Located right across Petra entrance! Beautiful hotel, delicious dinner & breakfast! Big variety, great taste, fresh & served at excellent temperatures “wow!” We rarely give 5 stars for hotel foods but this one is well deserved. Room was the cleanest we stayed in Petra & Egypt of equal hotel level. Even though the food looks the same as the movenpick at Dead Sea,this one in Petra somehow tasted 5 times...
This hotel has one thing going for it, and that’s the impeccable location, because it’s literally a hop, skip and jump away from the Petra site entry. The staff was great, the food was good and the interiors of the hotel itself seemed good. However, nothing justifies the price of the hotel. Incredibly overpriced. The room was average, small, and the view was an under construction building. I would...
A great hotel. Amazing location to the entrance to Petra.
Breakfast was very good. Opened early enough so you can have food before sunrise. Pool was cold but we visited in there winters rooms very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.
Perfect location right opposite the entrance to the Petra Gate. The breakfast and dinner options were fantastic.
Just across the road from Petras entrance. Excellent service on check in including valet and great advice from the reception staff regarding Petra, they will also book the Petra by night tickets for you.
The dinner team led by Ibrahim was brilliant and the service and food was impeccable. Much better than the local restaurants. Breakfast was also brilliant with numerous live cooking stations and lots...
Great service, staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is beautiful itself, located right next to Petra Museum which is very convenient if you plan to visit The treasury. Buffet dinner is great, we enjoyed our stay.

My stay in Marriot Petra is beyond my expectations.
The location is great, you could see nice views of Petra from the swimming pool in the hotel. Plus the hotel is super quiet and peaceful ❤️
The staff are super kind, friendly and attentive.
Special thanks to Mr. Mohammed , the assistant manager in the front office , he is a very kind and friendly person, delivering a great service and kind attitude...
The room is not big, but the location is excellent, and you can see the beautiful sunset.
However, when we had breakfast on the first day, the waiter in the breakfast room inexplicably handed me something like a bill to sign after we finished eating. Because we ordered breakfast and dinner, and I saw that no one else had it, I went to the front desk to ask what it was. The male staff at the front desk...
The hotel is really old and is 2 km away from the ancient city of Petra. There are not many breakfast options, and it is not recommended to participate in the Petra Night event in the hotel because it is much cheaper to buy tickets directly at the attraction.
Beautiful hotel situated at the top of Petra overlooking a nice desert valley. A La Carte breakfast had a good range of foods. Would stay again!
My good impression of this hotel comes entirely from the cute uncle who helped me carry my luggage. He opened the window for me to watch the sunset, and knocked on the door every few minutes to give me a gift. I was really surprised and will always remember him! The service is very good, the grilled fish in the restaurant downstairs is delicious, and the waiter will say happy new year to Chinese tourists
Beautiful sunset and sunrise at the property. Staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms are clean and room service was prompt.

We arrived in Petra with suitcases via the JETT bus, so minimizing the distance we had to walk with luggage was a key consideration — and this hotel was a great fit.
Pros:
• Excellent location — about a 2-minute walk from the JETT bus drop-off point and the Petra Visitor Center; nearby there are restaurants, souvenir shops, and small grocery stores.
• Communicating with staff in English was fine,...
The hotel has a fantastic location, right across from the Petra Scenic Area, just a 5-minute walk away. After a day of sightseeing, returning via the same route, the hotel is right outside the scenic area – what a dream! My room was on the 5th floor; it was newly renovated and still has a paint smell, which will need some time to dissipate. Breakfast is served next to the lobby on the ground floor...
Hotel very well located (right opposite the main entrance)
Parking available
Well-equipped room
Very friendly and helpful reception staff (they gave us an extra hour for check-out)
Excellent and varied breakfast
The hotel's location is absolutely first-class, only 2 minutes walk to the entrance of Petra. The facilities are a bit old, but the view from the terrace on the 5th floor is good, you can watch the sunrise over the ancient city. Since there are not many tourists, there are really few people.
It is conveniently located near the Petra Visitor Center and within walking distance of nearby restaurants.
The service is average, but the location is convenient.

My stay at Hayat Zaman Hotel & Resort was truly amazing. The hotel has a unique charm with a relaxing and beautiful atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. Both the rooms and all public areas were spotless, well-organized, and very well maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A huge special thanks to Chef Ashraf...
This is one of the best hotels I have ever visited worldwide. It's located not far away from Petra and it's very specius. It is designed like a small traditional village several separate rooms, each one representing a house. The whole architecture , the hotel and the surroundings, are made by local material stone cypress tree, offering the experience of living in a traditional house. The apartments...
Excellent hotel with a heritage vibe! The Hammam Spa was very reasonably priced. The food spread was very good. Enjoyed the stay and the stunning views of th Petra mountains
A wonderful experience at Hayat Zaman Resort. The atmosphere is peaceful and beautifully designed, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent throughout our visit. The food was delicious and well presented. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and authentic getaway. We will definitely visit again!
“Our stay was exceptional, and the hotel offered a truly distinctive experience. I was impressed by its concept; it felt like an authentic old village, bringing back the charm of earlier times. The service was excellent, the atmosphere remarkably peaceful, and the food was exceptionally delicious
This is my 4th stay in Jordan. During my travels I only stay in well researched places and Hayad Zaman was highly recommended by my friends who stayed here twice already. I am so glad I decided to come here. It wasn't a usual boring hotel but more of a unique experience. Service was superb and the view to die for. Away from hustle and bustle in a super quiet area that had an amazing energy. We were...

Exceptional in every way. Nice to be up high for view. We had a car so location great. Free parking in underground garage. Clean, modern, outstanding quality, superb breakfast and great staff. Highly recommend. We would definitely return.
Even if the hotel was empty, we had a very warm welcome from wonderful people who made us feel comfortable right from the first minute. They opened the kitchen just for us for a late lunch. I got a beautiful room on the top floor with an amazing view of the city. The sunset is absolutely wonderful from the top-floor restaurant bar, where you can have a drink and a shisha, enjoying a very relaxing time...
Very warm welcomed by the staff of the Petra Elite Hotel at Petra. From the moment you arrive you really feel treated as a guest by Mohammed &. Waden at the reception desk, while Ali takes care of all your material needs. Just arrived in the spacious room, Bilal brings a savoury welcome surprise. Great place to stay!
100% recommend. The staff is extremely atrentive, friendly and attentive. Clean room, delicious breakfast in the morning and the spa is very nice. There are also beautiful views from the window. The staff thougj definitely made our stay as nice as it was. They helped us to organize rides, brought fresh drinks when we walked in and provided helpful information
Very lovely rooms which are spacious, comfortable and clean. If you get on the right side the views are absolutely spectacular!!! Dinning was odd as our first dinner and breakfast there was served at the table (dinner was poor) but then the 2nd dinner and breakfast were buffet which was FAR better and very delicious. The hotel was clean and closer to Petra gate. Great location to stay.
1. Best location for Petra tour & cheap price for location
The price of food and accommodation in/around Petra is much more expensive than other places in Jordan. So I considered accommodations located very high up for cheap accommodation, but I was really glad that I ended up choosing Edom Hotel. Even though I walk a lot all day, I get quite tired after visiting Petra. However, I have to walk uphill...
Very good hotel, it is less than 5 minutes walk from the place where the intercity buses arrive and depart, and 2 minutes from the entrance to Petra, 100% worth it.
Good hotel, no complaints really except the breakfast was a bit expensive. Modern rooms and very nice employees.
The location is perfect to enjoy Petra.
The hotel is a bit old, but still good enough.
Not only the room was clean and neat, but also the staffs are super kind and friendly.
I will definetly stay at this hotel, if I come to Petra again.
Best location. Just a 3 mins walk to the Petra entrance. Everything is good here. Breakfast is adequate. Comfy bed. Love their glass lift

Good looking hotel at the top of the hill. From there it's a short walk to Petra. Supermarkets nearby and the rooms are airconditioned.
At one point our air conditioning failed and we were given a new and better room. Very good stay.
Clean rooms which have been recently refurbished (ask for an ironing board and iron when checking in if required). Soft linen, new fridge/freezer, big smart TV and complimentary tea and coffee. No hangers in the wardrobe was the only thing missing. Staff are friendly and let us check in early. Free off-road car park opposite the hotel. Small shop outside the entrance selling drinks and snacks. Overall...
Hotel very close to the entrance to Petra. In a quieter street within walking distance to the visitor center. Possibility of buffet breakfast and dinner. The rooms are clean and newly furnished. We had to move the first night due to the flooding of the bathroom from the room above us. But the staff solved everything perfectly and promptly.
Arrived here around 1AM in the morning, decided it was best to get a taxi from the airport which cost around 70JOD, the hotel is really basic, however it saved waking up early the following morning.
The breakfast is quite limited compared to bigger hotels but I guess for a smaller hotel such as this it's alright, food is very middle eastern, which I guess is obvious and fine for the location it is...
This is a good hotel in a nice location. It is only a few minutes walk from the Petra Visitors Center. It is also really close to a lot of nice restaurants and shops. We had a very comfy stay. This was undoubtedly the best hotel of our entire trip (15 days in Jordan and Israel). The hotel has a new and elegant look, with attention to detail as well; our room was impeccable, as was the bathroom. One of the most beautiful hotels in Petra where we stayed for four days. It was a wonderful stay. The hotel is located on the side of the road. The breakfast is nice and the dinner everything was like a spacious and clean room. Everything was perfect. We will return, God willing. The staff were attentive. Enjoyed. With everything, thank you from
We stayed in this hotel for three consecutive days. It was a very beautiful stay. A crystal clear view of the Petra mountains. The food was varied. Everything was perfect, especially dinner. The rooms were spacious and clean. Everything was fine. I thank everyone and we will return, God willing, to stay in this hotel next time. Thank you, thank you
My favorite place to stay in Petra, view is great to the mountain at night. Super clean and 300MBs+ WiFi. More comfortable and convenient than well known hotels like Marriott and Movenpick castle in Petra.
A pleasant stay in Petra, nice room with great view, good food and helpful staff, especially shadi from the front desk, very kind and hospitality.

Great hotel with a roof top restaurant that has the best view of the area. Kind and helpful staff. Refreshing pool.
Excellent rooms, friendly staff, clean, tasty breakfast, great value. Felt like I was living in a much higher priced hotel.
They were incredibly hospitable and kind! They even welcomed us in with dinner with the whole family as a gift and made us feel so at home and welcome! Couldn’t recommend more!😍
The room faces west, and you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. When night falls, the twinkling lights on the mountain are clearly visible. It's nice 👍
The hotel has a stunning view of the city and mountains. I highly recommend staying here.
No wifi in the room
Shower room is not designed for adults. I was touching the side walls and shower head while taking shower.

Wadi Mousa, Petra - Jordan Wadi Mousa - Petra 🧭 Map
Beautiful location at the top of a very big hill with a lovely outdoor patio to enjoy the lights at night. Very close to Petra. The rooms are a little worn and shabby but very clean. Wonderful friendly staff and a reasonable price.
Room basic - mattress and pillows ok. Great choice of food at buffet for breakfast and dinner, but cash only for extras including drink (great that they had a bar!). lifts were hit and miss - one of the two broke twice while we were there. A little way from the centre so not ideal for exploring at the end of a long day.
Next to main entrance to Petra, beautifull view. Top service, we went to petra at 6:00 they made a breakfast box that we picked up at 5:30 and every questions gets answered. Working airconditioning and fast wifi. View in the restaurant also beautifull( didnt eat there, only breakfast). Big parking in front. Yes it is a bit old butt it will fullfill your needs (okay maybe a pool would be nice:p)
Really not much connection to the movie Oscar, but it was an interesting experience. The lobby is furnished with ultra ornate furniture. Service was good, as were the dinner and breakfast buffets.

The hotel is super luxurious, so comfortable, and very comfortable.the rooms are wide and super clean, the food is super delicious, especially Chef Ahmed Hassan, he was excellent and he asks people what do they like to satisfy them completely.very friendly and welcoming staff.thank you .
Good hotel. I was only there for 6 hours. It's really close to Petra. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The receptionist, Mohammad, helped me tie my head wrap. Decent breakfast with egg bar . Would stay again.
The hotel is located about a 10 minute taxi ride from the Petra visitor center. It is a quiet location which faces over a canyon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean. The food was tasty and there was a wide selection. The only suggestion I would have for the hotel is try to make sure that the food items that are in the metal containers are warmer/hot.
It's perfect. It's the best hotel I've stayed in in Jordan. The waiters are very nice. Even though I arrived late for breakfast, I was still very willing to serve.
