Stayed here for the weekend. The hotel is quite busy although it’s low season. The room is standard, but with good design and layout. Clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very good. Lots of variety and good quality food. The location is convenient. You can reach the city centre within five minutes by walk. It’s a perfect stay considering the good price. Will stay here again when I come back to Siena.

We went on a trip through Italy for 3 weeks and this is the best hotel we’ve stayed at! The staff are very friendly especially Carlos, David and Simone, as well as the kitchen staff! Free breakfast from 7-11 and valet free parking! Clean and comfortable rooms! If you’re ever in Sienna, Hotel Athena is the number one place to stay at!

Lovely hotel with exceptional service. The location is on the outskirts of the town center, but nothing is more than a 10 min walk anyway, so take that in context.
The only issues were that the wifi was really really slow and the air conditioner never got cool enough.
Otherwise, the room was very clean and quite large, including the bathroom. The view from our room was also very nice.

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast and great rate! Highly recommended! Location is just perfect and away from the busy city centre. We enjoyed our daily walk around the city and back to the hotel later in the day. Great scenery!

All my clarification considered by the price of the stay. The room was a bit small, the breakfast was basic and very crowded. I really missed a good bakery..
The center is in walking distance. Tje staff are very kind and supportive. But everything is closed from 3pm to 7pm either in the hotel and in the city. Parking is good. The view from the room or from the roof bar is stunning.

Staff is the absolute best, extremely friendly and supportive, trying to help with everything and making you feel very welcome. Almost feels like a family. The room is quite spacious with a very nice view over the valley (very recommended to book), clean and properly maintained. Breakfast buffet has a wide assortment and the quality is high. For lunch and dinner there is a very nice outside area with a beautiful view over the valley (recommended). Parking is available, just note the availability is limited and can be a little hectic/challenging to get in and out. Location is good, at the edge of the city, easily reachable by car, within 10 mins walking distance to the city center.
The charging point for electric cars is not from the hotel itself but through an external party. So also not included in the rate (despite being advertised). So you will need to setup an account through that party, which will take you quite some time (with us it even didn't work). Charging using the hotels account is possible, but they charge you an unreasonably high rate. For us it was fixed by using the normal (220V) power outlet, but not really a proper solution.

Room was comfy. A bit outside the main tourist area. We had half-board for the hotel restaurant, and would have been better off eating elsewhere.

I wanted to give this hotel a better rating - as it was pretty standard in terms of cleanliness/amenities and we had a nice view from our rooms - but we did not have one decent night's sleep here.
If you are an early riser and don't mind waking up to the sound of furniture moving back and forth (scrapes and thuds), then this place is for you. Housekeeping starts at 9 am and aren't exactly careful about keeping the noise down while they work. I imagine they were throwing supplies because occasionally something would knock against the wall. And earplugs don't help when the entire room shakes from the noise!!
Water in the fridge was free, so that was nice..

Great location, easy access to Siena and walking distance to many of attractions. Plenty of places to eat and drink too. spacious rooms, comfy beds and very clean. The staff are also helpful and friendly.

Perfect Hotel, in a fantastic city!
Staff very friendly & professional, rooms are comfy, free parking is a huge asset, nice breakfast and last but not least such a wonderful restaurant with delicious food and an breathetaking view!
