Hotel Ariston

You enter into a lovely foer and are welcomed by lovely service. Then you enter your room with two single beds pushed together, one a camp bed (?) With uncomfortable mattresses laid atop. The shower doesn't drain properly, the breakfast is average. Only plus is they have boiled eggs. They dont provide a kettle in the rooms nor do they let you use there microwave. Is in a good location if you don't walk 40min in the wrong direction 😅

** Awful ! **. We booked 5 rooms for 3 families for 1 night through the booking site, the lobby of the hotel looked good, but when we entered the rooms, we noticed the high humidity in the room, 2 rooms smelled strongly of mold and the ceiling of one of the rooms was moldy and it was not possible to breathe. After we protested, they told us that we will not refund the money and we will only change 2 of the rooms for you. However, the new rooms were as awful as others. We had to use only 4 rooms, but we were charged for 5 rooms. The bathroom faucet was constantly dripping, the windows had no soundproofing at all, the sound of passing cars on the street was clearly audible. The toilet was loose and apparently broken. The carpet in the corridors was dirty and old. I do not recommend it at all.

Worst experience ever.
Both female Receptionists were extremely unwelcoming. For check in receptionist refused to show the room before payment. As a result we got room with one bed instead of our booked room with two beds
Our room was tiny. We couldn't even open our bags. Window in the bathroom led to the balcony of neighbor and locker was broken. We never felt safe in this room as it was accessible for neighbors.
Door didn't lock from inside.
Bidet was not possible to use. Hair dryer older than me. Shower was old and didn't work properly. Furniture old and scratched. Bed old and not comfortable. Internal phone didn't work.
It was very noisy.
Nearest bus stop of the bus which works till midnight is in 25 minutes walk by the neighborhood which doesn't have proper pedestrian area and very scary in the late evening.
Bus from this stop to Venice takes 30 minutes. So in total it's one hour without wanting for the bus time. In reality it's 1, 5 hour....
Attitude of the receptionist is horrible. They refuse to give their names, they don't wear bages with their names. The check out time is 10;30. If you are late they demand 25 Euro extra payment.
Whatever you ask them - they don't care...
The price for the rooms is changing non-stop
We payed 100 Euro per night and felt used and abused.
Never in my life I felt that I'm so extremely not welcome.

Hotel looks lovely when you enter the lobby but then when you go to you room prepare to be disappointed! The rooms are old and outdated! Shower curtains have mold! Old rusty wardrobes, just everything is a hot mess. The door didn't even lock! We didn't realise until the second night. We was forced here due to the previous hotel down the street having bed bugs. Staff are lovely but i would NEVER openly choose to stay here again.

Worst experience!
Although some of the staffwas very nice, the experience was horrible and I would not recommend it ever.
It really ruined our first day and staying there was a painful thing (staff proposed to cancel the reservation to get reimbursed but during a bank holiday it was impossible to find something, so we had no choice). The rooms did not correspond at all to the pictures shown during the reservation. We asked to have a better room (we checked previously if the hotel had availabilities and they did) but did not want to give us anything, even changing rooms to have 1 double bed (as asked during the reservation but they marked twin beds ). The bathroom had a shower curtain that was growing mold.

🛑Worst thing what ever happened to me during traveling.!
First room was full with mug got other room "better one" and it ended there.
And tok a nap, woke up bitten by bed bugs!!!! It was couple of them.
Left this Hotel fast as I could , staff offered other room but I think all this place is with bugs!
The lady in resepsjon was nice and professional.
