Very clean pool and surrounding area with flowers, trees and sounds of nature

I particularly enjoyed the heated pool that also goes outdoors, they’re opened till midnight so it’s nice to stargaze while you swim. I would probably come back for the spa but not to stay at the hotel again

We preferred the newer building with a smaller balcony rather than the older side with the larger balcony. Very cordial staff and excellent breakfast. Evening drinks on the terrace was very cozy and romantic

Rooms are dated - rust in the bathroom, still tolerable as you can tell it’s from normal wear and tear. Breakfast is very good but dinner food was unremarkable, I suggest to avoid

Spa is fun, with mint showers, sauna and scented steam rooms. Massage is just average, but they have hammam treatments which is unique (without the foam)

Don’t expect to sit at the pool area at night, you will get wet due to the watering of everything

The best is the pool and the amazing view on the Tuscany countryside. Within a 10 minutes walk you can easily reach the old town

Stayed here last June. Although room a bit small balcony was large with lovely views. Staff were great. Nothing to much trouble. Recommended r. Hope to go back this year.

The bidet is also quite small (but if you aren't Italian, you probably wouldn't mind). But, despite these, the staff were really helpful! They helped us look for restaurants and they were very attentive during breakfast

The views from this hotel were really nice, but as the other reviewers said, the rooms are quite small. The balcony was huge, but if it is too cold you wouldn't be able to hang out there anyway

The hotel is old, but this gives a typical charm. The rooms are small and air-conditioning doesn't work perfectly. The rooms nevertheless are very clean

Very nice place, 2 minutes from San Gimignano. The view from the pool is stunning, the rooms are very large and comfortable, the staff is kind and helpful, the restaurant is also excellent.

Only thing I dont get why the spa was not included, that would make it more perfect. But 13 euro per person just does not make sense. Otherwise a great stay and would definatly stay here again!

You couldn't ask for a better location looking out on San Gimignano while the sun come up behind the town, OK, you have a 1. 5km walk up to the town but that's no bother

Nice hotel with a nice view next to the wonderful San Gimignano village. One opportunity for improvement is the water at a price in the room. Please put complimentary water for people arriving to the hotel

Of course, you cannot park inside the walls but you can drive to the hotel to drop your things and get checked in, and then park in one of the convenient lots outside the walls

Great location with super helpful staff. There are rooms overlooking the Piazza as well as the Tuscan countryside. Can be noisy sometimes on the Piazza side but not necessarily to an excessive level.

The hotel is lovely, especially if you can get a room with balcony overlooking the marvelous Tuscan countryside. We sat there for hours, it"s that beautiful

Rooms are spotless and modern, the staff is great and the breakfast in their upstairs dining room was sensational. Highly recommended, but book early

There are two pools to swim in, a gym, and a trampoline to jump in for children. All of the staff are very friendly, and the connecting restaurant had some of the best meals I'd had in Tuscany

The hotel is very nice. The outdoor of the hotel is impressive, with a large green area and two pools. Its located only 2km from the center in a quiet place. I recommend it!

This was one of the most unique hotels I've stayed in. The rooms are all some of the most beautiful I've seen. Breakfast is included with the stay, which is a buffet including fruit, pastries, and more

We enjoyed this amazing hotel near San Gimignano. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel has a shuttle that takes you to San Gimignano if you don’t want to worry about finding parking

There’s also a Michelin Star restaurant on-site, which serves delicious Tuscan food for a decent price. The owner and his family are great people and We will definitely be back soon!

Great property, location and staff. Everyone was really helpful and nice. The restaurant has a great menu and is very good. The pool is a bit cool and refreshing. Many German people made this their holiday location

The only thing I would change is the bed, it was bowed in the middle. My final tip, bring a bit of bug spray for dinner (ankles) and at the pool

Breakfast is personal choice and served individually, and doesn’t disappoint, from fruit salad to bacon and eggs. More than enough choice and food to fill the tanks for the day trips to the local castles and wineries

La Collegiata is a former monastery converted into a glorious bourtique hotel on expansive grounds about a 1. 5 miles walk (uphill) to the center of San Gimignano

Hotel is spotlessly clean, the host/owners are friendly and very helpful and they have a beautiful pool with knockout views! The hotel is in a great spot if you want to be just outside the busy San gimignano but within a 15 to 20 minute walk which for us was ideal

The hotel is in a gorgeous setting, it was immaculately clean, furnished beautifully with antiques, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast in the patio, listening to the birds celebrating life, was wonderful, with many delicious and nutritious items to choose from

We had been driving around Italy for a few days and arrived at San Gimignano without a hotel reservation. There was a festival in town and we were concerned we would not find a place to stay

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Lovely, helpful staff, stunning views, gorgeous pool. They do light lunches, but no evening meals. However - there is a fantastic restaurant 200m down the track which has food to die for!

The swimming pool is cool and welcoming after a days sightseeing around the Tuscan cities and towns of Siena, Florence and many others. The staff are attentive and eager to help. Rooms comfortable with fantastic views

Such a gem, situated just outside Sangimignano. Rooms at the front of the hotel offer a panoramic vista of the countryside crowned by the towering buildings of Sangimignano

Super nice stay! friendly stuff, amazing view, great facility/ venue. Strictly following all COVID measures. We stayed for 2 nights and would always come back.

After doing that, kicking back in a lounge chair by the pool, or under a tree in the yard (which is more like a beautiful, enclosed field of grass with groomed landscaping) with a nice book is amazing

Delightful. Friendly staff, lovely location, beautiful park like garden with great swimming pool. Nice Al fresco dining in the courtyard.

And did I mention that they bring you food and drinks whenever you ask? The restaurant in the hotel was one of the best we ate at in all of Italy, and we've been to 12 cities/towns/villages so far

It has all of the traditional dishes, but with a very Tuscan feel - they offered all dishes with ingredients found in that region, most of which were farm-to-table from nearby farms

Nice room and pool. Good food but the services in restaurant didn't have good approach towards people who dont speak Italien.

We swam in the pool although it was 17C outside and it was fun. Really memorable experience of tuscany. We really recommend this hotel!

We spent two nights there, the rooms are ok, breakfast can be better, nice small pool, kind staff, and close to the San Gimignano.

We specifically enjoyed Nina the dog as well ☺️ We had wine tasting in the hotel, strolled around the vineyards and received explanations from Donatella, the wine was delicious and I don’t even like red wine! Next to the hotel there is a tuscan restaurant with wonderful dinner

Would have been nice to have a shorter walk into the old town from the hotel as quite a long detour walk (very scenic and beautiful though) had to be taken each day as public busses were not at all reliable

Wonderful hostel, in the middle of Tuscany, near San Gimignano. The two-bedroom is gorgeous, with wooden ceilings, and nicely decorated. The area is simply beautiful! Highly recommended!

Beautiful bed and breakfast in a quiet, off the beaten path location. The back patio has an incredible view of the city of San Gimignano, the property is quiet and relaxing and the staff is kind and accommodating

The only thing I could critizise is that the sound isolation of the rooms are not the best and you can hear the neighbours sometimes

Only two things to note that would make it even more amazing, having some light snacks or apertivo in the afternoon by the pool (fruits or snacks) and light music in the restaurant

This place is designed with a third eye. From the windows, to the bathtub, to the honor bar & library. I would do anything to stay with Baker & Christian again. The staff was absolutely incredible & thoughtful

Great little family run hotel. It's a bit rough around the edges but we had a fabulous stay. The rooms are large and spacious, you get a great breakfast and it's only a 5 / 10 minute walk into the centre of San Gimignano
