My favorite place to stay in Petra, view is great to the mountain at night. Super clean and 300MBs+ WiFi. More comfortable and convenient than well known hotels like Marriott and Movenpick castle in Petra.

The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The service is very good. There is verity of dishes to eat, however the food is not fresh, and you have to buy water to drink on dinner.

I loved the room, the bed and pillows were amazing! And the bathroom also was very nice, but most of all, it verry good pressure in the ahower and all the hot wather that you want. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and we enjoyed it. It was a buffet and you paid the entrance fee (10 jod) and you could eat whatever you wanted and how much as you wanted. Location up on a hill, had a nice view at 3rd floor. 10 minutes to downtown, 30 minutes to visitors center. Clean rooms, cramped bathroom but all working good. Water could have been hotter. Breakfast limited, live cooking - specifically eggs. Coffee terrible.

The hotel was nice and clean! Breakfast was delicious and the staff was exceptionally kind. The manager tried to accommodate us to the best of their ability as both of our families wanted to stay close to each other. Overall, recommend the place.

My friends and I loved our stay at Edom! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very nice and helpful, the location is a short walk away from the Petra entrance. Interestingly, there is also a cave next to the dining room where you can have a drink sitting on comfortable sofas. It is quite special and the atmosphere is cozy. Overall, I highly recommend!

Basic small hotel with 12 rooms. Located in a quiet area. No street noises, rooms soundproof (at least we haven't noticed other guests). 10min walk only to the Petra Visitor Center. Shower was very weak and it took about 5 minutes until hot water was available which was boiling hot then in fact. Adjusting this to normal temperatures was a hard task - moving the regulator just a millimeter resulted...

The hotel is small and very clean. It is about 10 mins walking from Petra Visitor Center (uphill!) in a very quiet area. Breakfast was very good and with lot of food. All the 3 men at the reception were friendly and speaking good English

The hotel itself is not very fancy, however if you will only be there to sleep and shower then the price/benefit ratio is excellent. Also the staff is super friendly and are always doing their best to make sure you enjoy your stay.

We have had a wonderful stay here! The Shaqilath has a family feel and we've felt very at home here. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the owner and staff are friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious!

Rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful with their advise, especially the manager. The only thing I wasn't quite satisfied with was the cleanliness of the room as my sheets did not smell very clean and the breakfast was not the best (except the fresh made omelettes which were great)

Wonderful hotel! Beautiful decor, professional staff, great food. We stayed here on our visit to Petra. It was great to come back to such a wonderful place after a day of hiking. The location is incredible too, right outside of entrance to Petra. Every detail was thought of including water and fresh fruit in the room. We wish we could have stayed longer. We booked a junior suite in what you promote as a five star hotel. We travel a great deal so expected more than a medium sized room with a sofa, a bathroom with one sink and a shower that was mounted over the bath in which there was no plug. There were three of us and we did not have reservations for the restaurant so we went to the bar. We got there 10 to 8 and asked about Happy Hour. We were told it's almost over and we had to talk the waiters into serving us. We stayed for dinner there too and it was fine until we were leaving and the waiter look at our bill after we signed out to a credit card and asked, "No tip?" I found the question...

they had heat in the tents and tvs with Netflix! after days in the cold desert, this was the real luxury. but I wouldn’t consider this camping.

It is an amazing and adventurous place to visit and have a wonderful time all along.

Hotel is next to Petra entrance, the location is unbeatable. Staff was friendly. The Cave Bar is super cool, a bit expensive but that’s okay. It’s the oldest bar in the world apparently! Food is mainly buffet style, it’s not bad. For a local restaurant experience, go to Moms Recipe 5 min walk away.

A fun hotel! The location is right next to the entrance to Petra. The rooms are comfy and the restaurant has a nice spread for breakfast and dinner. The highlight of the hotel is the cave bar. The bar is super cool and a great place to enjoy a beer after trekking through the heat to see Petra. I highly recommend the Petra Beer.

The hotel location is very good with an astonishing mountains view . They have two restaurants one of them is a Bedouin tent with special Arabic food . We had fun having dinner there . The hotel has free parking and staff is very friendly. This is one of the trademark of Jordanian hospitality.

Wonderful hotel! The service was the best in the world, and we’ve traveled all over. Sunset dinner in the tent doesn’t compare to the genuine hospitality that we experienced. Best 3 star hotel in petra

Next to main entrance to Petra, beautifull view. Top service, we went to petra at 6:00 they made a breakfast box that we picked up at 5:30 and every questions gets answered. Working airconditioning and fast wifi. View in the restaurant also beautifull( didnt eat there, only breakfast). Big parking in front. Yes it is a bit old butt it will fullfill your needs (okay maybe a pool would be nice:p)
