Hotel Cavour

We have stayed at the Cavour for the last 6 years usually 3-4 nights . Great hotel the staff is amazing. Federica has been most helpful over the years. The 2 men who serve breakfast make great eggs and the selection for breakfast is always good. We live 30 kms from Rieti and come to town for events and movies. The Cavour has always been able to find us a room. This is a prime location for the events in Rieti and a great base to explore the area. Rive gauche a bar next to the Cavour has plenty of tables and a craft beer collection. So many good restaurants within a few blocks and 2 gelato places that have a good selection. Rieti is a 1 hour train ride from rome with a change of trains in Terni. The town is worth a day or 3 .

My husband and I visited this hotel Sept 2021 whilst doing the Via Francesco. The hotel had everything we needed. It was positioned very nicely overlooking the river and there wasn't far to go for the bars, cafe's and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very courteous, we enjoyed breakfast very much and there was plenty of choice.

Such a lovely hotel on the river bank of Rieti. The staff is friendly & sweet. The Hotel rooms are spacious & very clean specially during these covid-19 times. The neighbourhood is very scenic with lots of bars & good restaurants just located down the hotel. We loved our short stay at hotel Cavour & looking forward to return soon :)

Hotel Cavour is a "real" 4* Hotel with wide contemporary rooms that looks like having been recently refurbished.
I have upgraded "on site" my room to a 3rd floor River-View one and did not regret the small price different.

The view of the town and the Velino river is pleasant, and also being able to see the river from the bed gave an extra sense of comfort. Noise isolation from outside is great, especially against the square noise on the back of the hotel.

During my stay in Jan 2021 the breakfast was a little bit "basic" which is ok in coronavirus times.

Clean and friendly place near the city center, just across tge river, nice view from the balcony, good breakfast with a choice of cereals, sweets old cold cuts, nothing amazing bur definitely good value for money (55€/night)

Rooms are recently renewed, nice and there's a wonderful view. Too much noise in weekend evenings, but we were advised about it and we could choose a different room when we booked.
