Lovely afternoon Sunday lunch on the terrace with stunning views of Sorrento coast with wonderful food and excellent service.

What a great dining experience this was on the outside Terrace overlooking the bay of Naples. The food, although very pricy, is worth every penny

I guess is the best hotel in town and one of the best of the Amalfi Coast. Service is top notch even if sometimes a bit robotic. Nevertheless, they were very helpful

It is delicious, served by professional staff (I have only praise); the location and views are breathtaking. It will blow you away; it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you will NOT regret

My first impressions were that it has once been a very grand hotel with beautiful decor and impressive gardens that now looks a little tired and dated in some places. However, this adds to the charm

The bbq night was our favourite. The pork was the best I’ve ever eaten and I went back for seconds. There was also a choice of ribs, steak and chicken thighs. Breakfast had a variety of food to choose from

I loved that the porters took our cases up to our room which allowed us time to get lunch on arrival. The air con was good, beds were comfy, the bedding was changed regularly and a safe was included

Super hotel handily placed to explore the Amalfi coast and the popular tourist destinations. The food was excellent and varied, with friendly staff. Small queues for food and drink

WiFi was good so we watched things on our devices when we came back after a busy day

The room was clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast was one of the best I’ve experienced with meats, cheeses, eggs, pastries, fresh fruits

Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was very underwhelming, weak selection of food and terrible coffee. Overall, the quality/price ratio was not very good

The view was obstructed by the trees, so unfortunately our "sea view room" had the Vesuvius blocked! Still nice to have a balcony with a good view

Daily breakfast was plentiful and some gluten free options. Shower curtain was a dislike, but that's personal taste. Pool area is an attraction especially in summer months I imagine. Alot of space, deck chairs and a bar

The location was perfect, room was great, and all of the staff were so friendly & helpful (and excellent with our kids, especially Rocco!) The pool was also a huge bonus! Would definitely recommend

I watched the sunset for 2 days. The breakfast was also good (I was not used to the dinner but the service was good 😄). It is a 15-minute walk from the pier

Michel gave such great service at the bar with the freshest best orange juice and went out of his way to find sweeter wines for us (He may have climbed many steps to get it for us!) I will definitely come here again!

Everything was wonderful and the breakfast was very good. The roof top bar upstairs was very romantic, and there were also people playing songs. It was a wonderful evening.

Perched on a cliffside overlooking the sea, the views are simply breathtaking—especially at sunset. The hotel has a private beach deck, accessible by elevator, which was a unique and relaxing place to unwind

Variety of food and wine are excellent but food hygiene is a little suspect and at dinner you see many of the veg not eaten at lunch

This hotel is good but not great. The biggest problem is that it's a TUI run hotel and nobody seems to own making the hotel deliver

The food is good but prefer buffet rather than a set menu. Was expecting a gown in the room with it being a sensimar hotel. No cash point and the walk to the nearest one is walk at your own risk busy road no pavements

Everything is fabulous, our room, spotlessly clean, huge balcony, with view of Mount vesuvius. The staff, so friendly and helpful. We've taken bottles up to our balcony in the evening

Thank you so much for a beautiful stay at your hotel. We came for the first time in May with my sister and brother in law, we enjoyed it so much that we came back on our own in August

Starts at 9 am so if you want to go earlier you will need to walk down the hill or take an over priced taxi. The shuttle does have a late last pick from town which is really nice

Hotel has beautiful views of the Bay. A free shuttle service is available to take up and down the hill. Shuttle does not start until 9 am so if you have an early excursion you will need to get a taxi

So you cannot enjoy it after a long day or under the stars. While waiting for our driver to depart my adult children went to get a bottle of water from the breakfast buffet

Would highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. Staff were beyond professional and very friendly. I have traveled all over Europe and this was one of my best stays

Although the decoration is simple, it is clean and comfortable. The location is good, right on the beach. You can see the sea view when you open the room. The room has a balcony and there is a paid parking lot

We vacationed all over the world and I’m not sure a view will beat this one! The weather was unfortunately not cooperative so we did not get to have lunch at the restaurant on property however those views were also beautiful! The art on the property is mesmerizing, you can get lost just looking around at all the unique pieces

Pool was closed in September which was disappointing. Decent rooms, good check in and staff. Amenities for the 4* hotel are provided by the 5* sister hotel in the same grounds and are excellent

With that being said the outdoor facilities are simply amazing - best view of the ocean! Nice pool, nice staff. Beach costs 20 euro per person per day. Really nice beach, but rather expensive

I will definitely be coming back here! They have fellow hotels near one another so you can use the pools and other facilities in other hotels which are just a few minute walk past a beautiful park, with lots of flowers, palm trees and gorgeous birds and sounds

Guests of La Residenza can take advantage of the beautiful gardens, pool and allowed access to the private beach! It isn’t slap bang in town, but easy walking distance and well worth it for all the extra facilities which you get here

Tony the head waiter at the restaurant is an absolute “Fantastico” person! We so looked forward to meals and our interactions over our 5 day stay in this magical place

Breakfast was so good, they helped us with getting around town and getting to the islands. The room is big and super clean. The shuttle bus is so convenient and the driver is so nice and polite

Stopped just for a coffee. The coffee was good and the lady that served us was real nice. Nice panoramic from the terrace.

Quite high up from Sorrento, the views of Sorrento, Mount Vesuvius and Naples is second to none! There is a free shuttle service every hour transporting guests to and from Sorrento. The pool area is also really nice

This hotel is in a great location with the most incredible views of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius! Although it is not in easy walking distance of Sorrento, the hotel has a free shuttle bus to get to and from the town, which we found to be reliable

Breakfast was well organised with plenty of choice. The food for dinner was fantastic, very tasty and varied with plenty of choice. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and all spoke very good English

I emailed my excursion requirements, they replied promptly with booking confirmations and I paid for them at the hotel when we left. We did the Amalfi Drive and Pompeii/Vesuvius which were excellent

The hotel had free wifi which had good reception everywhere. We booked two excursions through the hotel which were well organised with good tour guides

I had heard that Sorrento can be a little expensive and was expecting a higher bill but was pleasantly surprised. After dinner the hotel provided relaxing entertainment in the form of a singer or mandolin player

The sea view room is beautiful, and the environment of the ordinary room is also very good. The most noteworthy thing is the Michelin restaurant in the hotel. The black truffle pasta is the best I have ever eaten

There’s a private beach down the way, with an incredible lunch spot on site, with the best lemon cello spritz I have ever had. It was incredible getting to relax on that beach all day

They ended up upgrading our room to an apartment with working ac and they even gifted us a set of their incredible olive oil that they make on site (we bought 3 more sets because we loved it so much) our room was absolutely incredible and we loved our stay so much

They even had kayaks and a paddle board we could use for free. We took them out almost everyday and discovered a beautiful swimming hole to the right. The lunch we had was amazing

And the downtown Sorrento was really fun too. They also offered a shuttle service free of charge! This hotel truly goes above and beyond to make sure you love your time here

They have kitties running around and a beautiful dog named Cleo. I fell in love with the animals and one of the cats named princess watched the sunset with me every night

We ate there a few times and loved it. When we first checked in, our rooms ac wasn’t working and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable

One of the best hotels we have ever had the pleasure of staying. We had a spacious corner room with a huge balcony. The staff were amazing, pleasant, and thoughtful. The food in the restaurant was excellent

My wife and I stayed there on our Honeymoon for 5 days and the view was outstanding. Morning breakfast was very good, but unfortunately the restaurant closes down on September 30th each year

I regret I didn't review this magnificent place after nearly a year. The food is excellent, the staff is dedicated and professional. The deluxe double room with a view is fantastic

Most of the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were fine — nothing particularly special, but clean and with excellent air conditioning which was essential in the heat

When we asked about facilities like showers and changing rooms, the hotel’s attitude completely shifted. Suddenly we were treated like an inconvenience rather than guests who had spent well over £1,000 for a stay

They insisted we had to leave the room by 11am and could only use the pool until 1pm — after which, we were left with nowhere to shower or get ready, in 33°C heat, before our flight home

I understand that hotels don’t have to provide post-checkout facilities, but it’s the attitude and lack of basic hospitality that really disappointed us — especially for the price paid

When we politely raised this, the manager was incredibly rude, dismissive and argumentative, even speaking over us rather than offering any solutions or even basic courtesy

One downside was the shower, which would flood the bathroom floor every time it was used, which was frustrating. Unfortunately, our experience was soured on our final day
