The most terrible experience. The service was horrendous. After a long trip from the airport to the hotel, we had to climb with all our luggage, what felt like a billion stairs before we got to the hotel. We check in, expecting to go to our room to shower and rest, turns out there is no electricity. They ask us to hang out at the bar and have a drink until they fix the problem. Mind you, it was 11pm and the room was not ready. You would think that because they asked us to have a drink at the bar and the room was not ready at 11pm, that the drinks would at least be complimentary. It is the very least they can do for the inconvenience. It was not. Most reputable and respectable institutions would make an effort to at least remedy the situation. Poor hospitality. It felt as though they were trying to milk us for as much as they could, since we were tourists. For $500 a night you would expect top notch service. We did not experience great service and hospitality. Spend your money elsewhere.

This place was magical. The staff there were excellent, especially Ariana at reception. She was so polite and very helpful and very friendly. A very special person indeed. Would recommend this hotel to everyone

We dropped post cards at the front desk, already stamped, with the promise that they will take care of mailing them. They never did.
Post card stamps in Italy have tracking numbers and we can see that none of them made it to the sorting station at the post office.

It doesn’t matter how good of an hotel you are and how hard your employees try to make people enjoy their stay. If you fail to deliver on the most basic promise, aka “we will mail your post card”, you deserve one star.

IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A RELAXING TIME, STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!

This "great" hotel has a wedding party of approximately 100 people with really loud music, deep bass, dancing and screaming right outside of our room in the middle of the night!

I asked at the check-in desk at 10:50pm when this was going to stop, and the receptionist replied with; "it will be over in an hour"

It is 11:10pm and WE CANNOT GET ANY SLEEP.

TERRIBLE HOTEL!!!

The property is absolutely gorgeous. The staff are amazing! They made our stay just wonderful. My daughter got married in Positano. We didn’t tell the staff, but they figured it out and were so accommodating and helpful to all our needs. So grateful!

Beautiful property, attentive staff and a great restaurant/bar. The view from the restaurant is incredible- but the “price” of the view is a VERY steep climb. Definitely note that reaching the hotel isn’t easy and involves a pretty steep climb (though that’s common for Positano). This wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be a huge issue for families with small kids or for anyone who wasn’t physically able to tackle A LOT of steep, uneven stairs every time they wanted to come or go from the hotel. The hotel’s location, also, required a 15-minute trek into town to visit the beaches, shops and restaurants. But overall we loved it and we’d happily stay there again on our next trip to Positano.

There’s a lot of stairs and when you arrive the personal doesn’t help you with your luggage and they only said: “are you tired? Why you didn’t took the transport?”

My stay at Conca d’ Oro was absolutely fascinating! The food and drinks were outstanding, with a variety that pleased every palate. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable, and the entire place felt magical, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. Its location near one of the main bus stops made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area, and the stunning views from the property were truly breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious, setting the perfect tone for each day. Overall, a beautiful place that made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!
