Hotel Grand Royal in Sorrento! This hotel is outstanding!! Beautiful property. Has lounge chairs and service at water area with lift to get there. Comfortable bed, steps to the Piazza Tasso

All are very good, rich breakfast, comfortable room There are many seats in the garden, and there is also an elevator to go down to the private beach under the cliff, with a panoramic view of the Bay of Naples

The onsite restaurant offers delicious and elegant meals, one of our favorite dishes was the tagliolini with pawns and brown butter sauce. The hotel staff were nice and attentive

Our room was perfect with a lovely balcony where we could wind down in the evening after a day of adventures. Conveniently located, 5 minute walk, to center of town for shopping and dining

We were treated very well, with an upgrade to an executive sea view room, which was fantastic for working and relaxing. The restaurants were well staffed with highly professional and hard working staff

The hotel is built on the hillside, facing the sea. The restaurant has a great view, where you can have breakfast while overlooking Mount Vesuvius

The facilities are very welcome but I wished that the pool would not close so early. Executive club lounge is well stocked and a reason we originally came. It's a 10 minute walk into Sorrento and not all that difficult

The hotel is halfway up the mountain. The lobby is grand and there are many 🍋 trees in the garden. The room facilities are average and drinking water is not provided

It is located near the mountain and a little far from the center. The breakfast is delicious with many varieties. The room is relatively large with a full sea view and a view of the volcano

The sea view rooms have charming views and are a very cost-effective hotel in Sorrento.

If I could give this hotel 6 stars I would. The service from the very start to the end was absolutely amazing. Location was wonderful, and the breakfast buffet blew me away

Traveling in the off-season, the price/performance ratio is very high. The room type was upgraded for free, but the room was close to the garden and there were mosquitoes

Recently stayed here for 3 nights while on a holiday, the room was superb and the location was great. Having shutters on the windows and a balcony was a nice touch

The only downside was that the buffet breakfast was a bit plain. I would happily recommend this accommodation for anyone who is coming to Sorrento

This deluxe Resort is located right on the Main Square. At the Entrance, you will be greeted by a Hostess. She will take you to the office to fill out a form ( they really want to know who you are - all about security)

We had breakfast on the balcony every morning and a few dinners overlooking the bay. Everything about the hotel felt royal. We also ended up meeting one of the owners, Alessandro, on the last night

What a great dining experience this was on the outside Terrace overlooking the bay of Naples. The food, although very pricy, is worth every penny

By the way, dinner by the pool it’s an absolute waste of money: food was tasteless

The staff went more than above. The sea level deck in the sun is beautiful. Tomorrow we leave early, and our rental car is placed right outside the door AND we have a packed lunch

We stayed at Grand Hotel Riviera in Sorrento for five nights during our honeymoon in mid-June, and it was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, the service was some of the best we've ever experienced

The private beach club is another standout feature that makes this hotel special. The service was great, and we enjoyed many spritzes and a few club sandwiches while relaxing during our days there

They also have their own private beach area, which was gorgeous! Everything was spotless - The housekeeping staff did a great job every day

We had such a wonderful stay at Grand Hotel Riviera in Sorrento! It was our first time in Sorrento and I was overwhelmed with options on accommodations, but I’m so happy that I went with this hotel! Everything from the beautiful room , the views , the staff ( Gianni and Francesco at concierge were amazing and very helpful with booking restaurants , transportation and boat trips, as well as giving us...

They welcomed us with a complimentary bottle of prosecco and chocolate cake. Francesco & Gianni at the concierge desk were both incredible

The downside was that we had a late flight and the hotel declined to provide a luggage secure service even though they were aware the transfer was from the hotel, would have expected this service

The hotel was old style but it all adds to the charm of the place and the grounds are stunning and our room was clean. We had our two year old with us and the Italians love to make a fuss of her which she loved

I was worried about my stay when I read the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Staff are very friendly and welcoming which I haven't felt in along time at a hotel. The guests there are also very friendly

It was an anniversary trip, and before we went, I contacted Antonella to arrange some flowers for my wife on arrival and there they were. Nothing was to much trouble and we really liked the vibe of the place

There are damaged sunbeds and mattresses by the pool - why not just remove them rather than leave them out as an advert for "we don't care"

We were expecting a beach and was told before we booked that yes there is a beach with a free bus to it however it's NOT a beach. You can get in the sea if u jump off rocks or steps

Quite frankly I've never been treated better in my life, they genuinely can't do enough for you! Across the board fantastic service. Wild rabbits by the jacuzzis aren't for everyone but I loved them!

The balcony restaurant has wonderful views over Sorrento Bay. The pianist at breakfast a treat. The complementary snacks during the day very generous

Lovely and quiet room at the back. Relaxed atmosphere. Shuttle service from the hotel into Sorrento and back that is free, or can use the local bus as stop is right outside.

The entire hotel is spotlessly clean including the lovely pool which is a suntrap until around 3. 30pm when the sun dips behind the mountain

Amazing place to stay and their hourly shuttle buses to the city was a great addition. The staff are very helpful and had an epic pool.

The sea view room is beautiful, and the environment of the ordinary room is also very good. The most noteworthy thing is the Michelin restaurant in the hotel. The black truffle pasta is the best I have ever eaten

I strongly recommend walking to Giovanna Rock Beach, which is really surprising!

The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our entire stay! We loved all of the following: the ocean front area with bar service, the sunset bar for food and drinks, the delicious complimentary breakfast every morning, the service provided by the entire staff was outstanding! We will definitely come back to stay again!

We originally wanted to stay on the island, but later we were advised to stay in Sorrento, so we made a hasty decision. We were a little worried at first, but when we got to the hotel, we were so happy

We enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel and the pool. The breakfast options were quite good, but the location was a drawback. Being on a major street made it noisy at times in the room.

5 stars to the delightful Lady serving breakfast, 5 stars for the pool as well, rooms should be updated but overall it's a good option. Bad surprise the lack of parking...16€ extra.

The staff at Hotel Central Wellness are fantastic! Reception was always helpful and the breakfast and housekeeping staff were just lovely! The location is a pretty easy 10 or so minutes from the city centre and everything around Sorrento is east to easy

The room was fairly basic and small but comparable to lots of other places throughout Europe. Pool was great and always lots of Sunbeds. Breakfast was lovely and there was everything you could think of!

The beach below the hotel was a bonus that we really appreciate

One of the best hotels we have ever had the pleasure of staying. We had a spacious corner room with a huge balcony. The staff were amazing, pleasant, and thoughtful. The food in the restaurant was excellent

A taxi ride to town runs about $20 to $25 euros one way depending on traffic

As the aircon was not great I managed to upgrade to a 4th floor sea view room with small balcony - loved it. Rooms cleaned well each day and all towels changed. Good minifridge/bar, but no tea/coffee facility

The views of the bay over to Vesuvius and Capri were stunning and the sunsets a sight to behold. Our room was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Could have done with more cupboard space for storing clothes though

Some great specials such as red snapper, linguini with lobster - all washed down with great selection of wines at reasonable prices. The hotel is up a very steep hill 15mins walk to Sant Agnello or 30 mins to Sorrento

We had the bed and breakfast option and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. The evening meals were definitely worth staying in for. Eugemio, Goivanni and Giuliann were amazing hosts and kept us entertained

We were at this hotel with a group tour and had a wonderful time. Our room was in a different part of the hotel were only 4 rooms in total were. Room, bathroom and balcony was huge

There was a free bus service down into Sorrento but it did get oversubscribed at busy times. The hotel did their best to make sure everyone got there doing more than one shuttle

Pool area really nice with patches of shade, only drawback to pool was it closed at 6 but they didnt seem to mind if you over stayed too much. Staff all extremely friendly and great breakfast selection

Daily breakfast was plentiful and some gluten free options. Shower curtain was a dislike, but that's personal taste. Pool area is an attraction especially in summer months I imagine. Alot of space, deck chairs and a bar

The view was obstructed by the trees, so unfortunately our "sea view room" had the Vesuvius blocked! Still nice to have a balcony with a good view

Hotel Grand de la Ville is elegant, comfortable, and perfectly located. The staff are warm and attentive, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the rooftop pool offers stunning views

I remembered Michel who works at the front and another Michel at the pool and literally everyone in staff made it so comfortable for me, my baby (who they all adored) and my husband(he is not a city person so Sorrento was heaven for him!) We really did not want to leave at all

The hotel did book a taxi for us the day before our excursion for an early pick up - much appreciated. However we got ripped off by the taxi driver. He charged us 50 Euros for a 15 minute ride to town

We told the front desk about it and they said that’s just the way it is. Sometimes we felt like we were bothering the staff. Hard to find towels at the pool. They only put a few out at a time

Starts at 9 am so if you want to go earlier you will need to walk down the hill or take an over priced taxi. The shuttle does have a late last pick from town which is really nice

we traveled Sicily and the southern coast of Italy for 3 weeks and our 5 day stay here was the best. Rooms were wonderful, the hotel and pool are sparkling clean

Although the decoration is simple, it is clean and comfortable. The location is good, right on the beach. You can see the sea view when you open the room. The room has a balcony and there is a paid parking lot

Guests of La Residenza can take advantage of the beautiful gardens, pool and allowed access to the private beach! It isn’t slap bang in town, but easy walking distance and well worth it for all the extra facilities which you get here

I will definitely be coming back here! They have fellow hotels near one another so you can use the pools and other facilities in other hotels which are just a few minute walk past a beautiful park, with lots of flowers, palm trees and gorgeous birds and sounds

Pool was closed in September which was disappointing. Decent rooms, good check in and staff. Amenities for the 4* hotel are provided by the 5* sister hotel in the same grounds and are excellent
