Best Hotels in Sorrento

My wife and I had an amazing stay here in July. The room had a great AC that kept it nice and cool. The best part of the stay was the around the clock shuttle service to the Sorrento city center

Lovely hot shower and plenty of storage space for our belongings. Food was very good, especially on the Sunday and Thursday nights when they do an extra special dinner - definitely not to be missed

Just back from this beautiful hotel and grounds. A good choice of menu, and attentive staff. Fantastic views over the Bay of Naples worth paying a bit extra for a wonderful sea view room

We had room 341, large room and big bathroom. Free hotel bus to take you down to Sorrento town

Looks straight over to Mount Versuvios' views are stunning. Good choice of food whether it be breakfast, lunch by the pool or evening dinner. Rooms cleaned and towels replenished daily

Otherwise, everything else was fine. Comfy bed, helpful staff, good pool area. Breakfast wasn't bad, but only 2 options of hot food - pancakes or scrambled egg

Great hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, food the best I have had for a long time. No overpowering loud music. Would certainly recommend this hotel

This may be the best hotel I've ever been to! Everything from the staff to the room to food to the amenities was incredible

Michel gave such great service at the bar with the freshest best orange juice and went out of his way to find sweeter wines for us (He may have climbed many steps to get it for us!) I will definitely come here again!

The breakfast is one of the best breakfasts I've had

I remembered Michel who works at the front and another Michel at the pool and literally everyone in staff made it so comfortable for me, my baby (who they all adored) and my husband(he is not a city person so Sorrento was heaven for him!) We really did not want to leave at all

The staff at this hotel is amazing and goes about and beyond to make guests feel valued. Our favorite was Anna at the lobby bar. She was super friendly, made amazing drinks and always made sure we were tended to

The outdoor balcony music is too loud. The grounds are beautiful and the location cannot be better. The pool restaurant is very good despite the low budget Bahamas look to it

The food on the terrace was mediocre and overpriced (EUR 35 for a cocktail), though the drinks were quite good

This hotel was easily the best hotel out of our entire Italy trip. Camilla went above and beyond. We got to stay in the Royal Suite and it did not disappoint - the balcony is HUGE

We felt a warm welcome from the incredibly accommodating staff, from check-in to check out. The location is unbeatable for both the view and the walkability

Variety of food and wine are excellent but food hygiene is a little suspect and at dinner you see many of the veg not eaten at lunch

This hotel is good but not great. The biggest problem is that it's a TUI run hotel and nobody seems to own making the hotel deliver

The food is good but prefer buffet rather than a set menu. Was expecting a gown in the room with it being a sensimar hotel. No cash point and the walk to the nearest one is walk at your own risk busy road no pavements

Quite frankly I've never been treated better in my life, they genuinely can't do enough for you! Across the board fantastic service. Wild rabbits by the jacuzzis aren't for everyone but I loved them!

Everything is fabulous, our room, spotlessly clean, huge balcony, with view of Mount vesuvius. The staff, so friendly and helpful. We've taken bottles up to our balcony in the evening

Honestly I can't recommend this hotel enough. Aside from the spotless rooms, amazing views and incredible food the real stars are the staff

We arranged a private round trip transfer from Naples. Totally worth the $170 each way. Breakfast was very good and the staff was so attentive to my teenage daughter

We had a view of the ocean and beach clubs below, though the window was small, it still made for good photos. For our experience we felt like we had a good stay for the value (though we only spent 2 days in Sorrento)

This hotel was amazing!! The location is wonderful! You can walk everywhere from this hotel. The front desk staff always greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to answer any questions

Absolutely fantastic experience. The place is old school elegant without the stuffiness. We had a Prestige corner room (709) on the top floor. It had an impressive terrace with incredible views

Recently returned after 7 nights, hotel ideally situated being an easy 5 minute walk into town

On a plus, the beds are extremely comfortable. If you're a sun worshipper, this is not the hotel for you. 1 if you're lucky enough to get a lounger in the right spot. Bear in mind this could be different in summer months

We were also facing a wall, which was very disappointing as we thought that by booking through an agent over 9 months prior , we may get a room with a view of the pool or the garden

Good food served in the restaurant and plenty of it. Fantastic views of the Bay of Naples, Sorrento far below and Vesuvius in the far distance. Handy complimentary shuttle bus every hour to Sorrento and back

Great hotel with warm welcoming staff. The bus transfer to Sorrento is excellent and only takes 10 minutes. Views from the hotel are spectacular with a full panoramic of the bay of Naples.

Patio area unfortunately just faced a wall so the views were limited. Bathroom hairdryer was old and weak - could be updated. Reception staff were very helpful - organizing meal reservations and recommendations

This is our 3rd time here at the hotel. Its beautiful and the staff are so lovely on the reception. The hotel is in such a lovely location overlooking Sorrento

Our favourite time is at breakfast when you sit outside overlooking the city and hear it waking up with the hubbub of bikes and car horns below

It is situated on a cliff so a lot of the hotel is on different levels, with 5 pools that cascade into the next

We love coming here as it is a good launch point for reaching the Amalfi Coast and the history surrounding the Vesuvius eruption. The food at the hotel is very well presented

The hotel was old style but it all adds to the charm of the place and the grounds are stunning and our room was clean. We had our two year old with us and the Italians love to make a fuss of her which she loved

I was worried about my stay when I read the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Staff are very friendly and welcoming which I haven't felt in along time at a hotel. The guests there are also very friendly

Nice location close to Sorrento but taxis are expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check out is at 10am and they close up the hotel on 1st November, a national holiday

1st class place to stay for a family friendly all inclusive holiday. The staff are super friendly, room quality is excellent. Air conditioned, towels supplied with no hidden extras

Her manager is a douce though when I said she was awesome he said maybe some times. She knew her cocktails and added some of ingredients and knew her stuff, shame on you bar manager maybe she deserves your job

Number one recommendation for this place is Maria at the pool bar. She was friendly and efficient and just made us feel at home

We were annoyed as the hotel was petty enough to not offer us a wine opener when we asked for one and considering we had a great Borola it was small minded. Maria saves this hotel from a big raspberry rating

My wife and I stayed there on our Honeymoon for 5 days and the view was outstanding. Morning breakfast was very good, but unfortunately the restaurant closes down on September 30th each year

Half the jets in the large shower didnt work either but the rain showerhead was very nice. Also we did not know that the beach was an additional cost, as well as the rental of towels at their private beach

The view from this hotel is absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were a lot smaller than pictured and the shower was pretty weak, rarely had warm water and the bathroom was a bit small

Very helpful staff, excellent location, easily walkable to reach the happening part of the town. Staff went above and beyond to help us familiarize with the location and provided all the helpful tips and information

Views across the bay were excellent. Rooftop pool was lovely, the perfect size (albeit a bit cold!) and the bar was reasonably priced

We stayed in the non-accessible sea view room on the bottom floor and it was absolutely perfect - secluded from the main villa, we barely saw any other residents. Highly recommend the breakfast every morning

It’s a bit of a walk into Sorrento town (15 min or so) and a taxi will cost you €25 each way despite being less than 5 minutes, but the walk isn’t too bad. Altogether, would highly recommend!

Our group really enjoyed our visit to Sorrento and our stay with Tasso Suites. The lobby staff were very accommodating and made several suggestions when we asked them for good local places to eat and drink

Tasso Suites is a good Hotel if not exceptional. Rooms have adequate space, service is good and workers are nice. Rooms are modern and very clean. The breakfast is pretty good too as far as Italian hotels go

It is a private and very relaxing experience. The rooms were not huge but perfect for what we needed and very comfortable. They were also much nicer than we had initially anticipated. So glad we chose Hotel Tasso!

Great central location next to taxi services & the beach! Make sure to visit more inland for a more authentic experience. The port is within walking distance along either plenty of shops cafes & restaurants

The breakfast buffet was okay, it was a bit heavy on the breads/carbohydrates for me. The interior of the of the hotel was all different hues of blues to match the Gulf of Naples!

I had the most amazing 3 day stay at the Hotel Parco dei Principi in Sorento. The hotel has the most amazing views of the sea anywhere - the rooms are quiet and the beds very comfortable

The restaurant is outstanding and I had some great meals. I have to add that Jana arranged a private day tour to Pompeii and Herculaneum which was a real highlight of my stay

The restaurant in the hotel was one of the best dinners we had in Sorrento, with the most beautiful views at sunset, and the private beach club was absolutely stunning and felt super luxurious! It was equally as beautiful in the mornings on the terrace for breakfast, overlooking the water

My husband and I stayed at Grand Hotel Riviera for our honeymoon back in July, and it was one of our favourite stops on our trip. Everything about this hotel was a dream

The common areas are nicely decorated and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The private beach club is well conceived and a plus, and the pool is great with an amazing view

But our favourite thing about the hotel was the incredibly kind and attentive staff. Mario & Vittorio at the private beach club were wonderful people to get to know

They made our experience a memorable one, and we enjoyed heading down to the water and having a chat with them every day! Gianni at the front desk was also incredible in helping us from the moment we checked in, to the day we left - even making numerous calls on our behalf to rental car companies when our rental car booking fell through

There is a very reliable shuttle service to and from Sorrento centre run by the hotel Thank you so much. We will see you next year when we will be bringing our friends along. I would recommend this hotel to everyone

Thank you so much for a beautiful stay at your hotel. We came for the first time in May with my sister and brother in law, we enjoyed it so much that we came back on our own in August

We had a separate menu with a limited choice ( as part of half board), having said that the staff was always offering options to make changes and get me something else since I am a pescatarian

The view is spectacular, the food delicious and the staff are all amazing at their job. The pool is very relaxing with olive trees, and the pool supervisors are always on hand

They came around with the cart often. The patio by the pool overlooking the bay is excellent. Comfortable seating areas to enjoy. For the price would not stay here if we returned to Sorrento

There isn't anything negative to say about this gem, and waking up to views of the rocky shoreline and cliffs is just what this guy needed! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to town, so if you're unable or unwilling you may need to taxi into Sorrento

Wow! So we booked this hotel through an Orbitz deal (car / hotel) after many hours of trying to select the perfect hotel. The pictures looked great, but in the back of my mind I was preparing myself for disappointment
