Breakfast: No refills if food is gone for half an hour, Check-out time: 10 am (I have never seen a hotel that checks out at 10 am)

Quilt: No complete quilt cover, the quilt is sandwiched between the sheets

This 4 star hotel is ridiculous🤣

早餐：食物没了半小时还不进行补充，
退房时间：早上10点（我就没见过10点退房的酒店）
被子：没有完整的被套，被子是夹在床单中间的
这家4星级简直荒谬…………

I’m not sure where the '4-star' rating comes from, but by universal standards, this hotel is at best a '2-star.' The location is fairly convenient, but the neighborhood doesn't feel particularly safe. The staff has the demeanor of a strict boarding school tutor: 'no food in the room!' I've also never encountered a hotel that charges for luggage storage (€5 per piece for the first 5 hours). I strongly do not recommend this hotel. You can find much better options in Naples for the same price.
