Where to stay in Scala

Even if you can't afford the nightly rate for a room, stop by and have a drink and maybe a meal. On a beautiful sunny afternoon we stopped by the pool area and enjoyed a few drinks and lunch. The service and food was excellent and the view, simply amazing. Recommended

My husband and I did not stay at the hotel, but only went to Caruso's grill for dinner. The view and the restaurant itself was beautiful, however you definitely pay for the views. We would say the food was good, but nothing special and it was our most expensive meal of our trip while also one of our least favorites. Would try somewhere else before going back

This was my third visit to Amalfi coast but somehow my first trip to Cimbrone. I guess I wrote it off in my head as touristy and overrated. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Beautiful gardens with wonderful old pine trees and amazing views, so a visit is well worth it. However, I would like to warn you not to buy an ice cream in the small bistro at the panorama terrace. Seriously, I have never eaten anything so bad. The taste of bad fat haunted me for the rest of the day. A flop, not to mention the price.

I had the pleasure and privilege of eating, sleeping, walking around and getting married at Cimbrone. It is my parents favourite place for good reason. The service is flawless, the food memorable and the setting is truly heaven. I would recommend this to anyone. I would recommend a trip to Italy just for Cimbrone.

We stayed here for the beginning part of our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The staff exceeded all of our expectations and were nothing but courteous and polite. The views from our balcony were superior and the espresso was fantastic. We would recommend this hotel if you are staying in the ravello area. This review is a long time coming - we stayed at Hotel Villa San Michele in Sept 2020 and it was absolutely spectacular. The owners and managers were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they made every meal a pleasure. Food was excellent. I just experienced the bar outside I the garden with light meals. The view is absolutely amazing. It's a quiet area to run away from the crazy touristic pressure in the region. Food is nothing special, but it's enough to satisfy minimum requirements. But with such a view, we don't need amazing food to feel great. If it's not bad, it's fine.
