Best Hotels in Sorrento

My wife and I had an amazing stay here in July. The room had a great AC that kept it nice and cool. The best part of the stay was the around the clock shuttle service to the Sorrento city center

Lovely hot shower and plenty of storage space for our belongings. Food was very good, especially on the Sunday and Thursday nights when they do an extra special dinner - definitely not to be missed

Just back from this beautiful hotel and grounds. A good choice of menu, and attentive staff. Fantastic views over the Bay of Naples worth paying a bit extra for a wonderful sea view room

We had room 341, large room and big bathroom. Free hotel bus to take you down to Sorrento town

Looks straight over to Mount Versuvios' views are stunning. Good choice of food whether it be breakfast, lunch by the pool or evening dinner. Rooms cleaned and towels replenished daily

Otherwise, everything else was fine. Comfy bed, helpful staff, good pool area. Breakfast wasn't bad, but only 2 options of hot food - pancakes or scrambled egg

The location of this hotel is fantastic, 2 minutes walk from the town centre. The food was very good and the staff are absolutely excellent

Staff are all welcoming and attentive ensuring you are looked after led by a very passionate boss who personally showed guests around his own garden. Great sea views from our room on 3rd floor

Recently returned after 7 nights, hotel ideally situated being an easy 5 minute walk into town

On a plus, the beds are extremely comfortable. If you're a sun worshipper, this is not the hotel for you. 1 if you're lucky enough to get a lounger in the right spot. Bear in mind this could be different in summer months

We were also facing a wall, which was very disappointing as we thought that by booking through an agent over 9 months prior , we may get a room with a view of the pool or the garden

Patio area unfortunately just faced a wall so the views were limited. Bathroom hairdryer was old and weak - could be updated. Reception staff were very helpful - organizing meal reservations and recommendations

This is our 3rd time here at the hotel. Its beautiful and the staff are so lovely on the reception. The hotel is in such a lovely location overlooking Sorrento

Our favourite time is at breakfast when you sit outside overlooking the city and hear it waking up with the hubbub of bikes and car horns below

Overall our stay was pretty good. The pool area is stunning with a great view of the sea of Sorrento

It is situated on a cliff so a lot of the hotel is on different levels, with 5 pools that cascade into the next

We love coming here as it is a good launch point for reaching the Amalfi Coast and the history surrounding the Vesuvius eruption. The food at the hotel is very well presented

Absolutely fantastic experience. The place is old school elegant without the stuffiness. We had a Prestige corner room (709) on the top floor. It had an impressive terrace with incredible views

My husband and I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori in Sorrento during our honeymoon, and I cannot speak highly enough of their exceptional staff and service

The hotel itself is a dream—luxurious, beautifully designed, with breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples, and top-notch amenities. It’s truly a stunning place to stay

Ludovica and Max at the front desk, and Giancarlo in the bar area. Next time in Sorrento, we will definitely be staying there again

Michel gave such great service at the bar with the freshest best orange juice and went out of his way to find sweeter wines for us (He may have climbed many steps to get it for us!) I will definitely come here again!

I remembered Michel who works at the front and another Michel at the pool and literally everyone in staff made it so comfortable for me, my baby (who they all adored) and my husband(he is not a city person so Sorrento was heaven for him!) We really did not want to leave at all

The staff at this hotel is amazing and goes about and beyond to make guests feel valued. Our favorite was Anna at the lobby bar. She was super friendly, made amazing drinks and always made sure we were tended to

The outdoor balcony music is too loud. The grounds are beautiful and the location cannot be better. The pool restaurant is very good despite the low budget Bahamas look to it

The food on the terrace was mediocre and overpriced (EUR 35 for a cocktail), though the drinks were quite good

This hotel was easily the best hotel out of our entire Italy trip. Camilla went above and beyond. We got to stay in the Royal Suite and it did not disappoint - the balcony is HUGE

We felt a warm welcome from the incredibly accommodating staff, from check-in to check out. The location is unbeatable for both the view and the walkability

Variety of food and wine are excellent but food hygiene is a little suspect and at dinner you see many of the veg not eaten at lunch

This hotel is good but not great. The biggest problem is that it's a TUI run hotel and nobody seems to own making the hotel deliver

The food is good but prefer buffet rather than a set menu. Was expecting a gown in the room with it being a sensimar hotel. No cash point and the walk to the nearest one is walk at your own risk busy road no pavements

Quite frankly I've never been treated better in my life, they genuinely can't do enough for you! Across the board fantastic service. Wild rabbits by the jacuzzis aren't for everyone but I loved them!

Everything is fabulous, our room, spotlessly clean, huge balcony, with view of Mount vesuvius. The staff, so friendly and helpful. We've taken bottles up to our balcony in the evening

Honestly I can't recommend this hotel enough. Aside from the spotless rooms, amazing views and incredible food the real stars are the staff

Her manager is a douce though when I said she was awesome he said maybe some times. She knew her cocktails and added some of ingredients and knew her stuff, shame on you bar manager maybe she deserves your job

Great location to explore the town. The food was good with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy throughout. Rooms kept clean. Great all round had a really nice stay

Number one recommendation for this place is Maria at the pool bar. She was friendly and efficient and just made us feel at home

We were annoyed as the hotel was petty enough to not offer us a wine opener when we asked for one and considering we had a great Borola it was small minded. Maria saves this hotel from a big raspberry rating

Is the best hotel we stayed in Italy and the view is gorgeous! Also a nice gesture from hotel that serve FOC snacks and drinks (including alcoholic) from 12pm to 7pm (probably low season)

There isn't anything negative to say about this gem, and waking up to views of the rocky shoreline and cliffs is just what this guy needed! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to town, so if you're unable or unwilling you may need to taxi into Sorrento

Wow! So we booked this hotel through an Orbitz deal (car / hotel) after many hours of trying to select the perfect hotel. The pictures looked great, but in the back of my mind I was preparing myself for disappointment

The staff showed us around the hotel when we got there, they have a great bar, restaurant, and then complimentary snacks and drinks all day in the lounge. We had a superior room with a balcony, and it was just perfect

Our first visit to the Bellevue Syrene was nothing short of spectacular. Perched on the cliffs overlooking the Bay of Naples, the hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views that alone would be worth the stay

The hotel's location in Sorrento made it easy to explore the town and take day trips to nearby landmarks like Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, but each return to the Bellevue felt like a retreat into a private, serene paradise

I recently spent a delightful day at Hotel Syrene in Sorrento, and it was an unforgettable experience. The dinner was a true explosion of flavors, with each dish offering a culinary adventure

Very nice hotel. Not new but clean. Good swimming pool. The stuff is very helpful. A little bit far from the canter but they have a shuttle service. Very nice sea view and privet beach.

Pool was closed in September which was disappointing. Decent rooms, good check in and staff. Amenities for the 4* hotel are provided by the 5* sister hotel in the same grounds and are excellent

With that being said the outdoor facilities are simply amazing - best view of the ocean! Nice pool, nice staff. Beach costs 20 euro per person per day. Really nice beach, but rather expensive

I will definitely be coming back here! They have fellow hotels near one another so you can use the pools and other facilities in other hotels which are just a few minute walk past a beautiful park, with lots of flowers, palm trees and gorgeous birds and sounds

Guests of La Residenza can take advantage of the beautiful gardens, pool and allowed access to the private beach! It isn’t slap bang in town, but easy walking distance and well worth it for all the extra facilities which you get here

This is one of my favorite properties in Sorrento. The location is excellent as it is a short walk into town and the staff there is amazing. I also loved the grounds behind the hotel, quiet and relaxing.

The location was perfect, room was great, and all of the staff were so friendly & helpful (and excellent with our kids, especially Rocco!) The pool was also a huge bonus! Would definitely recommend

The perfect location in Sorrento! 30 second walk to the main center shops, stop at the tiny market across the street which has the best fruit & is run by a sweet family

Nice location close to Sorrento but taxis are expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check out is at 10am and they close up the hotel on 1st November, a national holiday

1st class place to stay for a family friendly all inclusive holiday. The staff are super friendly, room quality is excellent. Air conditioned, towels supplied with no hidden extras

Room 208 had a shower, and room 207 had a bath/shower combo. Although there was some wear and tear, everything was still clean and in good working order. There was also complementary soap, shampoo, etc available

This hotel is in a good central location, very close to tra in station, restaurants and shopping. Very nice pool area, which is the perfect place to relax and cool off on hottest day and hotel time

The room was newly refurbished, quite and comfortable. It was also well cleaned and tidied every day. Teresa particularly, was always nice and helpful

One of my favorite hotels on the planet. There is nothing negative to say. The rooms are lovely, the views are spectacular, the terraces and poolside area give you a nearly 360 degree view of the harbor in Sorrento

Hotel Cristina is located high on a hill, with beautiful views of the city, ocean, and mountain in the distance. The room is very nice & clean with a small balcony

My wife and I stayed there on our Honeymoon for 5 days and the view was outstanding. Morning breakfast was very good, but unfortunately the restaurant closes down on September 30th each year

I regret I didn't review this magnificent place after nearly a year. The food is excellent, the staff is dedicated and professional. The deluxe double room with a view is fantastic

Half the jets in the large shower didnt work either but the rain showerhead was very nice. Also we did not know that the beach was an additional cost, as well as the rental of towels at their private beach

The view from this hotel is absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were a lot smaller than pictured and the shower was pretty weak, rarely had warm water and the bathroom was a bit small

Amazing hotel nestled in the hills above Sorrento. Small and welcoming with gorgeous food, and the staff are second to none, especially Gilda, Antonio, Giuliano, and our driver,Fabio

The views from the sea view room were so unbelievably amazing words cannot describe it, we just wanted to stay in the room and absorb every second of it! The whole hotel attention to detail was amazing to see and finally the service was great! They allowed us to keep our bags there when we checked out and enjoy their facilities like the Jacuzzi!

Decorated like a work of art itself with amazing views. Amazing food in the morning for breakfast. Best hotel I've stayed in to date. I'd Even go so far as to suggest this hotel itself is worthy as a vacation destination

The shower is large with a rain shower head. The AC kept the room cool and our balcony was a good size. The pool photos are rather deceiving as it is very small and wasn’t very clean when we stayed at the hotel

What a beautiful hotel! It's in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was very nice. The bathroom tub was huge and deep! I took off one star because the bed was as hard as plywood.

Hotel La Meridiana was the first hotel I stayed in during my trip to Italy. I am so grateful that I chose to stay here. I arrived early just hoping to drop off my bags but they let me check in early which was great

The rooms were perfectly cleaned each day. If you are ever in Sorrento this is the place to stay. I hope to come back next time if I am ever lucky enough to come back to Sorrento!

They even gave me a free upgrade to a balcony room without even asking! The location couldn't have been better since it was a short walk from Sorrento station and the city center

Simple, clean, staff very helpful. Parking right outside the hotel. Location is central Sorrento so it's easy to walk everywhere.
