Where to stay in San Gimignano

The hotel is well located near the city, has a gorgeous view and it is very quiet place during night. The pool Needs better care and to be heated, it is too cold in April, the garden needs a better maintenance and the service staff restaurant needs a more polite supervisor Asap.

My girlfriend wasn't feeling well, and they let us check in early so she could lay down....the room service lady who brought her some food went out of her way to be sympathetic and kind... Great view and nice breakfast Just a one night couple stay on a road trip round Italy. Firstly what a view from the balcony! Room and bathroom small but adequate as I was expecting. But the balcony made the room twice as big, if only the weather was better. Breakfast was very good lots of variety on the day there. Like all of the reviews available this property overall was great. The rooms and bathrooms are on the small side and could do with a paint: however the rooms are still comfortable. I had a room with a balcony and it was amazing to watch the sunrise and sunset from there. The staff were all kind and helpful and the communal areas and breakfast area were great. Plenty of breakfast options to choose...

We recently spent two weeks at the end of May at this delightful hotel. Authentic family run hotel. One of the best kept secrets in San Gimignano . Beautiful gardens, great location, delicious food friendly helpful staff. A lovely charming and old fashioned feel. A definite 10/10. Thank you to all the staff who made our first time in Tuscany a wonderful experience .

Very nice hotel, good breakfast (including savory food) and very friendly staff. Andreas in particular was brilliant and he provided a shuttle service for a fair fee. Would have been nice to have a shorter walk into the old town from the hotel as quite a long detour walk (very scenic and beautiful though) had to be taken each day as public busses were not at all reliable. Definitely recommend the hotel...

This is a lovely family hotel surrounded by vineyards and amazing views. It is tranquil, bus stop right outside so we could reach it without a car. The staff is amazing! Everyone were so kind, especially the owner Donatella. We specifically enjoyed Nina the dog as well ☺️ We had wine tasting in the hotel, strolled around the vineyards and received explanations from Donatella, the wine was delicious...

Very professional and helpful staff. The room we stayed in was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was delicious. If you're arriving with a car, there are more than enough parking spaces. On the other hand, I really hope that the owner will change all the room doors because the noise they're making is unbearable. For anyone with poor fitness skills, I don't recommend going to San Gimignano on foot...

This resort has a rich breakfast and a large swimming pool, which is very suitable for summer vacation. From the observation deck, you can see the small town of San Gimignano, which is known as the "City of a Hundred Towers". It is about 2 kilometers away on foot.

Good walking distance from the historical San Gimignano sites. The room was always clean and the staffs were very friendly. The iconic towers are visible from the hotel pool side.

There are plenty of parking spaces. It is a distance from the town. The courtyard on the first floor is quite large, but there are still problems with insects. I killed four mosquito-like insects in one night, although they did not bite people...

Everything is very clean, great breakfast. There is a parking lot. If you need to get to the restaurant, then book in advance.

The hotel is in Chianti, surrounded by vineyards, and the scenery should be more beautiful in autumn. There are many villages with nice scenery within dozens of kilometers. The breakfast is not bad, the coffee is delicious, there are many desserts, and there are many kinds of cheese. Continental breakfast.

The hotel is in a very strategic location, easy to find by car, and very close to San Gimignano. Walking on the path to the old town, the scenery is very beautiful, fully reflecting the unique natural environment of Tuscany.

We enjoyed this amazing hotel near San Gimignano. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel has a shuttle that takes you to San Gimignano if you don’t want to worry about finding parking. There’s also a Michelin Star restaurant on-site, which serves delicious Tuscan food for a decent price. The owner and his family are great people and We will definitely be back soon!

I have nothing negative to say! The staff were always friendly and always happy to help with anything! The room was clean and spacious with all the amenities you would expect. The location couldn't be more perfect and the parking was a huge bonus. Breakfast was great and again with great staff. In summary, I highly recommend this hotel if you go to San Gimignano.

What a beautiful property just inside the main gate! The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. It had a balcony with an amazing view of the countryside! The breakfast and dinner were excellent! I cannot say enough about the wine steward. He is classy and refreshing! What a Gentleman! We will definitely recommend to family and friends!

Very enjoyable stay. Breathtaking views from the balcony looking over the countryside. Excellent meal in the restaurant. Hotel is friendly, well equipped and well situated within the town walls. Hotel car park needs pre booking and is very convenient. Sister hotel in the valley a few km awayhas a nice pool and grounds which we were able to enjoy.

Nice hotel in the heart of this fabulous town. We had a room with a shared veranda, which had a fantastic view over the town and local countryside. Only downside of the visit was that we were not able to get a table at the restaurant for dinner. Not much effort from the hotel reception desk to fit us in

Wonderful hostel, in the middle of Tuscany, near San Gimignano. The two-bedroom is gorgeous, with wooden ceilings, and nicely decorated. The area is simply beautiful! Highly recommended!

What a gem. We had a short but beautiful stay. My personal highlight: getting served the handmade cappuccino whilst sitting at the breakfast table with the Beautiful view over Tuscany!

Ok, this is a difficult review for me to write as I do not like to write poor reviews, but as a regular traveler to Italy (and someone who stays in a variety of types of lodging from farms to B&Bs to Airbnbs to hotels) and as someone who reads reviews to get an understanding of the quality of lodging and restaurants in different areas, I feel this is important to do as this was an incredibly disappointing...

The hospitality, views, accommodations, food, olive oil and wine were simply wonderful. We stayed five nights, enjoying dinner, cooking class, wine tasting with tour of the farm and history. We also learned much about growing grapes, producing wine and Italian wine labeling and rules. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Know before you go . . . My wife and I stayed three nights and loved the experience. You are staying at a working Italian Farm nestled in the Tuscany Region. The staff sends very detailed instructions for their check-in process and the times that they are available. Absolutely zero complaints! My husband and almost canceled the reservation of our trip to stay here longer! The dinner they serve on the property is incredible as well as the wine— we shipped home a full case! Can’t wait to stay again

There is no view like this anywhere else in the world. We thoroughly enjoyed our six-day stay in the main farmhouse.
