Hotel Tre Archi in Venice

12 minutes to the train station if walking which was handy. Staff were generally okay, depending who you dealt with. Our room was clean, quiet, large, ample cupboard space and had a fridge. The bed was comfortable, good blockout blinds.

The lift was extremely slow, felt like you were not moving and it was so noisy, it was faster to take the stairs and we were staying on the top floor, which made it very hard to get bags up and down there.

The room was very basic, provided a fridge, minimal toiletries and 2 single use plastic cups in the bathroom. It would have been really nice to have a kettle in the room especially the cooler months of the year, and bare minimum some reusable ceramic cups for tea, coffee etc.

The shower did not close properly, it was like a glass panel was missing and the water was spilling over the floor.

The breakfast was passable, very basic but lots of cereal options.

We have stayed in 3 star hotels around Europe for the last few weeks and this was by far the most disappointing. We personally would not go back here unless the hotel improved the visitor experience.

With one or two exceptions the staff was not helpful or pleasant at all and in one specific case, the "morning manager" was extremely hostile and aggressive. The location is very poor being far away from the sites a tourist would normally visit and there is nothing much worth seeing or going to nearby. While there is a vaporetto stop outside the hotel, to get to the Grand Canal where most of the tourists sites and tourist activity are located, you have to change vaporettos at the train station stop..always very time consuming and very crowded. I would have left before my 9 night booking was completed but they collect all the money for the entire stay the minute you arrive and I was stuck there. I would not suggest anyone stay at Hotel Tre Arche.

We checked in today for 2 nights, arriving around 11:30 PM. The front desk staff was extremely slow and unhelpful. Several basic amenities were missing: no complimentary water (everything must be purchased), the AC is controlled by the front desk and the room was uncomfortably hot (26°C), and the service phone in the room didn’t even work. The small locker provided was also broken.

I have a 2-year-old child who couldn’t sleep the whole night because of the heat, and whenever I asked the front desk for help, the only answer I got was, “It will be done tomorrow.” If nothing can be done at night, why have staff at the front desk?

The only positives are the location and the nice interior, but overall, this was a very disappointing first experience in Venice. Definitely not worth it.

Our stay at Hotel Tre Archi was disappointing overall. Rooms were clean and quite vintage looking. Bathroom was modern. There was a little bar fridge hidden inside a cupboard in the room which was not operating. No coffee or tea facilities in the room either. Breakfast was standard, and not much gluten free options were available. Fresh fruit would have been ideal rather than canned. No milk options either. Only full cream. The experience was overshadowed by the extremely rude, arrogant and discrimination behaviour we encountered at the reception during check-in. Additionally, the lift was out of service, which was a major blow as we were left to carry our luggage up to the second and third floor with little to no assistance offered. The only positive was the location - right next to the water taxi station and about a 15–17 minute walk to the main train station. Unfortunately, we would not recommend staying here due to the poor service and lack of basic hospitality.

We had a vacation planned.
We booked hotel timely Tre Archi through booking.com.
Everything was in order and the reservation was accepted, but 3 days before the start of the trip via the booking platform, the hotel Tre Archi canceled the reservation on the grounds that It did not like the payment card, another card was changed, but there was no answer.
We tried to write a message to the hotel via booking and to the official e-mail, we did not get any answer, we tried to call their hotel, they never picked up the phone. In the end I had to look for expensive hotels at the last minute. Real zero communication, can't solve problematic situations, just ignores, would not recommend anyone to go to this place if it is not paid immediately (but there is no possibility to pay immediately via the Internet)

The location of the hotel is nice.
Except the cappuccino, the breakfast was not very good. The AC was out of order, there was water running out of the sink and the water won't drain out of the sink of the bidet. Last but not least, the isolation of the building is so bad, that you can hear each move of the room neighbors.
