During my visit to Ravelo, exploring the town, i found the hotel offering light lunch terrace, i was impressed by the wonderfull view, looking over endless sea and Minore, i had my coffe after reapeating it trice, explaining to waiters that i need the hot milk separately!! they had difficulty to understand my demand!!
I found my food not so delicious(melanzani permisiano) it was rather dry, perpraired.
What makes the place of great value is the stuning view.
I didn’t use the hotel, but i found the parking is an added value, eventhough entering it by car is complicated.

Excellent service and attention from the staff. We only came to eat, so cannot comment on the hotel facilities beyond this. However the food was of a great standard and the lemon cake was amazing!
We sat outside and the view was beautiful and so peaceful.

What a hidden gem. Can’t say enough about our experience at Hotel Rufolo. We left Positano early as it was not our vibe. We booked a last minute reservation at Rufolo and from the moment we arrived we were treated with such care, kindness and hospitality. We were escorted to our rooms and shown in detail the amenities of the room and hotel. We took advantage of the pool and on property restaurant each day. The food and staff were impeccable. Some of the best food in Italy right here. If you are looking for a relaxing experience do not hesitate to stay at Rufolo.

I just experienced the bar outside I the garden with light meals. The view is absolutely amazing. It's a quiet area to run away from the crazy touristic pressure in the region. Food is nothing special, but it's enough to satisfy minimum requirements. But with such a view, we don't need amazing food to feel great. If it's not bad, it's fine.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a great clean pool with stunning views of the Bay of Salerno. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room size very good, beautiful views and great central location few minutes from Ravello square. Would not hesitate to book here again .

View from the hotel room was absolutely stunning. Probably one of the best hotel views we have ever had. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff provided excellent customer service, especially Salvatore who manned the front desk. Breakfast buffet provided many different options and was very tasty. Hotel Rufolo was situated perfectly within walking distance to most of the main restaurants and things to do in Ravello.

HOTEL WILL NOT REFUND DEPOSIT DURING PANDEMIC.
Even in the midst of a pandemic and when unrestricted travel to Italy is impossible for US citizens, they refuse to refund the deposit (they required 30% of the entire stay per room). We had some of our wedding guests booked at the hotel, and had to postpone and ultimately cancel our wedding in Ravello (originally set for May, 2020), given the uncertainty and current state of things. And, not only have they refused to refund the deposit now (with more than 8 months notice so that they can rebook the rooms), they have told us that even if travel to Italy is impossible for our reserved dates, they will STILL not refund any portion of our deposit, contrary to Italian law. Do yourselves a favor and book somewhere that does not keep your money in exchange for services not performed.

Stayed for two nights paying ~580euro in total.
Having travelled from Milan all the way down Italy, found this the most disappointing. Small room, old bathroom.
No problem with the service, more than adequate.
It's more like a conference centre.
Well over priced, more like 100euro a night.
Btw, don't day trip to Positano. It's a complete tourist trap talked up over the years. Extremely under whelming.

Smart hotel in a great location. Though there could be much better attention to detail. The beds could be renewed and were not that comfortable. The breakfast could be much better and should be for a hotel of this price and quality. The town is stunning and will always be full of tourists so the reality is that management don't really care, there will always be more tourists, this is a pity as it could be amazing with a bit of effort.
