We recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was a decent experience. The conditions were reasonable—clean and functional, though not quite up to 4-star standards. The staff was friendly, and the amenities were sufficient for a comfortable stay. However, one issue dampened the experience: there were ants in the room. This is definitely not acceptable and something the hotel management needs to address immediately. Cleanliness and pest control should be a priority in any accommodation. While the stay was generally good, this issue is not OK.

The hotel staff and the transfer driver were absolutely fantastic! They were so kind and helpful to my family and me. I had small kids with me, and the hotel was amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit. You won’t be disappointed!

Very nice place. Not sure if they just renovated or it was always that nice but the landscaping, design and finishes of the hotel is beautiful. Room was very nice staff was great from the minute we checked in to when we checked out. The restaurant/pool bar staff and everyone was awesome. Shuttle service was very convenient driver was great. Would stay again.

The hotel is wonderful and great attentive staff. Our vacation is well spent with peace and tranquility. Its location is excellent and has easy access to the beach. Free shuttle to main station, which is very convenient. The bar pool restaurant is excellent for quick bites near the pool. Dinner at the main restaurant is excellent and service is exceptional!

Coming from America you have to expect things will be different in Europe. I was a little nervous coming here. I am beyond grateful for this trip. First thing the ladies in the front desk were more than helpful. They answered every question without hesitation and even went above and beyond to help us with tours and taxi services.
Yes the A/C isn't the best but the room eventually got cool. The rooms were clean.
The bar staff is my favorite. They were friendly, funny, polite and attentive. They made my stay memorable. The gelato is really amazing. Coffee is the best flavor. The price for food and drinks were wonderful. Compared to what I pay in the US. it is a fraction of the price for food quality liquor.
The restaurant had some of the best food I have had. Seafood is fresh and the pizza is to die for. The staff were great. Now a little bit of a communication barrier will occur. But if you practice some phrases in Italian before you go it will be fine.
The beach is great. It is across the street but it is wonderful.
I overall will miss Italy. Everything was wonderful.

Pros; reasonable pricing for area. Clean. Tennis court is good. Restaurant is nice and good price. Nice beach across the road.
Cons;
No towels for the beach or pool - have to use bath towels.
I would avoid if you don't want to be trapped in the hotel without paying expensive taxis. When booking I checked with hotel they said they would arrange pick up and drop off to station. The reality is we had to wait 2 hours to be picked up and have to be dropped off 2 hours before our train to go back other wise pay 40 euros. When it's only a 15-20 min drive. It's not the end of world but would prefer to not be lead to believe something otherwise
They advertise a gym - which they don't have.
Our tv was broken as the wire doesn't work and luckily we did manage to fix it but before then we were told we'd just have to wait until the next day - were only here 3 days.

The most beautiful hotel nearby Salerno! Amazing food ,swiming pool,staff rooms and pool bar!

I’m in my second day at Hotel Olimpico.
Hotel ground, reception, room... are very well updated and kept.
Room are good for 2 but small for familles.
However the food is average (presentation very nice taste Ok) so far and the length of service is very very long. Our last diner lasted a litle over 2 hours for 3 courses that never arrived at the same time for the family. For adults it can be manageable but with kids impossible to manage.
I’m happy tu update my review as we have 4 night left and we would enjoy some improvements.

Great and pleasant staff however they do not take pride at making coffee at the morning or simply not trained, pitty as they got all the right gear, breakfast is ok and accommodate gluten free ( you'll need to ask for the bread ? ), we booked this hotel as it offered a balcony as we like to have our morning coffee that way but when we arrived we were informed that this is not the case so verify prior to arrival and get it in writing just in case, our mattress was broken and they ' fixed' it by turning it over which didn't help
