We had a great stay from the moment we checked in, when the two very kind gentlemen at the desk helped us prepare for exploring (Sun 7/20) until our check out this morning (Wed 7/23) when the lovely woman and gentlemen helped us call a taxi. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was varied and delicious. This was the perfect, safe stay for two single women traveling. Siena being an absolutely charming town doesn't hurt.

Location was awesome and hotel was great! Instructions to avoid ZTL and get to parking were very straightforward and helpful. So easy to walk into town from here as well. View from the room was beautiful and we loved having a full size shower compared to the other hotels we stayed at!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and this was a great spot! Very clean rooms, the breakfast was good. The rooftop bar was great and we had a great view from our room!
The staff was also incredible! They were very accommodating and very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Great hotel in a phenomenal location. The staff is knowledgeable and engaging. They helped us craft itineraries and were able to make dinner reservations. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone. The hotel has ample parking and is within walking distance from all of the “must see” Siena attractions. The hotel has a great restaurant that rivals those in town. The seventh floor terrace serves up refreshing spritzes with a world class view.

The Deluxe Room with Balcony was nice but balcony needed weeding. Older style furniture and amenities in the room, that are very typical of Italian hotels countrywide.
The room was comfortable and clean, with water offered complimentary in the room.
The food at the hotel restaurant, the one night i ate there was very tasty.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
My one gripe with this hotel are the pillows and mattress. There were about 6 different pillows available and all of them made my neck feel stiff as a board in the morning.

Stayed here for the weekend. The hotel is quite busy although it’s low season. The room is standard, but with good design and layout. Clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very good. Lots of variety and good quality food. The location is convenient. You can reach the city centre within five minutes by walk. It’s a perfect stay considering the good price. Will stay here again when I come back to Siena.

We went on a trip through Italy for 3 weeks and this is the best hotel we’ve stayed at! The staff are very friendly especially Carlos, David and Simone, as well as the kitchen staff! Free breakfast from 7-11 and valet free parking! Clean and comfortable rooms! If you’re ever in Sienna, Hotel Athena is the number one place to stay at!

Lovely hotel with exceptional service. The location is on the outskirts of the town center, but nothing is more than a 10 min walk anyway, so take that in context.
The only issues were that the wifi was really really slow and the air conditioner never got cool enough.
Otherwise, the room was very clean and quite large, including the bathroom. The view from our room was also very nice.

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast and great rate! Highly recommended! Location is just perfect and away from the busy city centre. We enjoyed our daily walk around the city and back to the hotel later in the day. Great scenery!

All my clarification considered by the price of the stay. The room was a bit small, the breakfast was basic and very crowded. I really missed a good bakery..
The center is in walking distance. Tje staff are very kind and supportive. But everything is closed from 3pm to 7pm either in the hotel and in the city. Parking is good. The view from the room or from the roof bar is stunning.
