The hotel is absolutely stunning. The room was nice, just like the bathroom. The staff was nice and friendly, you just have to follow their instructions with breakfast and everything will be fine. Breakfast was very delicious. Would definitely come back here!!

Staff was unwelcoming and not very invested in their role of hospitality. Their lack of effort for advice and help was extremely anemic. For this reason alone I would not go back.

Excellent stay at this hotel. Great staff, recently refurbished rooms. Nice pool and beach, and access to some great campsite pools and parks nearby (part of the same family). Made for a really pleasant stay with our three young children. Would highly recommend and will definitely return one day.

Great and cheap hotel. The pool is very good, but you have to wear swim caps. I was there already several times, and it was always nice to stay here. It is a bit farther away from the city, but it makes for a nice evening walk. There are a few restaurants nearby too, so if you don't want to walk too far, that is also an option. Great Hotel. Service was good and professional. Breakfast could’ve been a bit better in terms of quality, but there were enough options for everyone. The pool is very nice and the poolbar/restaurants has a great menu for good prices.

We stayed at Chi Ghinn in August and could not recommend it more. We were greeted by the owner, Adolfo, who kindly carried our bags to our room. Everything was immaculate and the view spectacular. Dinner, cooked by Adolfo, was excellent, with the same fabulous view and charming staff. Breakfast was also delicious - everything home made and beautifully presented, again. We will be back!

What a pleasure to stay at Chi Ghinn: it is a unique experience we will not forget. It is a charming place with great views on the lake, very refined and delicious meals. Breakfast is just perfect and has homemade breads, jams, yogurt, and freshly squeezed juice… The staff is very welcoming and happy to help. We highly recommend.

We arrived at the Cloister Hotel on a very hot summer day. And no one at reception even looked at us or greeted us until we made a point of saying we needed to check in. When we eventually got our keys, we found our way to the room, which was down a musty smelling hall, through an old lounge area. I was visiting the Lago Maggiore Area with a group of people, we stayed at this hotel, and it was the best choice. The Hotel is facing the lake, the service was excellent and the staff are very friendly. The Breakfast offered was nice and has a variety which made everyone happy with their choice. The restaurant next door is a plus for a good Italian food experience.

I had 2 wonderful days on the Lake maggiore! I could not pick a better location. The hotel is located in an antic palace that made me feel like nobility in the 18th century. Great location, friendly staff (spoke both German and English) and spacious rooms. If you are lucky you can find a free parking spot right next to the water close to the hotel. But the also offer free parking services.

Europalace exceeded all expectations. We got a corner lake view room and it was absolutely stunning! The hotel room was spacious, clear and you could tell that the bathrooms had recently been renovated. The location is perfect, and walkable to all the necessary areas around. The only difficult thing is getting to the hotel. If you take the train, just know there is a bus stop that is slightly hidden...

It is a great option for a hotel near the lake. It is quite clean, but not perfectly clean inside. There should be made some improvements in there, but I appreciate that the bed sheets and towels were clean like new, in general the rooms are clean, but I think some details are left behind (I found little spider webs in the room, some rust in the shower, some pieces of furniture are a little deteriorated...

Rooms were clean and big. Staff were all very friendly and nice. Breakfast was ok. Location is very good, close to many bars and restaurants. However AC did not work most of the time. Also it's not really an "AC". Moreover "lake view" is a view of the old boat station which limits the lake view. The wifi in our room didn't work.

Nice pleasant room, nothing special. Very clean, nice staff. Bed wasn't exceptionally comfortable, and shower was quite small. The staff lended us a converted from Italian to Swiss sockets. The breakfast buffet had many options, both salty and sweet, and even had scrambled eggs.

Very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely! The air con worked really well considering it was a hot day and the room was quiet as well. Perfect location for exploring the Borromean Islands too.

My wife and I have been vacationing at the Novara hotel for four years. They make us feel at home, the room and cleanliness are impeccable, the staff is exceptional and the restaurant is top notch. Good lunch here...but the usual rip off for wayer from unsealed bottles and 5 euros for a few bits of bread. Sad it spoilt how I felt about my lunch.

Restaurant of Beata Giovannina is on a beautiful location, just next to the lake! You can enjoy beautiful view, while tasting traditional italian cuisine! Very good on pasta with fish and don't miss to eat apple pie with ice cream!

Hotel in an old villa with 10 rooms run by a married couple. Our room was simply furnished, in the bathroom everything was available that you need. Good location about 200 meters from the promenade, in a few minutes you are in the center with narrow streets and many shops. Free parking in front of the house. Breakfast as a buffet with very good juice made from blood oranges and sparkling wine.
