We have stayed at this Hotel a few times & is very comfortable. Various rooms to choose from depending on your budget. A lot of up dates have taken place, adding a beach area. In the center of town where numerous restaurants are available but do a search to find the right ones.

At first, we had a smaller room, really a bit too small to walk in it, and a strange smell, from the AC but the management was quick to offer us an alternative room! The facilities are beautiful the price to not include breakfast and the parking that they have is per hour every time that you go in and out, it’s not that close to Baveno or Stresa unfortunately during our stay, it was raining a lot, but the facilities are beautiful. Decoration in their rooms are fantastic.

My intended booking was at splendid hotel in lugano but once I went there I realised that it was at baveno 😅 ,so I took a taxi for 350 euro to go there . Stayed in Hotel Beau Rivage on a recent family holiday. The experience was amazing from the outset. The staff were welcoming, friendly and extremely professional. There was an excellent selection of food for breakfast and evening meals. I look forward to staying in the hotel on any return trips and would highly recommend.

Honestly, it's more of a 3-star than a 4-star. Very basic, the price is excessive for the amenities offered; it feels more like a renovated apartment. However, they happily accept pets. Situated very close to the ferrys at Baveno. Our room had a partial lake view and a nice balcony. Housekeeping was excellent. We didn't eat at the restaurant, so cannot comment on that. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Room on the top floor has a magnificent view! There is also a terrace open to all guests up there if you want to buy something to eat and drink and enjoy the view. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, AC worked well and bathroom was modern. The hotel is in a great location close to the lake shore.

Just finished a three night stay at the Alpi, very clean and well maintained, had dinner on the first night and very good. Staff happy to explain anything you don’t understand. Easy walk down to beach and town. Would definitely return.

I've stayed in Baveno several times and this hotel is by far and away the best hotel that I have been fortunate enough to stay at here. Great location, very secure parking, very pleasant staff and breakfast is ok. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Cozy and somewhat simple hotel nicely situated in Baveno close to the church and the promenade. The pool area is quite small so you shouldn’t plan on taking a day by the pool. Fine breakfast however nothing fancy. You have the possibility to park outside in the private parking area or in the garage. The room we stayed in was quite small but suitable for one night.

This is a nice hotel well located in Baveno, and close by car to Stresa. The rooms are clean and so is the bathroom. The hotel would need a good refresh but otherwise the look is authentic. The swimming pool is quite small but it is still nice. Breakfast is average but service is very welcoming. The lake view from upper floor rooms is juste amazing. The outside parking is free.

In Japan, Lake Como is famous, both for Lake Maggiore, Baveno is the best. The La Ripa is based on this island and Pescatori the area, meals garden, can be eaten slowly and satisfaction. Hotel is old but clean and from the Full is healed. She went from 2 times.

Surely one of the best B & Bs where we have been, and we have begun to have seen several. The structure is practically new. The tastefully furnished rooms, the very comfortable bed (including the pillows) are equipped with kettle and coffee machine. They are on the ground floor, with a door to the inner courtyard, which is particularly convenient for those of us traveling with hairy people in tow....

We spent 3 nights at Locanda Nelia. Hostess Barbara is very nice and helpful. The room is very nice, clean and has a good working AC. Everything has been thought of! Also we got extra towels if we needed them and Barbara gave good tips in Baveno. Ristorante Posta sits below the Locanda and has fantastic food. My husband and I honeymooned here 49 years ago and stayed at what was then Hotel "Posta", now Locanda Nelia. Well located and well run. Very close to the lake and to restaurants. Basic but comfortable accommodation. WiFi. Sofia the host is very welcoming and helpful. You can get free parking down by the lake about 100 meters from the B&B (be sure to check you are on the free rather than paid bit - Sofia will be able to assist). The breakfast is good value.

The owners are wonderful people, extremely friendly and helpful. The room was the best equipped with amenities of any non-hotel location we stayed on our Europe vacation. Eating at the restaurant will also be a highlight with the many wonderful taste sensations with the delicious food and wines.
