This stylish and cozy small hotel with only 11 rooms is a hidden gem. Located slightly away from the busy center of Sorrento, it offers a rare opportunity to truly relax and unwind, while still being within easy reach of all the main attractions.

The hotel is new and modern, with thoughtful design and a unique concept inspired by contemporary Sicilian style. Each room has its own character, and many offer beautiful views. The air conditioning works very well – a big plus during the summer months.

What really sets this place apart is the incredible attention to design in every little detail — from the lighting, textures, and decor to the choice of materials and harmonious color palettes. Every corner feels well thought-out and visually pleasing. The aesthetic coherence of the whole space creates a relaxing atmosphere and brings genuine joy just by being there. You can feel how much care was put into creating this space — and that alone makes the experience so much more special.

Breakfast was satisfying, with a balanced selection of proteins and carbohydrates. While the menu didn’t change during our stay, the quality remained good and consistent.

We’re especially grateful to the front desk manager, Alessandra, who was always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with any question or need.
When we arrived late after missing an excursion due to train delays, the reception team kindly offered us a discount on the late check-in fee. They truly showed care and understanding, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and supported. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the lady who helped us that evening, but it was very pleasant.

This hotel definitely matches — and even exceeds — its category. We would gladly return on our next visit to the region.

Maison Kalea is clean, cozy, and stylish—like staying in an IKEA showroom, but warmer, quieter, and with way better customer service. It’s tucked in a peaceful neighborhood just a short walk from the train station.

The staff? Incredible. So kind and thoughtful—they even arranged a surprise birthday cake for my daughter that made her day! And Camila was a total superstar, helping us book last-minute attractions like a travel ninja.

If you’re looking for charm, comfort, and staff who actually care, this is your spot. 10/10 would stay again (and probably steal some design inspo).

Absolutely loved our stay here!! Right from the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed and at home. Beautiful hotel with a great location, so close to everything. The rooms were nice and spacious, and clean. Loved the pops of colour throughout and the decor. Breakfast was amazing and staff were so friendly. We will definitely be back!!

Everything about my stay here was wonderful. The desk staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Gave me very useful info a few times to support my itinerary and help make it easier for me to navigate. Alessandra was always on top of everything with her pleasant and professional demeanor. They served an absolutely delicious breakfast Every morning, with the cook, Margherita, keeping every guest happy with her delicious fresh quiche, eggs, pastries and so much more. She greeted you each morning with such a warm friendly smile to start your day. The rooms are beautiful with stunning Italian tiles, large beds and an amazing tub too. Highly recommend this place. Easy walk to the Piazza as well.

Rooms super clean and comfortable. Service extremely kind. The waitress really help us with everything that we needed. The location is good too, close to the ferry. Super recommend
