Where to stay in Tirrenia

Hotel a little dated. Good location for a quiet experience. 20 minutes to Pisa and about an hour by train to Florence. Good quaint little city with small shops.

Still my fave hotel on med coast of Italy. Older property done right. Service is outstanding, free breakfast is delish, private beach and Olympic pool are delightful. I have seen lots of group events here and everyone seems to be quite satisfied. I’ve not eaten in the main dining room but I’d expect it to be of the same careful quality.

We always enjoy staying here right on the beach with a beach bar and massive swimming pool that is never packed out with people.

This hotel is tied for the finest hotel I've been in with the Mandarin Oriental in San Francisco. The location, on the beach, is second to none. The best part of this hotel is the staff, they are some of the finest people I've ever met. They are friendly, helpful, accommodating to your every need.

We loved the location of this hotel. The views from our balcony were beautiful! We kept the window open at night and could hear the waves from the sea all night. Pretty good hotel. Best location. When it’s windy though, impossible to sleep with everything banging around on the roof. Room was nice and clean, ocean view. Breakfast is your typical cheap variety of foods. Nothing special. Bacon, eggs, pastries, breads, juice, Italian coffee machine, and of course, like every Italian hotel, a pot of terrible American coffee.

Very decent rooms, clean and modern. Not up to a 5 star hotel standard though. Other than the beautiful beach front, it’s overpriced.

Room was modern and clean, staff was friendly. However, this is not a 5-star hotel! 3 stars at best: Lousy service, no beach/pool towels, mediocre breakfast, gotta pay extra for everything, very disorganized at times. Probably somewhat comparable to an ALoft hotel in the US, decent, but not 5 stars.

This Resort is a lovely place for people who want easy going holidays on the beach. We were lucky to have a very big and nice room with balcony. Very good 3 stars hotel but DEFINITELY NOT 5 stars. Everything is missing ( safe box, slippers .... etc) The service is very expensive. The gentleman ( with barbe) in the desk is DEFINITELY NOT CORRESPONDING to 5 stars hotel: very arrogant very unpleasant ( had impression that we are not welcomed in that hotel)

The hotel is new, beautiful, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, especially Alessandro, there is a swimming pool for adults and children, its own beach, I really liked everything. We vacationed with two children, they were satisfied

Great place where to spend your holidays. Positives: great personnel from the reception to the pool bar and the dinner service. Special mention to Franco who has been serving my family magnificently and to Davide at the bar whose single macchiatos are unrivalled. Lots of green and always ventilated - even when it is very hot you hardly feel it. Rooms were comfy and well cleaned. Nice swimming pools...

The room was not very clean. The cleaning service had no fixed hours, so you could hear them cleaning from 7 to 16. No way to plan your stay during the day. The hotel was “new and nice” 10 years ago. Now it should have 2-3 stars instead of 4. Not up to the standard it thinks it is.

Nice hotel, room was spacious and clean although perhaps a little bit dated (a refurb would make it even better). Restaurant was great, I really did enjoy the food. Outdoor swimming pool was nice. Unfortunately the spa was closed because of the covid restrictions.

Nice spot to pass by. There are not a lot of things to do. I would say the hôtel is quite an old one and overall I suggest it to be only a passing by point if you did not find anything else. Staff is polite.

Dated hotel but nothing really wrong with it. Stayed in apartment for one night. Plenty of space and clean. Breakfast was OK. Hotel has beach club 10 minutes walk away but umbrellas cost extra. Nice sand and clean water. Hotel has tennis court and small but nice pool. Also table tennis table and equipment for hire.

The room is not new, but it is in good conditions, clean and spacious. The bathroom is large as well and recently renovated too. Breakfast is fine.

The Hotel is getting a bit on in years. The 4 stars are probably still 1971 ? The bathroom was renovated. The room 704 is very simple and clean. The balcony is very generous. The TV is a mini with lots of Italian channels. With one exception, all of the electrical outlets in the rooms conform to the Italian Standard, the unit is plug (D) does not fit. Free Wi-Fi in the whole building for multiple devices...

It is not the first time that you participate in an event with lunch. The structure is elegant, practical for the conference/awards, and refreshments with lunch always quality and served without loss of time.

The place is very suitable for a vacation with small children, the room was wide, the bathroom too, the breakfast was nice. In the evening there is a program for children. It has its own pool and exit to the beach. Two sunbeds with an umbrella on the first line are paid 35€ per day. and parking €10 per day. A quiet place for a family holiday.

Very nice location by a number of beaches. Rooms and baths are on smaller but super clean. They have an affordable buffet breakfast for 7 euros per person (no take out) We enjoyed our stay. Staff is friendly, they recommended place to eat with discounts. I I would recommend that the upgrade the patio furniture - one broke on us.

Clean. Shower was good, hot water all day. Price a bit high. Walls very thin - can hear people snoring above, below and in next door rooms. Would not stay here again. Accommodation in this area in general is expensive and mediocre quality

We traveled in late September, after the summer season. so many of the restaurants are closed for the season. we enjoyed the quietness of the area, across the street is the beach. we used the bicycles the hotel offered to ride to the market square and down to the marina to shop and eat. there are buses not far from the hotel to get around also, we rode the bus to get back to train station. the...

Very relaxed and friendly staff, who just cannot do enough to keep you happy, great pool and tennis court, easy walk into a Tirrenia for evening meals, and or the local bus service. Locally a co-op for essential shopping and ready made lunches. Breakfast buffet has just about everything, and a selection of freshly made coffee to order.

It's OK, nice service. Considering the price, it is as you would expect. Nice selection of cable channels to compensate for not having a balcony! Not sure it is as child friendly as the advert suggests, pool is basically for adults, rooms are designed for adults and the breakfast is really just for adults.

Nice renovated resort, but keeping the building as it was when it was built!! Beautiful swimming pool, efficient staff and reasonable prices!!! A nice place with a beautiful pool. We were at a party with a buffet in the pool, the bathroom at night and the next evening dance.

The Euro Hotel is an OK Option for short stays. We used it for a night away after a ferry ride to Livorno. Rooms can be noisy due to the road in front and you might hear your neighbors. But they are clean and otherwise fine. There is a n always open parking in the backyard. Breakfast was better than expected and better than stated in other reviews with some Italian sweets, bread, cheese, salami, joghurt...

Simple accommodation right along the beach front. The service was really nice - and very flexible when it came to changing rooms because one had a strong after smell of smoke. The facilities are relatively old - but if you are looking for a place close to the beach it’s a good spot.

Some of the staff is friendly, a part of sullen. The breakfast is poor, coffee add. The rooms are not very big. But close to the sea, Pisa is 20 minutes by car.

Massimo and Gino are the best! Massimo speak very good English and it was also nice to hear him singing while he worked. The other employees were good too! Very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are nice. spacious, clean and well appointed. The beach across the road is superb. Recommended to all Canadians and North Americans.

The hotel definitely needs renovation, but the swimming pool is great, veranda is cozy. Be ready that you can be bitten by insects in the evenings

I LIVED IN TIRRENIA ALMOST 4 YEARS AND MY FIRSTBORN SON WAS BORN IN LIVORNO. A FANTASTIC PLACE AND PEOPLE. LOVED EVERY DAY I WAS THERE.

Great place to stay! Big appartements, with lots of space. Be aware of the noise of the other appartements (it is really noisy). And be aware of the season. After the end of September the pool and beach closes. We had a great time, also since it is near Pisa.

Went there for a work event. The place I absolutely stunning and we ate quite well. I raccomand it for any event.

The public areas are nice, the entrance and surroundings need attention. The apartment I stayed in is perfect for a week vacation, if you don't mind pull out sofa beds up to 4 people can sleep there

I have been with the family a week in one of the apartments. The structure is beautiful, and the apartment spacious for 3/4 people. at the center of the complex and a large swimming pool, where, however, the best places in the sun, are reserved to the owners of the apartments. some painful notes, at the arrival the room had to be ready at 14.30 but before 16.30 we are not able to enter for cleaning...

Good Hotel great for extended stay customers, big mini fridge, microwave in the common space wifi. It is still close to the beach. The staff is very accommodating and they let us grill out back. It is an older building and you will be climbing some stairs no matter what room you get.

This is a great place to stay when Pcsing. Americans, please note that resort means something else in America then it does here. They supply you with a kitchenette thats big enough to squeeze by in till you can find a permanent home. The price is right. Many, many good features, just some "American" ones are looked over

This is the perfect hotel for long-term business or pleasure. Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 3 months with my wife and 5yo while working at Camp Darby. Location is great, 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. 10 minute drive from Camp Darby, 15 minute drive to the airport, and 20 minute drive to the leaning tower of Pisa. We came to Tirenia from Poland for two weeks. A great holiday for a reasonable price. We had an apartment with access to a lawn in a house near Via dei Pioppi, its size for a three-person family was sufficient. There was a swimming pool, parking and free WiFi. A very lovely place to stay. The apartments are very spatious and clean. The domain is huge and well maintained. They offer all the necessary facilities. So it is just perfect to relax and enjoy a nice holiday.

What a fantastic place to stay. The grounds are beautiful with a little animal farm, which our 1 year old daughter loved. Special thanks to the staff who were all very welcoming, friendly and gave us tips and tricks on where to visit, making our stay even better. I don’t often want to revisit places, but here I would.

Nice place! Middle of nowhere (better have a car to get there), very nice forest near, cafes and shops - in 2-3km. Recommended to relax from people presence. Have a not heated swimming pool, football field, and big territory.

A very nice place. Airport is nearby and planes are loud to hear but the rooms are very good and the pool is really great. The bistro is very good as well. If you don't mind the planes, I can recommend the place.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at La Fattoria. The kids loved the soccer pitch, table tennis and swimming pool. The location is very central and beautiful. Our cottage was new, clean and modern, very spacious and bright. As we tended to eat in most evenings we would have liked more crockery and cutlery.
