Wonderful hotel! Beautiful decor, professional staff, great food. We stayed here on our visit to Petra. It was great to come back to such a wonderful place after a day of hiking. The location is incredible too, right outside of entrance to Petra. Every detail was thought of including water and fresh fruit in the room. We wish we could have stayed longer. We had a buffet dinner and it was fantastic
We booked a junior suite in what you promote as a five star hotel. We travel a great deal so expected more than a medium sized room with a sofa, a bathroom with one sink and a shower that was mounted over the bath in which there was no plug. That is not a suite, nor is it five star by any imagination. The hotel is also the chosen accommodation for large groups so that at popular times the restaurant...
There were three of us and we did not have reservations for the restaurant so we went to the bar. We got there 10 to 8 and asked about Happy Hour. We were told it's almost over and we had to talk the waiters into serving us. We stayed for dinner there too and it was fine until we were leaving and the waiter look at our bill after we signed out to a credit card and asked, "No tip?" I found the question...

Very nice hotel and the owner ,the staff and all the people where very helpful and very welcoming. It's the place to to stay in if you visit Petra. Myself and my wife are highly recommend it.
Great value for money. The location is perfect if you plan on taking the hike of Petra afterwards because when you’re exhausted it’s good to have the hotel next to the entrance! The rooms were average with WiFi barely working in them (6th floor) but they do have a nice rooftop were it worked well! Unfortunately no one was working there so I can’t comment on the quality of beverages there. Breakfast...
Nice little hotel. Stayed here on the G Adventures tour. Friendly staff, clean and functional room. Hotel restaurant was great - I didn't expect much but it was wonderful with large platters, salads, chocolate cakes. Rooftop view. Highly recommend. Thank you
Well presented, clean hotel. Good choice of buffet style breakfast. Perfect location for Petra visitor centre.
At the beginning of May, this year, my wife and I had the pleasure to visit the beautiful Petra, and stayed at the Edom Hotel, Petra for a few days. We were very impressed and satisfied with the conditions offered by this hotel, with the accommodation, the service and the extremely correct attitude and politeness of the hotel staff towards us. As the main merits for the choice of the hotel and for...
Excellent place to stay for your visit to Petra. Manager Mohamed did his best to serve as and we had our best dinner in our stay there. We were stunned by their hospitally. Highly recommended

My favorite place to stay in Petra, view is great to the mountain at night. Super clean and 300MBs+ WiFi. More comfortable and convenient than well known hotels like Marriott and Movenpick castle in Petra.
The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The service is very good. There is verity of dishes to eat, however the food is not fresh, and you have to buy water to drink on dinner.
I loved the room, the bed and pillows were amazing! And the bathroom also was very nice, but most of all, it verry good pressure in the ahower and all the hot wather that you want. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and we enjoyed it. It was a buffet and you paid the entrance fee (10 jod) and you could eat whatever you wanted and how much as you wanted. I will come bach here! Also thank you...
Hotel is very comfortable, clean, staff very kind and frendly, everything is possible to fullfil every wish to guests, excellent buffet diner and breakfast, really nice wiew to Wadi Musa, rooms with box spring beds for total relax after long day in Petra
Location up on a hill, had a nice view at 3rd floor. 10 minutes to downtown, 30 minutes to visitors center. Clean rooms, cramped bathroom but all working good. Water could have been hotter. Breakfast limited, live cooking - specifically eggs. Coffee terrible.
The hotel was nice and clean! Breakfast was delicious and the staff was exceptionally kind. The manager tried to accommodate us to the best of their ability as both of our families wanted to stay close to each other. Overall, recommend the place.

The hotel location is very good with an astonishing mountains view . They have two restaurants one of them is a Bedouin tent with special Arabic food . We had fun having dinner there . The hotel has free parking and staff is very friendly. This is one of the trademark of Jordanian hospitality.
By far the best place to stay near Petra. Basic place that has A+++ service. Ahmad F at checking was super nice and got us to the perfect room quickly after long travel. The security staff was understanding of me forgetting to scan my bag and helped cary it. Food at Bedouin tent was amazing. Best food in my life and way way too much. Manager Khammes overseas an A++ operation. Server was great....
My wife and I checked in after 8:30pm and it was pretty easy with no wait. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Our room had breathtaking views and was well cleaned. We had dinner in the Bedouin tent and that was different to say the least but worth it if you like to try new things. Breakfast was a large buffet with cooked-to-order eggs as well. We stayed just the one night and checked...
Incredible location and views. Really lovely staff who make you feel right at home. The pool is great and the restaurants are all unique. The rooms are well furnished and very well kept. Only down side is i was slightly disappointed by the quality of burger i had for lunch, but maybe that’s my fault for ordering a burger here!!
My stay at the Petra Marriott Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel boasts an excellent location with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. The service was top-notch - professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. Staff members went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. One of the highlights was the hotel's swimming pool, which is 3 meters deep - a rarity...
Wonderful hotel! The service was the best in the world, and we’ve traveled all over. Sunset dinner in the tent doesn’t compare to the genuine hospitality that we experienced. Especially memorable was the warm reception and friendliness of the Manager, Moayed! He was so sweet and endearing! Highly recommend this hotel!

It's not very fancy but it's walking distance from the entrance of Petra. We have a small baby so the lack of a kettle for water in the room wasn't ideal and also lack of parking was a bit of an issue. But if you don't have kids then parking and kettles won't be an issue to you. They serve a good breakfast as you will need one for Petra.
Slightly run-down but rooms were adequately furnished. You need to ask for an iron and additional toiletries. Staff members can be rude.
Older hotel. One in our group had ants. Two pools. Good for quick overnight. Buffet style meals. Don't drink unbottled water.

I went a year ago in January with my boyfriend. A friend (hotel concierge himself) recommended it to us. The people working here are very lovely, they are always very concerned for your safety and well-being. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great! Do recommend talking to all the lovely people working here. They gave us some great recommendations for food and all other sorts of travel...
Petra Boutique Hotel was an incredible stay. All staff tried hard to accommodate for us including our dietary requests. The facilities in the hotel room were modern: everything was based on sensors in including bedroom lights. This provided a futuristic feeling. The hotel is great but what makes it 5-star worthy is the people. Absolutely amazing, guessing our needs before we have them, giving us ample details about Petra, what is good and what is not. In the morning we left to see Petra before the restaurant opened for breakfast and returned after the closing hours. The service is great. The staffs are very warm and welcoming :) The location is amazing because we are right at the entrance of Petra, so there is nothing to be complained about. There are a few good local food joints nearby. There is also Cave Bar in the hotel that sells alcohol.
Best hotel accommodation when visiting Petra. The hotel is literally a few steps away from the site entrance. The rooms are huge and very clean. The staff is very polite and ready to assist at all times, for example we forgot to bring toothpaste, or book you a taxi or assist you in booking any activities in the area. They do a BBQ buffet a few times a week for dinner which is very tasty and you can...
We loved our stay at the Petra guest house! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. It is in a great location and super close to the visitor center. The only thing that was kind of a bummer is there was only one outlet that worked without the lights on, so make sure you don’t count on charging your phone at night if you have more than one person. We also ate at the cave bar and the food was super...
Really taken aback that this room has no USB outlets. Thank goodness for portable batteries. The balcony door lock is broken as well. Very important as I’m a woman traveling alone. I think you’re paying for location and convenience which I will pay for in a minute. I can’t be inconvenienced while on vacation. $145.00 per night for a king bed. The staff, AMAZING! Very kind and service oriented. The...
Hotel is next to Petra entrance, the location is unbeatable. Staff was friendly. The Cave Bar is super cool, a bit expensive but that’s okay. It’s the oldest bar in the world apparently! Food is mainly buffet style, it’s not bad. For a local restaurant experience, go to Moms Recipe 5 min walk away.
A fun hotel! The location is right next to the entrance to Petra. The rooms are comfy and the restaurant has a nice spread for breakfast and dinner. The highlight of the hotel is the cave bar. The bar is super cool and a great place to enjoy a beer after trekking through the heat to see Petra. I highly recommend the Petra Beer.

Next to main entrance to Petra, beautifull view. Top service, we went to petra at 6:00 they made a breakfast box that we picked up at 5:30 and every questions gets answered. Working airconditioning and fast wifi. View in the restaurant also beautifull( didnt eat there, only breakfast). Big parking in front. Yes it is a bit old butt it will fullfill your needs (okay maybe a pool would be nice:p)
Really not much connection to the movie Oscar, but it was an interesting experience. The lobby is furnished with ultra ornate furniture. Service was good, as were the dinner and breakfast buffets.

Our family was looking for an affordable place to rest overnight on our two-day visit to Petra. We were pleasantly surprised by the jovial staff, modern furnishings, and brand new linens. In-room 🫖 tea and ☕️ coffee was a treat, as was the welcoming nature of the staff. They have impeccable English and a great sense of humor. We decided to play a family board game in the evening and the staff moved...
Very welcoming and kind staff. We had a short stay, just for a night before visiting Petra, but we had some valuable rest there. The room was comfy and at a reasonable price. The breakfast was OK. It included a large variety of local delights. We had free tea and coffee to make in the room too.
Good hotel, good value for money, no bad surprise. New, clean, quiet, comfortable bed, pillows, linen, working/quiet air-condition, good breakfast, helpful staff. Restaurants and shops nearby, walking distance to Petra.
Very nice and clean brand new hotel in the heart of the tourist area of Petra- with restaurants and shops all very nearby. The 15-20 min. walk to Petra visitor center is worth noting though. Host who was the manager and his staff were all extremely kind and very very helpful- breakfast was very good too! Will definitely stay there again when I come to Petra next!

Good looking hotel at the top of the hill. From there it's a short walk to Petra. Supermarkets nearby and the rooms are airconditioned. At one point our air conditioning failed and we were given a new and better room. Very good stay.
Clean rooms which have been recently refurbished (ask for an ironing board and iron when checking in if required). Soft linen, new fridge/freezer, big smart TV and complimentary tea and coffee. No hangers in the wardrobe was the only thing missing. Staff are friendly and let us check in early. Free off-road car park opposite the hotel. Small shop outside the entrance selling drinks and snacks. Overall...
Hotel very close to the entrance to Petra. In a quieter street within walking distance to the visitor center. Possibility of buffet breakfast and dinner. The rooms are clean and newly furnished. We had to move the first night due to the flooding of the bathroom from the room above us. But the staff solved everything perfectly and promptly.
Arrived here around 1AM in the morning, decided it was best to get a taxi from the airport which cost around 70JOD, the hotel is really basic, however it saved waking up early the following morning. The breakfast is quite limited compared to bigger hotels but I guess for a smaller hotel such as this it's alright, food is very middle eastern, which I guess is obvious and fine for the location it is...
This is a good hotel in a nice location. It is only a few minutes walk from the Petra Visitors Center. It is also really close to a lot of nice restaurants and shops. We had a very comfy stay.
