Grand Hotel Liberty in Riva del Garda

5 stars even without taking advantage of the spa! The staff was very kind and professional, the breakfast was good with a nice outdoor seating area, decently-equipped gym for a hotel. Though we could hear street noise during the day, it was quiet at night.

My partner and I stayed in one of the executive suites, and we loved the room. The historic-looking decor is very cool, and the room was spacious and comfortable. We were sad to leave!

Overall we felt this hotel was a great value for the price and would easily recommend it!

Rooms are good, need a bit of TLC in a few areas. Restaurant dinners are simply on another level, incredible. Breakfast is ok.

The hotel is beautiful and right the middle of everything, short walk to local supermarket. However, it's the staff tjat made this place memorable to us.

Everyone was so accommodating, friendly, and so happy to help. Our Italian is awful but many of the staff are English speaking and we're every happy to assist us, even helped properly pronounce Italian words.

While they have AC in rooms, it can't always be switched on. However, the large windows that opened brought crisp air right from the lake directly into room.

Breakfast was delicious and love the staff remembering us and making sure we had our same seats and joking with us all the time.

We were not able to enjoy the spa unfortunately but heard others mention how Greta the turkish bath was.

Do know, the beds and pillows are firm but still offered a great night of sleep. Very hot rainfall shower heads. If we make it back to Riva from the US, we will definetly stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights in a superior double room. The hotel is within walking distance of the historic downtown and the ferry terminal. A bus stop is located right in front of the hotel, with connections to Rovereto train station, Torbole, and other nearby towns. There’s also a supermarket just across the street, which is very convenient.

The included breakfast is excellent, and overall the hotel offers great value.

There are a few minor drawbacks. While the room is spacious, it doesn’t have enough lighting—only two basic bedside lamps and a small chandelier. The shower cabin is very compact, similar to what you’d find on a cruise ship. We requested shampoo from the front desk, and they provided it promptly, but the bathroom lacked tissue paper, which the hotel doesn’t stock. It wasn’t a big issue, as we bought inexpensive napkins from the supermarket nearby.

Additionally, there’s no kettle or tea bags in the room, and tea is not included in the breakfast selection. We noticed some guests requested it, but we chose not to.

A place with a nice pool, and parking, just. Best be good at your parking skills 😄

We got the same room for the second year in a row. Overall, everything is fine. However, a few remarks: when going to the shower, there are puddles around because it’s not sealed properly. It would also be nice to have at least a kettle in the room with some cups and complimentary water.

Very nice hotel with a luxury feel. Central location, but quiet. Nice pool with a great view of the mountains. Parking right at the hotel. Exceptional service, very clean all around.

After staying for a few days, I changed the best hotel among 3 hotels. Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night and left early the next morning. I told the front desk that they had prepared breakfast in advance. It was quite good.

The minute you arrive in this stunning hotel you feel comfortable, it is truly magnificent and the inside is in keeping with the outside. The welcome from the truly lovely staff on reception is heart warming & sincere. (It was like this throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble) The hotel is ideally situated to the beautiful town of Riva, making it ideal for people with disabilities too. There is a lift to reception if stairs are a problem. Our room was lovely with a pool view, very peaceful although we overlooked the pool. The room catered for all our needs & plenty of space in a seperate small room for clothes & bags etc. Our daily room service was first class, "Innis you are a star" 1st class care, thank you. The food was amazing, beautifully presented & fine quality food & wine. Maurizio & Monica you shine, you work so hard & always with your guests in mind. Thank you for the care & kindness. The indoor pool & beauty area is wonderful, quiet, calm & relaxing space. The best indoor pool we have ever been to, exceptionally clean & with great comfortable loungers. I would highly reccommend this stylish hotel that exudes great charm. Thank you everyone, you are a fine example of aiming to be the best. X
