Room were fairly nice, bed was very good, but the key card was very difficult to get the room lights to work. Every time we came back into the room the key card worked fine in the door lock but had to keep putting in the light slot to get the room lights to come on. Usually took 5 to ten minutes to get them to work. Very frustrating
Room is lovely but because of the location of this hotel, there's barely any good views to be had. (we can look at the docks and some cranes) What i find weird is that only one building seems to operate at this time. We have tried entering the first building but nobody seemed to be there. We didn't know where to go and just went to the other side which faces the road. Room service is great! They...
Very nice and comfy room. Breakfast is ok, gluten-free and dairy free options available. The island is easy to get to, the bus stop is in front of the hotel (nr43), airport bus is a 10-minute walk away (nr15). Very pleasant, would book again.
Nice, clean big room. Big comfortable bed. The only minus it was a bit cold in the breakfast area and the breakfast itself lacked vegetables, but the rest was simply very nice. Bus to Venice in front of the hotel. Sushi restaurant across the street so all good.
The Room itself is OK. It’s big and spacious. However, We are in the first floor and the view is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life so far. When I open the window curtain, there are smoke butts and other trashes in front of me (see pic). However, this must be a very popular hotel. I asked the front desk to exchange another room and was told that the whole hotel is fully booked. There is no other room
First things first… for those not wanting to pay at least triple the price to stay in Venice Centre this is a superb alternative. From Venezia Santa Lucia main train station (facing) turn left, walk over the bridge, get the number 4 bus for only 1.5 Euro, 4 / 5 stops and approximately a 10 minute walk. Hotel next to conference centre but better than just a business option , room size very large, comfy...

Good location to explore Venice, easy reach to trains, airport, San Marco. Area it self not too attractive. Good value for money in Venice. Lots of youth and tourist groups. Our room was nice, clean, quiet. No complains. Breakfast experience not good. Noisy, kids running around, youth leaving their luggage and bags everywhere including tables. Lots of items running low. A bit dirty. Coffee and bread...
Booked for a group of 11—10-person room plus my separate stay—and found it to be one of the best budget-friendly options in Venice. It’s conveniently close to the railway station, metro, and FlixBus stop, though a metro ride is needed to reach Venice’s main landmarks. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and spoke good English, even during late-night hours. Elevators are available, and the atmosphere...
Fantastic location. 5 minutes walk from train a n buss to airport. Receptionist was great and helping. Room nice and clean.
I stayed at a&o Venezia Mestre for 3 nights in April 2024. What I liked: - Location: It's located a few hundred meters away from Venezia Mestre Train station and is very easy to locate. For me this was really important because I had two heavy suitcases to wheel around. - Rooms are clean and cleaned daily. Also somewhat spacious and they have an ensuite bathroom with shower gel, hair dryer and hand...
Very good location, 5 minutes walk from Mestre train station. Good atmosphere and secured environment, attached bathroom with hand wash, shower gel, hairdryer, enough tissue paper all are there. Good 24/7 customer service indeed. Highly recommended. * Few headlights together in one room made me feel disturbed from my bed while sleeping and the authority can think to find a solution. :)
The ideal place to stay for a night when you have a trip to Venice) Location and price are so great! The rooms need renovation (toilet doesn't work properly, a USB socket on a bed doesn't work too, plumbing in the bathroom are dirty and worn). Room service is weak. But it was easy to book the room, pay for it, check in and check out. The lobby looks a quite comfortable and cosy. A good service at...

It was good with kids, swimming pool was well maintained, overall had a good time
We stayed for 1 night. The hotel needs updating with rooms and need to be more clean. But overall it’s acceptable.
The room was very clean and tidy and their attitude was very good
There is still dust in the hotel, but overall is good. Only the cleanlines that becoming my concern.
Not too shabby a place to stay if you would like to visit Venice. However, I’m puzzled why my room key’s been removed from the card slot after we came back. Also, I’m surprised with the housekeeping opening our room door even though we are only staying a night without the need for housekeeping.
Reception staff are friendly. Room is excellent. There are children play area and outdoor swimming pool which are good. There is Lidl supermarket nearby where you can buy fruits, yogurt and snacks etc if you want. Since it is located in Venice Mestre, it takes 20 to 30 minutes to the main city.

The best location for a visitor in Venice. Bus station from Treviso airport in front of its door. Trains for any Italian town you want to visit in front of its door. City bus for Venice in front of its door. Very clean. Very kind staff, always ready to help. I will recommend it to my friends who will visit Venice.
Got lucky to check in early around noon instead of 3 PM since it was the low season. The room was super clean, and it was nice to find a triple room with three separate beds available. The location was perfect, right in front of Mestre station, which made traveling around really easy. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, and breakfast was actually quite good. Overall, it was a great stay and very...
I really had a wonderful time! The location is perfect, there's a great variety of food for breakfast and everything was good and fresh. It's also very convenient to have a restaurant in the building. The only problem was the bed,. It wasn't a real queen bed. The fact of having 2 single bed next to each other to have one bed made a hole in the middle and forced us to use only one side of the bed.
The hotel’s location is a big plus, the train station is right in front, making it easy to get to Venice city center in just 10 minutes. While my first interaction at reception wasn’t the most pleasant, another staff member later was very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. The room could use a bit more attention to cleanliness, as there was some dust and the sheets had a slight odor. Breakfast...
Convenient location: just opposite to the Mestre station, a good stop if you choose not to stay in Venice for accommodation with higher room rate. It just 15 mins train from Mestre station directly to Venice. Hotel room is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Friendly staff. With a restaurant for drinks, pasta and pizza if you choose to stay in for dining.
Perfect location—just across the street from the train station and close to the car rental point. It was so convenient since we rented a car and could drop it off right there without dragging our luggage far. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Highly recommended!

The shuttle to the station is not clear enough, no map and clear time table but just verbal conversation
Disadvantages: A tour group hotel, in a remote location, average soundproofing, average size, The room also uses disposable paper cups for brushing teeth, and there are few types of breakfast. In a word, if you are planning to come to Venice by train and want to stay in Mestre, although there is a free shuttle bus, it is not recommended at all. Advantages: If you drive from Florence/Bologna, this...
All the staff are super nice. Very clean and new. Everything is good except the location. Do some research before booking this.
Good clean room massive bed, the reception staff were very helpful with advice how to get into Venice and avoid the tourist tax, easy 10 min walk to the bus which takes 20 mins to get into Venice. Breakfast was ok and it helps to have free parking, The only negative was when we just wanted a bar snack in the evening, I was told they could only do a toastie for 8 euro so ordered that, absolutely terrible...
Amazing hotel, perfect location and even better staff
Although the hotel is in the Mestre district, the location feels a little remote because we drove from Florence in the south. It is not far from the highway and there is a gas station next to it. There is an outdoor parking lot outside the hotel with plenty of parking spaces. It only takes 15 minutes to drive to the main island of Venice, so it is very suitable for people who travel by car. Good connections to Venice and Treviso as well. Helpful staff and great breakfast.
Overall, a good enough hotel. But a few things are lacking. It’s decently clean but could be better. Breakfast is ok, but could be better for the level of the hotel. And they have decent options including smoked salmon. Don’t expect a top service hotel and it’s going to be just fine.
I have stayed here several times in the last few years. Overall this is an excellent and very comfortable hotel, albeit located well north in an area more commercial and of shopping outlets. I really want to give 5 stars. However it is let down by one issue… a very poor breakfast service. Breakfast is served at level -1 in an underground room with little natural light, despite there being a...
This hotel was a great pick for our last two days of our excursion. It is only maybe 20 minutes to the airport, very clean, spacious, and has most amenities. We had a couple issues with getting a crib for the baby and them delivering a broken one, but we were able to get...
Was a little far from Venezia and Venice Mestre Statjon but still reasonable enough as there was a bus stop right outside the hotel. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend to others.
Staff was very friendly, check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was amazing and def worth the extra cost. Front desk arranged for a taxi for the airport which was very convenient. 2 suggestions would be a fully enclosed shower door, kind of weird that it’s only a half glass wall and sprays out during the shower. Also, we were on the 8th floor and alllll night and early morning I heard loud thumping...

Comfortable. Only for Muslim travellers, not many halal food available except bread
Room has a old school feel. Bed was comfortable but the room had a smell which was due to all the closed window. That wasn't too bad. Air con was ok. Overall no major issues and had trouble free experience
Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, big and clean bedroom and bathroom. Really great breakfast. The only downside is that the bus/tram station is a little bit far from the hotel. Not a problem if it's not raining.

Very nice hotel, very polite people, excellent location nearby tram stations to Venice and Mestre train station. I strongly recommend this hotel.
We stayed at Hotel Venezia for a few nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent – very central and convenient for exploring the city on foot. Great stay staffs were super friendly. It is also easy reachable to go to Venice by bus just right in front of the hotel
We stayed at this hotel knowing we would go out to the islands of Venice. We talked to the hotel desk about going to Venice. They advised us that they sell a $25 bus ticket that takes you out and returns you right in front of the hotel. We took that as an option and it worked out really well for us. Food in the hotel was good was a nice restaurant and a bar and we appreciated both.
Very convenient location only a small bus ride away to Venice. Bus stops right at the hotel! Room (612) was spacious and clean but could use some robes and slippers. Not sure why I had to call reception to heat up the room and was a bit surprised when I called reception to clean leftover food but they never showed up. But overall a descent hotel with a very good breakfast
The hotel offers easy access to Venice, with a bus stop conveniently located right in front. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was average—not particularly good or bad. The rooms were comfortable, but the sound isolation wasn't great. The hotel is quite new but a bit out of the way. It's quite far from the station, about 4 kilometers. If it's your first time here and you're not familiar with public transport, it can be a bit confusing. Uber rides are super expensive in this area. Once you get familiar with the bus routes, it's manageable, and the bus service nearby is actually quite fast.
fantastic experience ! everything was perfect
I overlooked the room size when booking; the photos made it appear quite large, but a 22 sq m room with a sofa bed felt incredibly cramped. It's located in a suburban area with an Aldi supermarket nearby, which is convenient if you're driving. The Ctrip booking indicated breakfast for two, but since our room was reserved for three people, they provided three portions. Breakfast finishes quite early...
Overall, I'd say it was just average. The facilities were decent, but the location is quite remote. You'll need a taxi to get to the city center, and there are no restaurants nearby. On the bright side, the room itself was relatively new and clean.
15 minutes walking distance from the train station (to the train that takes you to Venice). Room is fairly comfortable. Food is lovely (standard voco). Maybe in case of large groups staying the F&B department could organise a separate seated section (as 2 mornings out of 3 they are run out cups, food).
The overall atmosphere is quite pleasant, and the price is reasonable. I often choose to stay here when I'm on a business trip. The rooms are good, and it's only about a 30-minute drive to Venice. If you're on a budget, this place is a solid option. The service is also pretty good.

Average stay, room for improvement The stay was okay overall, but it didn’t fully meet my expectations. One major inconvenience was the lack of parking

The hotel isn't categorized as a 4-star hotel, as the travel company I booked told me. It would be a 3-star hotel, with standard rooms, no problems. The hotel is very old, the rooms, the bathrooms, all. It is not a 4 star hotel, I would give it 2 stars. At some point of the night, the lights went out but they fixed it in about 15 minutes. The breakfast was very good and tasty, although not varied. For my surprise, the room was cozy and there was a very comfy bed. There was also a fridge, which is always a plus.

I like this hostel. The dorm bed and bathroom is clean and acceptable. There is kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. There is a bar on the lobby if u want a drink. The location is convenient for taking a bus to Venice. It is just 10mins walk. It is a fair option for solo traveller that want to avoid expensive housing at Venice.
The 6 bed room is worse than the 8 bed room I stayed before. The power outlet doesn’t work and I couldn’t charge my phone. There are some beds have similar issues. There is nothing to hold your small stuff in your bed.

The property is well connected to both Venice city center and Mestre. A clean and comfortable hotel. I would repeat the experience
A good option for visiting Venice. The tram station is 3 minutes away, and from there you'll be in Piazzale Roma in less than 15 minutes (tram service every 10 minutes). Decent breakfast.
Everything was good. The staff's behavior was excellent, the breakfast, services, and the warmth of the room were all great. Everything was good, except there was no trash bin in the room itself.
The hotel is wonderful: I liked absolutely everything. Breakfasts are very varied and delicious, the linen is snow-white, the location is convenient (20 minutes to Venice by bus). We recommend!!!
The shower stall did not close, the shower leaked from all the cracks, at 8:40 in the morning, for some reason, housekeeping started banging into the room and woke me up. The breakfast was good, I slept well, it was quiet. I turned off the ventilation because it was making a lot of noise and opened the window. In hot weather this can be a problem.
Because I was considering the time to visit the main island, I finally chose to stay here. To be honest, it was far different from what I imagined. The bed can only sleep me alone. The only consolation is that it has all the facilities that a hotel should have. The breakfast is very rich and more cost-effective than in Rome.
