Dante Rooms

The location is pretty nice and close by everything.
The place is pretty, modern and clean. However I have to say that I would have expected something more considering the price I paid. (122,6€ per night excluding the tourist tax and in low season). Here my reasons:
The rooms have a lot of things that are broken or not work:
-Fridge is not working
-words on the walls are falling apart
-few spotlights are not working. When I arrived i asked to replace the one in the room as it is super annoying. Unfortunately they didn't do it
-hairdryer is falling apart from the wall and it's a bit scary as it doesn't look safe at all
-button to switch from shower to hand shower is not there
-there is only bodywash, the space for the shower has been left empty
-the water of the shower takes several minutes to get warm generating a huge waste of water
-the wall of the shower is too short and therefore the water goes all out making the floor of the bathroom all very wet.
-there is not cleaning during your staying.
-there is only one kettle to be shared within every guest
-there is not the espresso machine nor the microwave that you see in the pictures
-the cups for the tea are just simple cheap plastic glasses which are not suitable for drinking hot tea
The rooms are at the third floor and the stairs are not comfortable at all as they are very steep and there is no elevator.
I have been here with a toddler and an infant. Carrying them up with the strollers has been absolutely a challenge if you consider that you have to add the luggages. I understand that this is a feature impossible to improve as it is an old building however I think I should mention it in my review.
I understand that these are all details and I don't want to sound too picky, but for 122€ per night all these details should be taken care.

The rooms are in good condition, well maintained, attention for details and the air condition works perfect. 5 stars for that. Ylenia also gave good local recommendations of Italian restaurants which were excellent

However, the room is not accessible easily as it has no elevator . It takes 3 floors of stairs(5 stairs) to climb to reach the rooms and is Not suitable for elderly or if you come with large luggage. This should be clearly advertised. The location near metro Dante is not the most clean or tourist friendly neighborhood in the night. The entrance to the building is a bit chaotic.

Things that need to improve
- when asked for extra duvet or towels, they said there is no extra duet and for towel we were asked to pay €2,50 for each which is a bit weird.
- checkout time of 10am is way too early than other hotels. when we said that we will be 10 minutes late, the tone of the voice was rude saying “but not more then 10 mins”. There was no guests waiting and housekeeping was not at sight so didn’t understand staff was so in polite about not allowing extra time to check out.
- there is only 1 water kettle Shared between 5 rooms kept in the common area
-There was no proper cups for drinking tea(plastic). No cutlery either
