Truly a top notch hotel. Fantastic location, well appointed rooms, amazing breakfast spread and excellent concierge service. When we checked in I realized that I had left my phone in our taxi. Dimitri called the two cab companies in Florence to help me retrieve it. I would stay here again, definitely.

Hotel is a brilliant location for everything you want to do in Florence. The staff are so helpful and will accommodate your every need. Rooms were very clean and breakfast was delicious every morning. Really impressed and would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Florence.

Stayed with my wife for our honeymoon. Hotel staff were brilliant, and left a nice honeymoon gift on the room too. The bed was probably the best one I've ever slept on when away from home, and the location is very central.

I didn’t stay here but just wanted to publicly express my gratitude to the lovely hotel staff. My one year old had a massive 20 minute tantrum in front of the Chiesa dei Santi Apostoli, which was across the piazza from the hotel. One of the hotel staff came out and tried to help us by offering her some juice. They also kindly allowed us to sit in the hotel lobby to give her a quiet place to calm down and offered to call us a cab to our next destination. Very grateful for their kindness when we weren’t even guests.

This hotel is stunning! Art lines the hallways, and even the bathrooms feel like historical, artful design. The front desk staff was accommodating and courteous, and the breakfast buffet is delicious. The air conditioning in the room never quite got cool enough for us, but we're American, so we knew what to expect. (Bring a fan!) Overall, a beautiful spot in an ideal location along the river and near historical Firenze town squares, streets, and restaurants.

Excellent location for a first-time stay in Florence. An 11-minute walk from the train station and close to major attractions on either side of the river. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was impeccable and breakfast was plentiful. I met some businessmen who have been staying here twice a year for 20+ years, and I can see why. Will stay again.

This is an excellent hotel, conveniently located next to the Ponte Vecchio and the Arno River. My room was very comfortable, impeccably maintained, and exceptionally clean. The staff at reception and during breakfast are both friendly and professional. The breakfast itself is simply wonderful. Housekeeping does a fantastic job of tidying up the room every day. Having traveled extensively for both business and leisure, I can confidently say that Hotel Berchielli is an outstanding place to stay.

The best hotel of our entire 2 week Italy trip!!! We arrived before check-in time and were told that our room was ready. On top of that, we were upgraded for free to a room with a superb view of the Ponte Vecchio!!! The bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. The best thing about this hotel was the buffet breakfast spread! The staff were extremely sweet and friendly and professional. The spread included a wide variety of breads, pastries, cold cuts and fruits which were all delicious. The cutest thing was our names written on top our coffees. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The personalized cappuccinos during breakfast were a delightful surprise! With our room number they got our names to find them on the capuccinos at the table after picking up our breakfast from the buffet.
