Splendid place for those who love peace (the choice to avoid the TV in the rooms fits perfectly!), Few guests, kind and very helpful staff. A few km from Siena, Florence, Monteriggioni .... with the possibility of returning after a day of "excursion" and throwing yourself into the pool to relax. Ah ... it's still a REAL farmhouse!

A nice holiday home for 4 people, even to the gate paved road. The decor is cozy and all utensils of the household are available. The manager speaks only Italian, but uses a translation program. Holiday home for four people in a very quiet location. Nicely furnished, many useful household items are available. Pool is a bit small but enough to cool off. The pool was cleaned every day during our stay.

We had a heavenly 3 day stay at La Canonica. Stefania and Roberto were perfect hosts who welcomed us warmly. Lovely breakfasts included with fruit, juice, breads, yoghurt, eggs and great coffee. The property is situated in beautiful countryside outside Sienna. It is very quiet and peaceful and made for a very relaxing stay after the hectic pace of Rome and the Ryder Cup. Typical Italian agriturismo, hidden behind trees on a hill. Nevertheless, an incredibly central location! Great views and a nice pool. Very kind, funny and enthusiastic hostess (make sure you speak some Italian or to have your Google translate app ready). The farm is in the middle of the Sienese hills. The apartment is very well kept, large and the sheets are very fragrant. The surrounding countryside is a joy for the eyes.

Absolutely the most beautiful experience we have ever had. From the second you arrive you feel like your stress has disappeared. The views of Tuscany are stunning. The chef has out done himself with cuisines that will want you waiting for your next course. The staff is top notch and leaves you wanting for nothing. Luxurious. Excellence. Classic.

It was amazing. Breakfast every morning was an adventure. Everything is homemade with something new as a surprise. Very central location to go and see all the sights in nearby places and then return "home", have a swim in the pool and just chill. As a single traveller, I never had one moment of feeling uncomfortably and lonely.

The lovely owners are in business for the right reasons! You will feel right at home, est well, but what we really enjoyed was taking a couple of days to recharge. The beauty of the situation of this hotel cannot be underestimated and the kindness of Laura and Luciano went beyond expectations. For a quiet holiday with the easy access to nearby Siena, this was perfect! The pool was a bit colder than I am used to, however, the remainder of our stay here was delightful. We just returned home from our wonderful Tuscany vacation that ended at Il Canto Del Sol. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful Laura and Luciano have made this “resort” for their guests. The food, the accommodations, the scenery, the hospitality are second to NONE. What a wonderful place to stay. It’s so relaxing and beautiful that I didn’t want to leave. The owners are very friendly and the accommodations were excellent. There’s some fantastic restaurants a short but lovely drive away and Sienna is close as well. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy Tuscany, I can’t recommend this place strongly enough.

We stayed two nights with Luciano and family in early September; what wonderful hosts. the property is far enough off the main roads to offer a very peaceful stay but not too far to get on to sightsee in Seina close by and surround areas. Breakfast was very generous as well. Air conditioning was good and rooms well maintained. We would stay again at the first opportunity.

The most beautiful place in the world

We recently enjoyed a wonderful week in Tuscany staying at Villa Corsanello. The house was everything we wanted. Enjoyed day trips to closeby hilltop villages and relaxed by the lovely pool. Claudia and Rinaldo are lovely people and we would love to return sometime in the future..

This place is an awesome stay right next to Siena. Incredible views and great place to stay, close to the best wineries. Rosaria was the best, super helpful, always friendly with a warm smile, best host ever. Francesca is the in house chef and her food is absolutely delicious.

We have now been to the Poggiarello for the third time and enjoyed it again. If you feel like quiet, great rooms and the rolling hills of Chianti as a view ... then there! And around the corner there are great wineries with tastings.

Beautiful country setting, relaxing with friendly proprietor who made a gift of Olive oil and wine from his farm. Also gave us a free upgrade to an apartment as it happened to be free. The property was extremely handing for visiting Siena and the Tuscan countryside.

Comfortable hotel at 15 minutes by car from Siena. We had an enjoyable one-night stay. The breakfast was good, and the hotel personnel were nice and accommodating. We don't give the five stars because our queen bed was composed of two different single mattresses, resulting in a dissimilar softness.

Nice room with a pretty comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant next door, but not much else. Free parking was great.

Lovely place in the Toscana countryside. We stayed there for a couple of nights in June 2018. The rooms are simple but clean and charming. A marvelous welcome from the owners, Teresa and Walter. We are looking forward to going back and we definitely recommend it.

We loved the breakfast each morning and even when we had to leave early the next day (before breakfast started), Giorgia gave it to us the evening before so we didn't miss out! What a wonderful place to stay! Rustic yet very comfortable with fun staff and great food. I made reservations on-line with no problem at all, and received a response very quickly. This is located about 1 mile from a Tuscan walled-in castle of Monteriggioni dating from the 1200’s. My wife and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Borgo Gallinaio is a beautiful, peaceful, well maintained Agriturismo. Large rooms with modern bathrooms are decorated with antiques. It is conveniently located near historic sites in Tuscany.

Keeping in mind that it’s an historic property, our stay here was excellent! the room was very comfortable, in spite of how old the building was. We loved it! It was the perfect location to wine country, and the host gave great advice in what to do in the area. The breakfast was delicious and substantial.
