The hotel - there are better places as a venue for conferences, great. Conference for 500 people was perfectly organized, with no queues and delays. Rooms are comfortable.

Very nice hotel as you would expect from Hilton. The people were friendly and the accomodations were 1st

Good location, just a short walk into town especially if you take the hidden ally behind the gate at the end of the street. The only minor issue was there was some noise during the day from renovations at the hotel

It's a minor trade off to have properly maintained accomodations

We loved hanging out in the bar/lounge area. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options for anyone to choose. The rooms are a little on the smaller size, but with a beautiful view if you are on the ocean side

It’s a 12 min walk to the centre of Sorrento so it’s away from the intensity of the town but close enough to be easily accessible. Lovely pool, lots of loungers and a generally calm and upmarket ambiance

One of our favorites parts of the hotel is taking in the view, sitting by the pool, and ordering drinks from their excellent bar. Can't recommend this place enough

We did a lot of research to find the best place to stay in Sorrento italy. believe me! This was one of the best decisions I've ever made on a hotel

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding in Sorrento and loved Grand Hotel Capodimonte. Their rooms are stunning, comfortable, and modern. Their AC works extremely well (shoutout all Americans)

The second best part? The pools! There’s plenty of seating by the pools and they are beautiful all with great views and plenty of sunlight. The views from the rooms is picturesque

They also had a sign posted on the thermostat advising "for best experience, leave it set to 25C. " So we didn't okay with it, but still noticed the power flicker on and off a few times when in our room

The restaurant by the pools had one of the best pizzas I had while in Italy! The best part of this hotel is that it’s an easy (no hills) walk into downtown Sorrento

Wonderful hotel near the heart of Sorrento. A few minutes walk into the main area, but that's a good thing because it is generally too crowded in the town itself so it is great being a bit away from the crowds

Not here - great sized spaces, excellent showers and air conditioning. Have a martini on the terrace, or take the elevator and listen to the ocean at the hotel’s private jetty/beach area

So, while the location and hotel itself is very good, the entire establishment was a great letdown due to the service. We spent a week here and, since other (true 5 star) options abound in Sorrento, we will never go back

This is a somewhat old fashioned hotel that has music in the sitting areas - a piano player - to just enjoy the atmosphere. This was my second time here. I recommend the rooms overlooking the sea rather than the road

From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the breathtaking views over the Bay of Naples and the timeless elegance of the hotel itself. The staff were exceptional—professional, accommodating, and genuinely warm

This hotel has exquisite outdoor areas especially the gardens and patio in the back overlooking the sea. There are tables and chairs and table service so that you can drink and snack while enjoying the view

There’s lots of choice for cold cuts, pastries, cakes etc but it would be good to have more hot options, especially different types of eggs

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is truly beautiful, with amazing views all around. From the top floor, the view of Mount Vesuvius is especially stunning — it’s a must-see and perfect for taking photos

Shuttle bus service was very good always on time Swimming pool was lovely, nice and spacious a good siz to do some morning lengths. A lovely hotel to stay in and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento

Was very impressed with the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. Room cleaning was very good and all the staff was very friendly and helpful when needed

Just spent two weeks here, it's a fantastic base to explore the various sights, Capri,Almafi,Pompeii,Vesuvius etc. Hotel was fantastic,every staff member was friendly and went out of their way to help

Rooms were nice and big, if you need a kettle just ask and they will provide you with one. The food was lovely and very plentiful a good selection

What a place! 5 minute walk to the piazza and 2 minute walk to the station. The facilities are excellent and everywhere is spotlessly clean. We're half board and the evening meals are superb as are the breakfasts

Great location in the centre of Sorrento the hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful the rooms are a good size but appear a little dated but you're not there for the rooms

The full service breakfast is wonderful and the staff are all so kind and attentive. The rooftop bar and views are really nice we enjoyed the beautiful views of the water and Mount Vesuvius with a class of wine many time

You can’t get any closer to the sorrento train terminal and the walk down to the marina is so beautiful and a peaceful walk that we enjoyed every day

But at the same time, because of the location it doesn’t have great views. It has 2 pools, they close at around 6 pm, which is early

The waiters are super lovely! We would certainly consider coming back here as this hotel ticked all the boxes!

The views, the room and amenities, the service, the beach club, the drinks, this hotel had it all! Also, the best hotel shower we have ever encountered!! The comfort of the beds, pillows and every aspect of the room were unmatched

Max Pollio at the front desk said that he would continue to contact the police at the station in an attempt to find my bag. It was a new suitcase but I had a new (never worn) 700EU pair of Ferragamo shoes in there

So the hotel was amazing and we will stay there on our next Italy trip but you cannot get better individual care than at this hotel. When you stay there ask for Max, tell him Robert sent you !

Wow, what can I say!! This was collectively our favorite hotel on this trip to Italy (and we stayed in 5 different five star rated hotels)

We only wish the menu at the beach resort had better offerings. If going to Sorrento look no further! Stay here without a doubt!!

Very good hotel Lovely reception area and beach club. Not a huge suite but perfectly adequate. Nice balcony overlooking the sea. Very good and attentive breakfast service. Very friendly and helpful staff

Dinner was excellent with a buffet antipasti, and waiter served first course first course and main course and a buffet dessert. The waiting staff were welcoming and attentive, they could not be faulted in any way

Our room was spacious, clean and had a lovely view of the volcano from the balcony. The food was excellent and plentiful. The cleaning staff were excellent

This however, does not change our view that the hotel is an excellent place to stay and we certainly hope to return there in the future

Great Hotel, good location near Sorrento. Amazing breakfast, staff are very friendly and attentive. Nice pool area with a bar, would have been better if the water was heated! Will definitely return

One review we saw before we went away commented on the breakfast "always being the same", show me a hotel where that is not the case, so yes it was always the same but with so many different things on offer and a cook to order station you could stay there for a week or two and not have the same breakfast twice

We did not use reception a great deal but when we did they were friendly and efficient. Although a fair way outside the centre, the hotel shuttle bus was reliable both for getting into and back from the centre

The include breakfast buffet has everything (even for picky American eaters like my spouse) and it’s around the corner from the main shopping street in sorrento with all the stores and restaurants

We opted for half board, and both meals were lovely, with the staff providing excellent service. The dinner backdrop was breathtaking

The property was beautiful and filled with amenities. Located within walking distance of shopping, the station, and the water. The room was clean except for one towel. Staff replaced the towel quickly.

It’s in the original villa and are two rooms combined into a guest suite. Generously sized bedroom and living room with a dining table that could accommodate 6 easily. The armoires and fireplace were a beautiful touch

Our room was beautiful! Highly recommend room #143 with 2 balconies overlooking the pool and garden, beautiful view of the Mediterranean in the distance and direct access to the lemon garden, pool and restaurant

The staff was always helpful and professional. Dinner at the hotel was very good. We had a younger waiter, dark hair, during our stay

Personally, I had staid at this place 14 years ago when I was a teenager and could not really remember the place but it had left me a feeling of a warm and caring atmosphere

The staff is so friendly and helpful. The views are incredible! The shuttle is free and easy to use. This hotel is VERY clean! Will stay here again.

Breakfast was so good, they helped us with getting around town and getting to the islands. The room is big and super clean. The shuttle bus is so convenient and the driver is so nice and polite

The hotel also provides a bus shuttle service into town once an hour, so that is something to take into consideration when booking tours etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hotel la Vue D'Or

The location was perfect, room was great, and all of the staff were so friendly & helpful (and excellent with our kids, especially Rocco!) The pool was also a huge bonus! Would definitely recommend

This deluxe Resort is located right on the Main Square. At the Entrance, you will be greeted by a Hostess. She will take you to the office to fill out a form ( they really want to know who you are - all about security)

It was only 5 minutes and had no issues but its good to know if you might have trouble walking bc the walk back up was steep but doable. The stay at this gorgeous hotel was worth the little hike for me

Exemplary resort visit I thought this place was great! private beach with elevator to the bottom, food was good, service always friendly, close enough to walk into the action of downtown but far enough not to get hassled by it

The hotel has its own private beach, which was so convenient and relaxing. Be prepared to walk at least 20 minutes into town on a hill

Also budget for taxi transportation on the days you don’t want to walk back up the hill. Overall, the hotel is quite lovely and all of the food and drinks that we had were delicious

Hotel Grand de la Ville is elegant, comfortable, and perfectly located. The staff are warm and attentive, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the rooftop pool offers stunning views

I watched the sunset for 2 days. The breakfast was also good (I was not used to the dinner but the service was good 😄). It is a 15-minute walk from the pier

Michel gave such great service at the bar with the freshest best orange juice and went out of his way to find sweeter wines for us (He may have climbed many steps to get it for us!) I will definitely come here again!

Everything was wonderful and the breakfast was very good. The roof top bar upstairs was very romantic, and there were also people playing songs. It was a wonderful evening.

The noise in the room was too loud, which affected my sleep... But the location was very good, just a few hundred meters away from Downtown, and the breakfast was good.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast was one of the best I’ve experienced with meats, cheeses, eggs, pastries, fresh fruits

Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was very underwhelming, weak selection of food and terrible coffee. Overall, the quality/price ratio was not very good

The view was obstructed by the trees, so unfortunately our "sea view room" had the Vesuvius blocked! Still nice to have a balcony with a good view

Daily breakfast was plentiful and some gluten free options. Shower curtain was a dislike, but that's personal taste. Pool area is an attraction especially in summer months I imagine. Alot of space, deck chairs and a bar

The sea view room is beautiful, and the environment of the ordinary room is also very good. The most noteworthy thing is the Michelin restaurant in the hotel. The black truffle pasta is the best I have ever eaten

The hotel is in a good location, not far from the station and the pier, with an unbeatable view to enjoy the sunset, and the breakfast is average

Nice pool and jasmine covered terrace overlooking the sea. Room was beautiful but had a slight stale cigarette smoke smell. Service is excellent especially at the restaurant. Restaurant staff are warm and kind

While hotel service is very good, the non-restaurant staff are not warm and friendly save a few exceptions. We did meet a very friendly housekeeping staff member and one very friendly front desk staff

Staff are amazing, rooms basic but immaculate. Food good.Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is there are no tea/coffee facilities available in your rooms. Would definitely return to this hotel , views are spectacular.

A really nice hotel with great staff who were all extremely helpful. The choice of food in the restaurant needs a but of change as the choice was limited for those like me who do not eat red meat

The hotel is high up in the hills, so the views are stunning. The hotel operates a free shuttle service to the main area which works well

All services are charged to your room- no cash is taken for drinks etc, although I understand that you can submit your receipts each day and pay in cash/ card to reception

The restaurant staff work so hard and they are so helpful and always smiling. They along with the bar staff go above and beyond. The bar staff Michele, Carlo, Enrico and nana were great fun and looked after us

The spa and treatments they offer are great. And Gemma the therapist is brilliant and hope when I return next year she is still there. We made great use of the shuttle service and its a great extra
