Excellent hotel, the front desk ladies were outstanding they helped us find a last minute cabin on a cruise that was leaving the next day on a mediterranean itinerary for our family member who could not have gone on the trip otherwise. The breakfast pastries were delicious and the seafood pasta in the evening had an incredible taste. Highly recommend this place and it's located in a really nice area...

Excellent service and excellent clean Lenes s of the hotel.

We spent 4 days here pre cruise and it was ideal. The room was a good size. The furniture was a bit basic but it was okay. Fantastic having access to the well kept pool and beach. The breakfast was excellent, particularly the freshly made savoury options. The breakfast staff were very attentive. We ate in the restaurant one evening and it was very good. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is ok..it needs a little bit of investment in rooms and interior in general

This is long for a reason. In case you don't read all, know this: There are hard to see jellyfish and sea urchins here. My wife and I got stung, so did other guests. At times we couldn't bathe. There is no info about this, no staff told us. Wear protective shoes! My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in the top suite (room 601) of this retro hotel for summer holidays. Everything is fine. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. Without knowledge of English or Italian, it’s a bit difficult, but we can negotiate☺

Nice but a bit oldish

Quaint little hotel on the coast leaving Rome for Tuscany. It was relaxing and seem to think of everything. the people's warmth was palpable and we were waterfront with a view to die for in room 205. also had a balcony. Breakfast was included and it had a terrace to eat in (see photo) overlooking the ocean. Overall beautiful and relaxing experience.

The beach views were amazing. A contrast in price for rooms on the top floor and lower floor with rooms on top floor being below average (terrible bathroom/no air flow) than those on lower level.

Firstly the staff were great. Very friendly and accommodating. The hotel however is in need of work. The lobby area is nice and welcoming. The rooms are very dated and in need of desperate work. Some rooms are 5/10, others in it group were a 2/10. It's a shame as the lady at the reception (? Owner / Manager) was so nice.

What a pleasant stay! Although the single room being relatively small - no surprises here - it was extremely comfortable, well equipped and very easy to keep warm. The first time I have ever felt compelled to leave a positive review on Google. This hotel was really fantastic, the staff were amazingly kind and sweet and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in the area. Perfection :)

the hotel is clean and price-performance ratio is okay. You get free wifi access and everything is very uncomplicated. We felt safe and slept well. The beach is 10min away by foot and 5min to the harbor.

It is DEFINITELY worth upgrading to a balcony room!

We enjoyed our stay because, despite the hot weather of August, the room at ground floor n. 4 was very fresh, ventilated and quiet. The attached bar is very convenient and serve a good breakfast to guests. They also make and excellent pizza and many other dishes. The guest house is on the main beach promenade and very convenient for lidos, town centre and train station. Good for families, very welcoming...

The people are realy listening what are youre needs a bit pricy but hey it s italian 😉 and they have a little restaurant in the hotel

I stayed at this hotel over a weekend in October and I could not recommend it more highly!! My room had beautiful views over the sea and was very clean. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant looked out over the sea which provided entertainment on the two nights I was there in the middle of stormy weather. For a 3 star hotel very good, clean and pleasant staff. However, for a 3 star hotel a bit over priced room wise,depending on the usual availability algorithms, but also bar and restaurant wise the menu prices are high and beware if you order food or beverages from the beach terrace or garden instead of going personally to the bar, you pay a 5 euro service charge which did not seem to be advertised...

What a gem of a place. The owner, Carlo, and his fabulous staff could not have been more kind and friendly. Breakfasts were delicious with personalized service. Our room had stunning views of the sea. Shuttle bus service is provided into the heart of Sorrento. Beware, the lane to the hotel is very narrow for driving ...take a smaller model if you can.

Lovely sea view from the sea-view-room. Quiet neighbourhood, we visited in mid-September though. Restaurant of the hotel was rather pricey so we decided to eat elsewhere. Swimming area doesn't have many chairs but it was no problem at the end of season. The surrounding area was also strangely quiet due to end of season. Breakfast was ok, rather basic, but espresso and cappuccino were made on demand

Stayed here for about a week and love it! The room (deluxe double with balcony) was spacious and spotless. It looked just like the pictures. The beach area is more like a terrace but the water is clear and inviting. The restaurant is fantastic as well and you couldn't ask more from the service. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel is just in front of the beach and some rooms have a view to the sea. It is an old hotel but it is clean, the rooms are big. You don't have wifi in the rooms but in the lobby. In the room I stayed was no aircondition but a ventilator, which I personally prefere more. There was a restaurant in the hotel, I didn't visit. Stayed at the hotel several times some years back. Rooms are clean and the location is great. The one thing that REALLY stands out are the people that work there.....They are some of the nicest people I have met in Italy. Don't forget to take a swim if you go there; you have direct access to the sea.....wonderful! O, and one more thing....look out for the shady looking bald dude driving the huge...

I thank the staff of the s. Gaetano, kind staff, nice and helpful. I stayed with a group of friends, the meals were good and well-finished and plentiful, the staff in the dining room were polite and efficient. The beautiful and spacious garden, the rooms always clean. Spacious clean rooms with comfortable bathrooms.

We were unfortunately a few days due to my daughter's sudden fever but we had a great time. Beach with very few people despite being August quiet and large rooms. A place suitable for families and seniors really !!!

We stayed here for several nights, full board, including umbrella and sun-beds at the beach. We had a room with the A/C but many others are without. When outside is very hot it is not pleasant. The comfort should be enhanced: many noises come from the inside and the outside, the bathroom is really old, the forniture are outdated. The cleaning services should be improved. The place is amazing.... definitely recommend to anyone who would like to stay close by Rome and sea side. If you travel by car this is the most beautiful place to stay in Santa Marinella....by the sea which is so near by the other places like Ladispoli or Passoscuro. Plus is so close to Fiumicino airport. Great owner, very plesent and really good breakfast. Go there stay and enjoy yourself.....

WOW WOW WOW fantastico !!! this is an amazing property on beautiful grounds just a little above Santa Marinella to escape the intense heat, up in the hotel the air is cool and clean .. the owner is the NICEST man you will ever meet, he is so kind and generous .. the rooms are very clean, the balcony and views are gorgeous, and the breakfast HOMEMADE by the owner's daughters is absolutely delicious...

Beautiful location, great hosts, fantastic food

Rooms are basic but clean, ones with balconies have spectacular views of the port and sea. We decided to stay in for the meal on the night to save driving and it's one of the best decisions that we've made. Food is 0 kilometre, meaning that everything has more or less come from the same valley. There was a blue goats cheese which I think is possibly the best thing I've ever tasted and it only just...

A pleasant experience, even if just for one night. The hotel is very comfortable, the breakfast is great and the staff very kind. An added value is the excellent Acquaviva restaurant next door. The only drawback is the lack of a lift. I will be back with pleasure

Wonderful hotel with a scenic view, friendly and helpful personnel. Enjoyed our stay there for all ten days and really did not want to leave! Certainly would recommend this place if price is right!

Honest inexpensive hotel. Met expectations. Don't expect wonderful service or modern rooms, but everything is clean, the air-conditioning works beautifully and breakfast was basic but food. This is ideal if you are looking for a cheap, comfortable overnight stay near the airport
