We have stayed at this Hotel a few times & is very comfortable. Various rooms to choose from depending on your budget. A lot of up dates have taken place, adding a beach area. In the center of town where numerous restaurants are available but do a search to find the right ones.

At first, we had a smaller room, really a bit too small to walk in it, and a strange smell, from the AC but the management was quick to offer us an alternative room! The facilities are beautiful the price to not include breakfast and the parking that they have is per hour every time that you go in and out, it’s not that close to Baveno or Stresa unfortunately during our stay, it was raining a lot, but the facilities are beautiful. Decoration in their rooms are fantastic.

My intended booking was at splendid hotel in lugano but once I went there I realised that it was at baveno 😅 ,so I took a taxi for 350 euro to go there . Stayed in Hotel Beau Rivage on a recent family holiday. The experience was amazing from the outset. The staff were welcoming, friendly and extremely professional. There was an excellent selection of food for breakfast and evening meals. I look forward to staying in the hotel on any return trips and would highly recommend.

Hotel was in a great location, very modern clean rooms. Dining was not to good with limited choice and not worth the money, food never really hot. The location was fantastic right on the main road across from the lake side. The staff were very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Rosa. The staff we extremely helpful, providing excellent tips for dinner and even booking tables for us. All of which were within a 10 minute walk. Honestly, it's more of a 3-star than a 4-star. Very basic, the price is excessive for the amenities offered; it feels more like a renovated apartment. However, they happily accept pets. Very impressed with this hotel. From the hospitality, cleanliness, location, and views, it has been an amazing stay with my wife and parents. The breakfast selection offered variety, along with fresh coffee served at my leisure. Situated very close to the ferrys at Baveno. Our room had a partial lake view and a nice balcony. Housekeeping was excellent. We didn't eat at the restaurant, so cannot comment on that. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Room on the top floor has a magnificent view! There is also a terrace open to all guests up there if you want to buy something to eat and drink and enjoy the view. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, AC worked well and bathroom was modern. The hotel is in a great location close to the lake shore.

I've stayed in Baveno several times and this hotel is by far and away the best hotel that I have been fortunate enough to stay at here. Great location, very secure parking, very pleasant staff and breakfast is ok. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Cozy and somewhat simple hotel nicely situated in Baveno close to the church and the promenade. The pool area is quite small so you shouldn’t plan on taking a day by the pool. Fine breakfast however nothing fancy. You have the possibility to park outside in the private parking area or in the garage. The room we stayed in was quite small but suitable for one night.

This is a nice hotel well located in Baveno, and close by car to Stresa. The rooms are clean and so is the bathroom. The hotel would need a good refresh but otherwise the look is authentic. The swimming pool is quite small but it is still nice. Breakfast is average but service is very welcoming. The lake view from upper floor rooms is juste amazing. The outside parking is free.

We had a lovely room with comfortable beds and a well-equipped, modern bathroom. However, we were not informed in advance that parking in the underground garage needed to be reserved prior to arrival. Fortunately, there was still availability when we arrived, but the parking fee was quite high. I booked this accommodation for the rooftop bar which wasn’t opened at all. The manager said it was due to rain -but honestly I think he just didn’t want the hassle of opening it. We had a wonderful stay, the room was spacious and so was the Terras.

Great location and great place! We stayed here in June. Rented a 2 bedroom for 3 nights but we actually were upgraded to a 3; bedroom which was a pleasant surprise. We were on the second floor and had a partial lake view. Yes sitting outside on the balcony did have some car noise but it was fine! Bathrooms were huge and clean; toiletries provided. We visited in August for a week and stayed in the river mobile homes. Amazing experience. Beautiful location. Easy access to lake with private beach/pedal boats/kayaks. Surrounded by mountains. Hired bikes from reception and cycled to verbania. Friendly, helpful staff. Will go back

Unfortunately the site did not meet the expectations we had before arrived. Some of the reception staff are very abrupt in their manner almost like it's an inconvenience to talk to you at times. Some of the staff on the main restaurant are very inexperienced and often don't get your orders correct or your waiting for a long time. We used to come here several times as a couple before our daughter was born and came back after some years in 2022, just to find out this place is as great for families as it is for two. This is an awesome camp site directly on a Lago Maggiore beach near Verbania and next to the picturesque village Feriolo. Apartment no. 30 in Yellow House is actually a very nice and spacious apartment with access to the garden. I also think it's very positive that dogs are allowed here. However, the website advertises that ALL apartments have air conditioning. Apartment 30 is the only apartment that has NO air conditioning. Very uncomfortable in the summer heat. Super charming villa with loads of character 2 mins from centre. Guests have possibility of using hotel ammenities. Great bathroom. Really comfy beds.

We had an excellent stay at the Ortensia residence, very well located, impeccable cleanliness and welcome. How lucky to be able to sleep in such a period villa 😍.

Exceptional place to stay. We set our roots here for 5 days. Such a good decision. Beautiful apartment. Great staff at the hotel. Except that the location is not as good as another five-star hotel, (the location is about 1 km away, but at night, when the lights of the two small islands are dim, this point is exceeded), everything else exceeds expectations.

Right next to the pier, you can easily take a cruise around the lake. The hotel provides free parking spaces, but you can ask the front desk if you can't find them. The room is large and it is very comfortable to sunbathe on the balcony.

Service is better than what i would expect from a 3-star hotel. The food in the restaurant is also very good and reasonably priced for the area. However, the AC in the room was a big let down, it barely cooled the room and shut off after a certain time in the evening, this led to very hot nights as i didn't want to open the window due to the mosquitos. Lovely hotel. Brilliant location for exploring Stresa, the islands and getting the cable car. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Food was great and they did special meals for the children each evening. Pool was never too busy and the kids loved it. Would definitely recommend this for a family friendly holiday.

Fabulous hotel in a great location. The whole of our stay was wonderful, from the fantastic breakfast, lovely pool and garden, creative and tasty evening meal courses to the staff who were incredibly kind and attentive. Our stay could not have been more perfect!

We loved it, all the bar staff and waiter s were really professional and friendly. Bit of a walk into Stresa but lovely along the lake side and convenient for the boats. Only downside is the busy road is a bit noisy.

Amazing hotel in Stresa on shore of Lake Maggiore. Just cross the road and you are at the lakeside. The hotel is a 6 on a scale of 1 to 5. It is exceptional in many ways. There are few luxury hotels like it and with a great location.

I can't give full score since I had one of the small single rooms towards the back. My company was at the front with balcony and lake view and said they were in heaven. Everywhere is beautifully maintained and comfortable though. The reception is very welcoming and friendly. Wifi is good.

The journey from the airport to hotel was terrible, but the stay at the hotel was very good. At midnight, the hotel owner welcomed us and tells us the most important information. He invited us for a tasty breakfast and the service in the restaurant was nice. The room was very clean and you could relax. The hotel is located in a quiet location.

I have just returned from a Blake's tour to lake Maggiore.we stayed at this hotel . I could not fault it .The staff were brilliant the meals were great,and the rooms were good(the only reason I gave 4stars was we had no view. It is situated on the lake near the ferry and tourist boats

This hotel is located in a great location, beautiful views of the lake and the staff is outstanding! The trains went on strike the day of our departure and the staff worked for hours to find us alternative transportation. I highly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay there!

I stay in this Hotel every time I go to Stresa. Every 2 - 3yrs. Been going for well over 20yrs. Superb Hotel, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Food is superb (5star) staff/service 5 star. Can’t fault it. I’ll certainly be back soon

Fantastic place to use as a base to see lake Magguri, on the front handy for lake shuttle boats and busses, road can be busy, we were on the back overlooking the quaint old town which is great, loads of cafes, bars and resteraunts. Stresa and Lake Maggiore are not to be missed. The Moderno makes a good base. I suggest you ask about the rooms before selecting, as the hotel encompasses several buildings and the rooms vary. The Hotel is a good value for the price, but it is ageing and somewhat dated. We like firm mattresses and our room had the firmest mattress ever!

The attitude of the hotel owners was almost unbelievably good! They we trying hard to advice you where to go, what to see, what tours to buy etc. And their advices were not for profit, they never asked you to mention their names or something - they simply wanted you to enjoy their area.

Hotel is ok for the price. The owner is very friendly. No air conditioning and what we did not enjoy was that each time we went out, the owners came in the room (more than once a day). Otherwise very central to the nice places of Stresa.

We had a great week in a clean new hotel, after general renovation in corona period. We enjoyed an amazing view to the lake from the window, a central , but quiet place, and wonderful breakfasts on the roof of the building. Thanks to the owners of hotel for a homely and fun feeling.

I was one of the first to stay in the Sempione after its remodeling, and it is wonderful. Everything brand new, elegant and comfortable. The view from the terrace is unbelievable, and the managers and staff are delightful -- with a real eye for detail. Would definitely go back... soon!

We had a week at this beautiful hotel from 9th to 16th June. It was part of a 40th wedding anniversary. It's a great hotel!! However, if you do not drive it is quite a walk into Stressa. So a taxi is needed it costs roughly 15€. You do get the most amazing views. Breakfast is very simple but you have a wide variety of continental options. No hot breakfast options.

Beautifully perched on a promontory with view over Lake Major. It's best to have your breakfast under the morning sun on the terrace overlooking the lake. We had a really nice stay and highly recommend this hotel! The receptionists are super friendly. The hotel rooms are very clean and tidy, with perfect view on the lake. We also really liked the breakfast on the terrace. The breakfast had a great variety, every day different cakes (freshly made) were served. We can also recommend their offer to go for a 3 course dinner at one of the islands.

Very nice accomodation. 2 km from Stresa, however you cannot reach it by foot. There is a bus going to Stresa each hour and coming back, so is easy to reach the town. Just accros the street there is a beach were you can relax and play(for kids). Breakfast is delicios. We enjoyed our time here and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Thank you for all!
