5 star hotels in Naples

The interior design is not my style, but it is very personal. The rooms are very good, the location perfect for walking around the city, and the service perfect. The highlight is the restaurant. Although I have not had the chance to have dinner there, the breakfast and the view are superb.

Excellent hospitality, rooms, and amenities. Very modern. Great location too - near the city center and the port (from where you can leave for Capri and Amalfi). Overall I had a great stay and highly recommend.

Wonderful staff that went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel safe, special, and welcomed. Everyone from the front desk, housekeepers and especially the guys serving in the downstairs hotel bar were wonderful. Would recommend if you needed to stay in Naples. This hotel is amazing and would have been worth every penny IF the place hadn’t been under construction. The rooftop pool and restaurant were closed for renovations, plus there was a giant crane in front of my window. The service here is absolutely incredible. The rooms are just ok. They have automated shades and blinds and a panel for the lights but nothing really worked. Couldn’t figure out how to turn off a lamp so I unplugged it. Wine list at the restaurant is extensive but massively overpriced. Very very kind staff though. Breakfast was great.

Only a one night stay but cannot say enough good things about the service and staff at this hotel. We were traveling with 3 kids and everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I only had a drink on the rooftop, and the view is absolutely stunning. The staff were very attentive. I can only imagine the fine dining in the restaurant is exceptional, especially with the head chef being recognized by the Michelin Guide. Enjoy the drinks, food, and view!

Fantastic hotel. We had a beautiful view of the Castello d'Ovo and the bay. The sheets, towels, bathrobes are all first rate. Room was spacious and a nice balcony. Service is the best. They really go out of their way to make the guests feel well cared for. Close enough to the busy old town but also far enough away. Santa Lucia neighborhood is really nice.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Having stayed in 100's of hotels across almost 50 countries, this is by far my favorite. First, the awesome view and location; a close second, the amazing, friendly staff; and third, the history and elegance. Wish I could give it 6 stars!

Not quite 5* as the brochure says, probably 4* however the staff are amazing and really look after you, especially Mario, who is a real asset, its close to most amenities and is affordable, I loved it and would more than likely stay here again if I am in Naples.

Nice stay, welcoming staff and good location. Definitely an old style 4 stars hotel, from the moquette to the ugly elevator to the hairdryers from the 50s... they made an effort to modernise the hall. Other than that big rooms, comfortable and clean.

Really enjoyed our short stay here, staff was very welcoming and overall the hotel was beautiful —our room had two balcony views. We had an early morning flight to catch out of Naples and they scheduled a taxi to pick us up at 3am and had prepared breakfast boxes for us to take when we checked out. Highly recommend.

The hotel room was very nice. No parking at the hotel even having the space for it, you need to park outside and its like 25 per day. The small restaurant inside is not worth it but breakfast is pretty fine. Location is very nice but next time I will stay more in the old town center.

The hotel is located on the port which is super safe and a meter away from the ferries to go to the different island around. After spending 8 nights in a very mediocre hotel in another Italian city, this hotel was a delightfully positive contrast. Fresh and modern, good size room and bathroom, great location and breakfast. We stayed here in March. Friendly service, great location. The rooms and view makes you feel like a vip. Walk through the hotel, you'll get lost but you'll see wonderful pieces of the buildings history. If I have to make a point of criticism, breakfast could be better. But then again, if you look outside of the breakfast room, all is forgotten.

Excellent hotel and great staff who are really accommodating. The room is clean everyday by housekeeping. The only thing that was annoying was that I had no internet in my room or the whole floor for that matter which has been broken for 5 nights which was my entire stay. Beautiful hotel on top of Naples. Steep walk to town but the view of the harbor from our upgraded hotel suite was lovely. This was a former convent and the place is full of little clues if you walk around the building. In my opinion this is not 4 star hotel but 3 plus. If you travel a lot you will see the difference. Very very nice hotel staff. The hotel room is modern, recently renovated with a very big TV. Lovely boutique hotel right in the centre of the old town in Naples so perfectly located for exploring narrow cobbled streets, museums, finding Italian food. We received a warm welcome from helpful staff. The roof terrace has great views over Naples, out to Vesuvius and across the bay.

We took a room with a view of the Vesuvius and it was definitely worth the money. The concierge were all helpful even though most of them struggled with English. The breakfast spread was pretty standard, but the coffee was good. Convenient location to the airport, but not much else to see or do. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. The pool area is nice, and the the hotel seems safe and secure.

For a Covid work trip, this hotel did a decent job providing a safe environment. My only complaints: the bizarre arrangement of electrical sockets in the room, with inadequate reading light for the bed, and the bathroom hosted some bad smell from the sink drain, periodically. Also, make sure you don't require laundry service. The neighborhood has none and the local delivery laundry charges by the item...

An old fashion hotel but everything's work here. Good location near to the centre and to the sea. Would appreciate it more when they provide their guests with water cooker, instant coffee, tea and complimentary water ... And I don't think that I'm asking too much since it's a 4 stars hotel

Very old unreserved hotel. The rooms look nothing like the pictures, not even close, rooms feel "cheap". The price is fair and the location is good though

Great value for money! Good clean rooms, excellent breakfast, good restaurant and the staff are fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. The only down side is the proximity to town centre. But again the staff were quick to get taxis on demand. Super friendly. Would definitely stay there again. Sadly never got to experience the roof top garden - it was February and cold.

Stayed here with 55 of my classmates for three nights. They provided everything we needed, and the breakfast was a very welcome addition. It was clean, the staff was kind, and it came at a price us college students could afford.

Rooms ok , you can go on the roof top to chill and drink. You can even call them and deliver food and drink to you up there. Good restaurant right across the street

A very pleasant hotel, not that it responds to its four stars, but still charming. OT has fantastic roof terrace overlooking the botanical garden and the boulevard. And very nice sugar croissants for breakfast, as well as fantastic bread and mortadella. Negatives they don't let outside visitors to the roof terrace, so one can't show it to one's friends ..

We stayed in the tower b&b behind this hotel. The views of Naples from this place are excellent.

Enjoyed spacious, cool room. Food was delicious. Views from the roof terrace amazing. Would have given 5 stars except it felt like it was only just open for business. Seats outside were dirty. No sun shades were open. Seemed to have a shortage of ice. Local area was a little intimidating. Would recommend though.

The hotel itself is okay, perhaps 3 star will be more aligned with the amenities and overall quality. On the positive side, the rooms are spacious and tidy. On the negative side, breakfast is quite simple, and the service could be friendlier. But the worst aspect is the location, too far away from the city centre.

We stayed here prior to flying from Naples Airport. Immaculately clean if a little dated. Staff were excellent and we enjoyed a great meal in the restaurant

We had lovely service from both the from desk staff and the wait staff. The front desk called us a taxi whenever we needed; our breakfast was delicious every morning and the seating area was so quaint and lovely. We were here March 2020 before covid forced everyone home. Very nice boutique hotel on the main promenade. Really nicely decorated with a movie theme. Room very nice, comfortable and clean. The staff very friendly, polite and helpful. We were made very welcome. Very near lots of bars and restaurants. We decided to stay here rather than the city centre and a good choice. Good bus service into city if needed. We walked it in 40 minutes.

Not a bad hotel, but it is not in the same level of others 4 stars boutique hotel in Italy. It is a decent 3 star small hotel. We paid US$ 700 for 4 nights in a room looking a Internal square here, for US$ 740 we could stay at the Excelsior that is a lot nicer and better located.

I have to be honest, I read some reviews and I thought: 'What have we gotten ourselves into?'. After the stressful introduction to Napolitan traffic we found the hotel, which is indeed literally next to a busy road, no pavement in between, and checked in. Our room was enormous, with good air-conditioning, a big bed and enough space to relax or play games. Francesco from reception was incredibly helpful...

Visited here for the start of an interrail trip round various cities in Italy, by far the best! Breakfast was absolutely fabulous, lots of options to choose from, even had soya milk along with 2 other types of milk! Lots of fruit on offer and even fresh honeycomb! Staff were very friendly and helpful, big clean room with high ceilings, big en suite bathroom and good aircon! Only problem was the hotel...

Location wasn't great without your own transport. It was a fair way in to the centre. The front door opened straight on to a busy road. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable but not special. The bar was very Fawlty Towers. Excellent breakfast selection including SOYA MILK!!

Fantastic helpful staff - Franchesco was the best. Room was adequet just a bit anoyed by the permanent green light ( fire alarm?) above the bed other than that 4 star ?.
