We stayed at Hotel Venezia for a few nights and overall had a pleasant experience.
The location is excellent – very central and convenient for exploring the city on foot.
The hotel has a beautiful Venetian 17th/18th-century theme with lots of Murano glass, classic furniture, and elegant details. At first it feels like an old historic building, but everything has actually been recently renovated, so it’s fresh and well maintained. Our room and especially the bathroom were modern, spotless, and comfortable.
The only real downside was the breakfast. It’s the same very limited buffet every day: three types of bread rolls, cold cuts, cheese, butter, a few pieces of fruit, juice, coffee/tea, boiled eggs, basic cereals, yogurt, and honey. Everything is pre-packaged or pre-portioned, and there’s no hot food. It’s perfectly fine for one morning, but if you’re staying longer than 1–2 nights you’ll probably get bored and end up going out for breakfast.
Staff were friendly and check-in/check-out was smooth.
In summary: lovely boutique hotel in a fantastic location with charming historic decor and clean, updated rooms. Just don’t expect an exciting or varied breakfast if you’re staying more than a night or two.

Very nice hotel, very polite people, excellent location nearby tram stations to Venice and Mestre train station. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Horrible looking hotel. The floor the walls and the roof are all the same shade. The pattens are disgraceful and over stimulating. Bathroom is way too small the toilet is essentially in the shower and the bidet is obnoxiously in the way. The bed topper which is red and gold with a horrible patten on it smelt disgusting and unclean. The shower was a slow leak rather than an actual shower and I felt so unclean even after the showers. I will say the bed was comfortable and is liveable but this place will never be my first choice when I return to Venezia.

Great Location!! 2 min walk to shopping mall and tram station which will take you to Grand canal for Euro 3. You can buy tickets from Hotel also. Rooms were Ok but bathroom was very small as they trying to keep it old style. Breakfast was just normal, coffee was not good please install good coffee machine. Staff was very friendly. Overall experience was great.

This hotel was clean, the room was serviced every day, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good with a large variety of items from pastry, to fruit and bread rolls.
The location was excellent, with easy access to Venice’s very good integrated public transport system. Mestre itself was quiet and felt safe, there were good options for food.
The only downside was the size of the room, which wasn’t really a family size. It was a double with temporary beds for the children set up in the available space. Be aware of this if you book a ‘family’ room at this hotel.

Great location. Close to train and water taxi or bus station. Perfect for being picked up to go to next location. Didn’t have to lug luggage all over Venice. Wonderful staff. Great breakfast. Rooms very nice but a little small for typical Marriott. Beds very comfortable. Pretty hotel. Would definitely recommend highly.

Friendly, polite and very helpful staff. Good location, right next to the bus and tram stops, which means you don't have to live on the islands of Venice, but can still get there quickly. Excellent breakfast, including various breads, cheese, ham, eggs, coffee, tea, juices, etc.
1. In the bathroom, there is just a curtain instead of a shower cubicle, so after showering, everything was completely wet. There are also no shelves for shower accessories, which also contributes to the wet floor, etc. The shower curtain was dirty with orange stains, hopefully it was just rust. The radiator in the bathroom was also covered in a centimetre-thick layer of dust and had clearly never been cleaned.
2. Despite the fact that the room was cleaned every day, the presence of various textiles made this room quite dusty. So, if you have allergies, it is better to be careful.

Hotel very typical of all the lovely decor that the Venetians love. Beautiful and stunning fixtures and decor so perfectly done. Staff service was good. However room was very small for international guests with luggage making it difficult to manoueve in your room. Wide spread of breakfast and drinks. Good location near tram and bus station for easy travel within the town.

Grand decor old venetian design lobby. Good location. Good buffet breakfast. There is plenty of seating area. Our room is very small. 2 large luggages are hard to fit. The toilet is small too. We only had 1 toilet paper in the room and with small soap and shampoo sachet. The TV is not working. Good thing the air-conditioning does work. We asked for kettle, and it's only available in the bar lobby. It's not allowed to bring in the room.
