Enjoyed this hotel tremendously. Located in the quaint city of Trabia. A train station is nearby to take day trips to Cefalù or Palermo. The hotel has a little beach to hang out in. The breakfast comes with the stay and includes great coffee, pastries, fruit, scrambled eggs. Staff is very friendly, including the manager Angela. Note that the water in the room is not free of charge.

We stayed two nights here. The staff tried to be helpful when on checking in to our room we let them know the air conditioning and the shutters were broken but the hotel was full and the only alternative room was much closer to the event space so would have been noisier. As it was the hotel is in a good location for the castle venue next door but not for those seeking a good nights sleep. The views are lovely. The pool is good but needs cleaning more regularly. And if you want breakfast go early (it is usually open from 7.30am due to coach parties). Finally, it turned out tv wasn’t working either so from our perspective not the best of experiences for a 4 star hotel .

The hotel is very old, the breakfast is very poor. The rooms are very dated(like in the early 80s) and the toilet is the worst part. The service is no customer friendly, we were charged 10 euros for two extra towels. The AC was making an annoying noise 24/7. For sure it's not a 4 star hotel, the prices need to get decreased.

Sadly but i have to do this mark. If the proce for a night was 80€ then okay, but for 130€ you expect that the room is comfortable, that it is clean, and that it does not smell after mold...they were kind enough to change us a room, but still. It seem like managment of the hotel is not okay, also the rooms are old..

Rented a room at this hotel for a long weekend with my fiancée. On the first night we came to our room in the evening. We could immediately hear loud music. We soon found out that our “seaside” room that we paid extra for was right outside a terrace where the venue was holding a wedding. The dance floor was right outside our room. The party went well past 1am. Such a huge disappointment. No rest. No peace. Just loud DJ music on a night where all we wanted to do was rest. All the concierge could tell me was “I’m sorry” and that the “music would be done soon.” Too little, far too late. I would not recommend this place to anyone UNLESS your wedding party buys out all the seaside rooms…and you don’t want sleep until 2am.

Its not like pictures, must be taken many years ago. Beach was dirty and not like pictures. Room a bit old, smell in bathroom. Indoor pool is closed, only open in winter. Outside pool was dirty area, sunbeds need to be cleaned, they close outside area 18.
To get to parking, you need to cross a busy road and walk a little. Need to take out suitcases down at hotel. Breakfast was another thing, there was a bus with a lot of people, they ete early, but hotel did not put out new food. Plates was empty everywhere, and only some bread left. After 30 minute i left, still no one come with more food, fruit, or anything. So make sure you dont stay there when there is a bus load with people.
Restaurant in evening was very nice and food was really good.

I organised a professional seminar with 70 people over 3 days in the hôtel. Everything was perfect, from the réception to the meeting room as well as thé restaurant with our grateful Maître Roni.

Stayed 3 nights due to maintenance work on the boat I was on.
Reading the bad reviews, I was positively surprised when staying there.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
It is an old building (old tuna fish factory, I think). The building seem to be well maintained and upgraded so it is a nice balance of old history and modern amenities to make the stay comfortable.
All common areas are tidy, clean and spacious.
Situated at the seaside with a very nice garden/ outdoor area between the hotel and the beach.
Nice breakfast, typical Italian I think, with sweets, but also other things to choose from, more familiar for a northern European.
Very nice lunch and dinner served in the restaurant.
My room was fine with a view towards the beach. Nice firm bed.
It is a short walk to the city center and nice to have a look around there.
(The only negative I can think of was the internet connection. It was mostly not working so one star from service pulled off there)

Location is nice but that’s about all this hotel has for itself.
They literally are by a wedding venue, and yet they don’t have an iron, absolutely unacceptable, and the personnel is not helpful in any way shape or form.
Breakfast was also very uneventful.

Shameful service. They are next to a wedding venue and we asked for an iron to iron a shirt for the wedding we were attending. They claim that they don’t have an iron. What sort of hotel does not have one single iron. They told us we were too late for the laundry service to iron it and offered no alternative. Really unhelpful and don’t care attitude from the lady at the reception with the shoulder length curly hair.
The next morning I heard someone ask her for toothpaste and she just shook her head and said ‘no’ with the same dismissive, don’t care attitude. Could have suggested where the nearest shop was at the very least.
Breakfast was a shame.
