Best Western Blu Hotel Roma

I have to tell you I was so excited to come to Rome. This is like everybody’s dream to come to Rome and experience the beauty here the people here are extremely ignorant very rude not friendly at all. The food sucks and let’s get started about this hotel how rude and ignoring the people here are, we spend the nights without air conditioning and they have an excuse for everything every day Was not willing to accommodate us. My breakfast was not included. Everybody else’s was even though I paid above the normal rate. I had to pay for mine, which I’m fine with, but I was treated very very poorly even in the process of breakfast. These people here are absolutely ridiculous, Outrageous. I know this is everybody’s dream but if I was you, I would stay away, especially this hotel. I am extremely saddened by my experience here. I will be never return nor will I ever refer anyone here…

The checkout experience leaves the final impression on customers. Mr. Mario at the checkout counter needs to be more cordial and patient, even when answering seemingly stupid questions. Those questions don't hurt to have confirmed, and he shouldn't respond with a frown. The little things matter in creating a positive overall experience.

Besides that, the room was ok for the price.

No Water bottle was provided while checking in for the first time .No kettle was provided in the room .They won't even let you collect water at breakfast time in a water bottle also .Room was very average.

Replying to your comments...What about kettle manager?isn't that a basic needs? Can't you even provide a kettle? We know water is in vending machine. But giving water at the time of check-in is a Essential!!! what's the point of running a hotel when u can't even provide basic amenities like kettle or water during Check in time.
Also all hotels would allow to collect water in breakfast time.We are not stealing the food it's just water and its a basic need .Hope you can understand it

It would be best to give zero stars. I made a reservation and cancelled within the free cancellation times and was still charged. I have been trying to get this refunded for over a month and have not received any response from anyone at this hotel to help me with this. Beware the "free cancellation" - they do not offer such a thing, you will still be charged and you won't have any recourse. They will charge you anyway and keep you money and not reply to any attempt at resolution.

I paid extra over the weekend stay approx 100 euros per night however the hotel could not even give a complimentary water bottle even once during my stay there for 3 days.
2.5 euros per bottle if needed, else was asked to fill from the bathroom tap if needed.

Overall average experience. Got some illogical excuses when asked why there is no kettle for boling tea in room, from the staff however I didn't get into arguments for my mental peace during the stay.

All in all, not a bad hotel but not very good as well compared to other hotels of best western around Italy (Genova) and Sweden.

Try for another option near the Roma Termini. Best western Premier.

Updated response: I took the kettle after a lot of request. By default it was not available in the room. Also I paid 100 euros per night, while the usual price was 85-90 euros.
