Very nice hotel, good breakfast (including savory food) and very friendly staff. Andreas in particular was brilliant and he provided a shuttle service for a fair fee. Would have been nice to have a shorter walk into the old town from the hotel as quite a long detour walk (very scenic and beautiful though) had to be taken each day as public busses were not at all reliable. Definitely recommend the hotel...

This is a lovely family hotel surrounded by vineyards and amazing views. It is tranquil, bus stop right outside so we could reach it without a car. The staff is amazing! Everyone were so kind, especially the owner Donatella. We specifically enjoyed Nina the dog as well ☺️ We had wine tasting in the hotel, strolled around the vineyards and received explanations from Donatella, the wine was delicious...

We spent two nights there, the rooms are ok, breakfast can be better, nice small pool, kind staff, and close to the San Gimignano.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Free buffet breakfast was excelllent. I love the coffee too! Nice size private terrace.

Very professional and helpful staff. The room we stayed in was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was delicious. If you're arriving with a car, there are more than enough parking spaces. On the other hand, I really hope that the owner will change all the room doors because the noise they're making is unbearable. For anyone with poor fitness skills, I don't recommend going to San Gimignano on foot...

Superb camp site, very modern and clean facilities, easy to reach and taxi even for big or bulky RVs. Some more accurate information about restaurant opening hours should be published (info at shower facility is different from reception, is different from restaurant entrance, is different from what people tell you, is different from what waiting staff tell you...). Great camping grounds. Had cabins, which we used. Very comfortable with small kitchen and fridge/stove. A couple of minutes to San Gimignano is just great.

They will charge for everything, starting from towels, AR conditioning and the "free" pool requires you to wear a cap (which they sell you for 2,5 eu). The cabin is very noisy

Camping with mobil homes well oriented in the shade (appreciated due to the temperatures). Some mobil homes will deserve to be replaced (not really optimized in terms of space). The location close to San Gimignano is à must !! A bus station in front of the camping avoid to search à parking place.

Definitely the most expensive camping that I met during my 3-weeks trip around Italy. And the value for money is really poor. Of course, the camping is well located and with pretty surroundings of nature, but toilets are not very well organised and far from some pitches. In May, swimming pool was closed as well as one of the toilets.

Such a nice breakfast out on the patio. Quiet, peaceful. Took a dip in the pool which is gorgeous.. unfortunately weather not super warm during our visit but still enjoyed a refreshing dip! Loved our hike to SanGimingnano. Be aware that this is kind of a remote property, but it is beautiful and peaceful. Its up a windy dirt road. We stayed for dinner two nights and enjoyed the property and hiking....

The property was AMAZING and the 5 course dinner they serve was even better!!! The natural beauty of this place is indescribable, and the food and wine was an experience my wife and I will never forget. If we are ever blessed enough to be able to come back , we will. An amazing stay, we could not have asked for a better experience. Great location for exploring the hill towns. The staff and property were amazing. Enjoying an authentic experience in the country side was perfect. Our teenage daughter thought this was our best stay of our 15 night France and Italy adventure.

We happened here by chance and found hospitality and courtesy from the staff. The apartment we were assigned was clean and spacious, beds with comfortable mattresses, a beautiful swimming pool available which enjoyed a fantastic view. A perfect place to relax and to visit this part of Tuscany.

One of the best Tuscany vineyards you can stay on. Panoramic views of grapes vines, olive trees, sun and rolling countryside hills! It is better than the photos. I really recommend this winery as a good place as a base to stay and tour around Tuscany.

Very nice little place in the tuscany country with magnificient views nearby San Gimignano. Different beautiful options to walk to San Gimignano. Very nice host who knows the environment, makes and sells excellent wine. Breakfast not included but for 3 euro we had a delicious Breakfast with homemade jams, cake, sweets. We loved the place.

Absolutely wonderful vacation here! I stay here for a week. It's a short walk to San Gimignano. I would easily go there again. The hosts were wonderfully delightful and very helpful. Attached is a photo from above the hill behind the apartment.

Our stay at Mormoraia was truly unforgettable. Our patio and room faced the city of San Gimignano and it was breathtaking. The food was incredible (the truffle pasta was my go-to each night). We did the lunch + wine tasting and were so glad we decided to do it. I cannot recommend Mormoraia enough - we will definitely be back!

It is a beautiful property, but unfortunately we didn’t feel very welcomed by most of the staff. The only person who made us feel truly welcomed was the one who checked us in. During dinner service, the staff seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced, resulting in long wait times and a lack of warmth. Because of this, we decided to dine elsewhere after the first night.

The most welcoming hostess on this whole trip!!! When someone is so genuinely nice, it's very hard to find faults in anything. You can not come to San Gimignano and not stay here! This the jewel in the crown of one of the most beautifull places of Tuscany. We stayed 3 nights, il Fienile was our startingpoint for many tuscany attractions, Volterra, Chianti, Monteriggione, Siena….) San Gimignano was my favourite stay in Tuscany. Juts fantastic. We loved this place, Francesca, Mauro and the view to San Gimignano. If we go back we would definitely stay there again. Super kind hosts. Private parking, easy access to the town centre and above all exceptional hospitality by the hosts. That cake made by Francesca's mother was very delicious too.

Staff is good and kind. Though they have another building in the town of sant gimigiano so I recomend you to ask first and check where you will stay, up in the town or down in the countryside building. Staff is very polite and helpful

The location is fantastic right on the piazza, and the views are spectacular. The only drawback is that our rooms were 40 plus stairs up, - -there is no elevator and no help with baggage - -so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue.

Stayed here in July 2021 after staying here back in 2000. My how things have changed. The hotel got an update but it only feels partially done. The location is great, but be aware of the drive to get into the hotel. Amazing view and highly recommend a room with a balcony to enjoy the marvelous views of the Tuscany hillside.

We were so happy that we had booked this hotel for the two nights we stayed in San Gimignano. This is the very best place in town. Of course, you cannot park inside the walls but you can drive to the hotel to drop your things and get checked in, and then park in one of the convenient lots outside the walls. No problem. Great care for the rooms, furnishings and details. Beautiful bathroom and cozy room. Fantastic location, right in the centre. The owner is kind, welcoming and helpful. The only negative note: mattress in very bad condition (the springs looked like they were broken).

We had a wonderful Tuscan holiday here in September 2020. The villa had plenty of room for us, we were very comfortable. The view from the pool is fantastic. We cooked outside almost every night and will never forget our lovely dinners on the veranda at sunset.

Large rooms with a mix of renovated bedrooms and bathrooms the house does suffer from mosquitoes and ants so pack plenty of spray. About a 15/20 minutes drive to the nearest town with a supermarket.
