We flew to Florence for a honeymoon without reservations anywhere and we stumbled into this hotel and was immediately greeted with smiles and warmth. They couldn’t have been more accommodating to us during our stay.
Every staff member in the hotel was engaging, positive, and helpful. Habiba ran breakfast in the morning and was so welcoming and attentive! She is incredible and a huge asset to this establishment. Every morning we dined in for breakfast she greeted us with smiles, remembered our coffee orders, and made us feel very welcome. The concierge team was also top notch and helped us with anything we needed for getting around town and making dinner reservations. Laura and Vittoria are amazing and went above and beyond for us. I was so impressed with the rooms and the sound dampening quality of the new windows installed. The sounds of the busy streets below just disappear. This place is in a great location in the middle of everything two blows from the duomo and two block to the palazzo vecchio.
I would recommend this place to any traveler to the area and we will be back for sure! Thank you for making our honeymoon truly amazing !

Great hotel! We got there and were greeted with a Mimosa social hour they have most days around 5pm. The front customer service was exceptional. Very friendly staff and cleaners. I seldomly sleep well while traveling. But the beds were perfect and I slept so cozy. My back didn’t hurt. The breakfast was my favorite! The croissant quality was perfection. They were warm and layered. I’m currently in Rome and the missing the breakfast from this hotel. They make cappuccino and lattes. They even had Chia seeds for your granola. Oh I love the yogurt too. So creamy! And why not have another mimosa. The pastries were good but not my favorite. I’m still dreaming of the plain croissants here. The staff were quick to replace items. The hotel is city center and we walked to most museums. We loved Florence!

Spent few days here with my family, absolutely enjoyed the stay.
Staff very friendly and helpful, shout to Vittoria; rooms are clean and the view is breathtaking.
Not to mention the breakfast that is one of the best ever.

We booked this room because it was listed as looking onto Florence's Piazza della Repubblica, but out the other window we also had an amazing view of the Duomo and Giotto's Bell Tower! What a bonus for us! This hotel is a boutique gem located in the center of historic Florence: it's perfected situated between Piazza della Signoria/Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo. Easy walk to all the sites in Florence. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and with a friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. I have been lucky enough to stay here three times and I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel. Right in the heart of Florence. Only a 3 min walk to the Duomo & in a very safe neighborhood. Breakfast was great with lots to choose from. Even hot scrambled eggs, bacon & breakfast sausage! Wonderful spread. Bed linens were luxurious. Every night a chocolate on pillow & floor towel with slippers laid out. Class act. Hotel has clearly been updated. Elevator is newer & able to hold more than 2 people. Rooms are small but well appointed. What rooms in Italy are spacious anyway? Staff was very friendly & helpful. I think the price was right in line with other hotels in the area. No the most expensive & not the cheapest. You get what you pay for! Stop your search & stay here!

The hotel is located in the city center, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Our room was cleaned thoroughly, and the housekeeping maintained a high standard throughout our stay.
Breakfast is included in the price, with a decent variety of options. The staff were also kind enough to offer espresso or cappuccino, as the buffet only serves filter coffee. It was a nice touch to receive a welcome drink upon arrival.
The price was reasonable for both the hotel and its central location (we visited in August).
The only downside is that getting to the hotel by car can be tricky. The streets around are crowded with pedestrians, so you have to drive very slowly and carefully—it can be a bit stressful.
I would recommend this hotel for travelers without a car. I’m not deducting a star, as the pedestrian traffic is obviously not the hotel’s fault. 🙂
The staff at the reception kindly park your car in the hotel’s parking area if you manage to arrive safely 😅

We stayed in seven hotels during this trip to Europe, and this was a four-star hotel. Apart from the great location, other aspects are really average, especially in terms of cleanliness which needs improvement. There was hair from the previous guest on the new towels, the heating control in the room was broken, and there were other hygiene issues. I asked to change rooms. After I reported it the next day, the hotel agreed to help me move from the first floor to the second floor.
Breakfast was advertised to start at 7, but much of the food was not ready at 7. The staff was in a rush, busying themselves with serving the guests who showed up on time for dinner and putting the food out. After staying for four days and three nights, I saw on the second morning that the restaurant staff were not wearing gloves. They just grabbed the uneaten bread of the previous customer with their hands and threw it into the bread basket on the shelf. Seeing this, I was very disappointed with the staff training and hygiene standards of this 4-star hotel. I didn’t want to eat bread for the following breakfast, for fear that I would eat the bread that the previous guest had not finished and had put back into the bread basket. 🤮🤢
