Reviews
The breakfast was very good with a great variety of fresh options to choose from, and bedrooms were spacious, clean and offered plenty of space to relax.
If you’re looking for an hotel with character, cozy atmosphere and top-notch service, I highly recommend this one. I’ll definitely be back!
I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a 4-star experience, but it was far from it. The rooms had steel furniture and no carpet. It felt more like a budget motel than a supposed 4-star property.
One of the most frustrating things was the complete lack of basic amenities. No kettle, no coffee, no tea—something you would expect at even the most basic hotel, let alone one that calls itself 4-star. When I asked the staff about it, they were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to the lack of service.
The overall service was severely lacking. There was no sense of hospitality, and I had to repeatedly call the front desk for simple things that should have been provided automatically. For a hotel that claims to be 4 stars, the service and facilities were absolutely subpar.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, or even basic amenities. There are much better options out there for the price.
My family and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. One day, when I came back to the hotel, I found my iPad and some cash missing. I informed the front desk of the hotel but they did not take it seriously at all while simply repeating "there was nothing we can do".
I filed the official report with the police but the only thing they did was just saying they would check the surveillance camera installed in the hotel.
It felt creepy and unsafe to stay in the room where anyone could invade, so we asked for room change. However, they did not show any hospitality about this accident, simply repeating we needed to wait till the next morning, the manager came to work.
The most disappointing is their demeanor. They simply raised a bar and emphasized they had no responsibility for the theft. They did not show any willingness to help me and my family with this trouble. Unbelievable, this is the attitude you will be experiencing at the 4-star hotel in Italy!! Also, this hotel is not prepared to protect you from any invasion of the robbers or invaders, since they have only a few surveillance cameras at the main hallway, none at the guest room floors.
I would never recommend this hotel to anybody who would be traveling Rome.
For me, none of the above should qualify as 4star.
Room was big (and double wide balcony). Brighr colour schemes and I appreciated the washroom had an actual propper door. Water pressure and heat are good. First night was bit chilly and the heat didn't seem to be on, but the covers were sufficient; other nights were fine. I didn't notice too much street/other room noise.
The gym is pretty sad: some cardio machines, small dumbell rack that only goes to ~20 lbs, weird cable machines, a few benches, and one barbell with maybe 50 lbs of plates total. Needs improvement, as for now it seems to just exist to check the box on amenities.
Breakfast was okay, but the bacon is pretty undercooked and is super rubbery + greasy.
Staff were good. I got attitude once, but to his credit, I was being stupid and not understanding, so it's fine 😅
We actually really liked our bed (in contrast to other reviews). It was very firm, like our bed at home, and king size. If you like firm mattresses, our room would be suitable for you.
TV was kinda messed up - third party remote where the buttons didn't correspond to the right function, and the infrared remote receive is on THE BACK of the TV, so you have to point the remote at weird places. The signal/picture quality was also bad with constant processing artifacts. But who goes to Rome to watch TV?
Overall we had a good experience, and I was actually surprised to see the poor reviews, which I only just read. Maybe we got lucky, or maybe the hotel has been improving some things incrementally. Your mileage may vary.
