Rooms with high standard and the onecwe got on front with sea view Breakfast with a lot to choose from. Only remark AC was not working as warmer season was not here. Coming from nordics an AC is always welcom regardless of season.

I was visiting the Lago Maggiore Area with a group of people, we stayed at this hotel, and it was the best choice. The Hotel is facing the lake, the service was excellent and the staff are very friendly. The Breakfast offered was nice and has a variety which made everyone happy with their choice. Enviable position overlooking the wonderful lake. Rooms a little dated but very clean and with everything you need. Reserved parking is a 5-minute walk away. The restaurant is open at busy times so I didn't get to try it. The breakfast in the morning is basic with not much alternative.

It is a great option for a hotel near the lake. It is quite clean, but not perfectly clean inside. Europalace exceeded all expectations. We got a corner lake view room and it was absolutely stunning! The hotel room was spacious, clear and you could tell that the bathrooms had recently been renovated. The location is perfect, and walkable to all the necessary areas around. Nice pleasant room, nothing special. Very clean, nice staff. Bed wasn't exceptionally comfortable, and shower was quite small. The staff lended us a converted from Italian to Swiss sockets. The breakfast buffet had many options, both salty and sweet, and even had scrambled eggs.

There are about 60 steep curves from Verbania until one reaches the top of Monterosso where the hotel is. But once you overcome those obstacles, you have the most beautiful view over Lago Maggiore (including Isola Bella), excellent home-made meals from local ingredients and relaxing atmosphere.

Impassable and winding access road in the middle of the woods (you have to do some hairpin bends in double maneuver because the car cannot turn) but you immediately forget as soon as you arrive: you are welcomed by a pleasant silence broken only by birdsong and a fantastic view which stretches from the lake below to the Swiss Alps. I state that I was there only to eat for dinner. Nice place with a calm atmosphere. It is quite casual and one feels at home. The service is not the fastest but it is still functional. On the downside, the road is quite steep and full of tight hairpin bends. I don't recommend it much for those who suffer from motion sickness. My wife and I have been vacationing at the Novara hotel for four years. They make us feel at home, the room and cleanliness are impeccable, the staff is exceptional and the restaurant is top notch. Good lunch here...but the usual rip off for wayer from unsealed bottles and 5 euros for a few bits of bread. Sad it spoilt how I felt about my lunch.

Chalets are rather cramped but having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Aircon did just enough to make it comfortable for sleeping at night. Cooking options are limited but a nice big fridge freezer to stash the beer and wine. Pool was never busy and kept immaculately clean. We stayed at Chi Ghinn in August and could not recommend it more. We were greeted by the owner, Adolfo, who kindly carried our bags to our room. Everything was immaculate and the view spectacular. Dinner, cooked by Adolfo, was excellent, with the same fabulous view and charming staff. Breakfast was also delicious - everything home made and beautifully presented, again. We will be back!

What a pleasure to stay at Chi Ghinn: it is a unique experience we will not forget. It is a charming place with great views on the lake, very refined and delicious meals.
