Reviews
The rooms are tiny. The 2 twin beds pushed together leave VERY little room for getting around or even placing travel luggage.
No AC. Windows do open, but in the dry season or construction near by the dust is significant, especially if you are in the lower levels.
The reception offers luggage storage, and the staff was pleasant and easy to deal with.
Grocery stores, pharmacy, and some restaurants are near by, the Old Town is within 15 min walking distance.
Currently (June 2024), the street next to the hotel is being renovated, heavy equipment has been making noise since 7 a.m.
However , staff can be more helpful.
We wanted to borrow a fork to eat take away food, and they refused saying that “there is no such service at the hotel”
It is such a minor request and yet they didn’t want to help their clients
No customer centric approach.
Hotel you’d think 🤔 that the staff should be welcoming. (BUT) Whilst staying here at the panorama Hotel the staff during breakfast make me and my wife
(VERY VERY) Uncomfortable to say the Least laughing mocking so this is why I have no choice but to give them 1 star ⭐️
And if I could they are lucky to get 1star
It is a big shame because we only came for a 4 night break because we of all the hard work we have done back home so we decided to treat ourselves thanks Panorama for Mac king us fill so so unwelcome we will not be coming back here again.
Well, I booked just a basic single room because I had a next day flight connection. Probably more expensive rooms have different services, but I believe the hotel should have the same standards for all rooms despite the price. This is about respect to the guests... At least clean toilet! Oh, I am really sorry, but it was disgusting! If I would stay longer, I would probably buy any type of 'bleach' and clean it myself! What about infection control??
Bathroom design is unusual, but I presume because of the bathroom size.
Furniture in the room is VERY 'tired'. Again, I didn't mind for one night, but I am just guessing how many years the chair, for example, has been used 🤔 It should 'retire' long time ago.
Nothing in the room! No kettle, no tea/coffe, no water. Guys, you are position yourself like European 3* hotel! European 3* hotels usually provide it. This is basic 'package'.
Also, think twice if you are travelling with kids. Windows are unsafe! I don't think hotel windows should open all the way, especially on the upper floors. Ok, you will find warning about it on the windows, but... I don't think this is the correct way. It looks like 'we told you and then this is your problem.' No, hotel providing the service and must be responsible for guests safety. I presume there are some European health and safety standards that should be in place?
Breakfast is very basic, but look from this side, you will not be hungry.
What about good things. Staff is very nice and helpful. Bed is comfortable. View from the window... nothing wow! really, but nice.
The location is perfect for travelling, 4 minutes walk from the bus and train stations, and 11 minutes to airport (by taxi).
The location is amazing with a very spectacular view from the back of the hotel that half of all rooms enjoy, with the other half of all rooms looking over a pleasant green city park to the spectaculars railway station.
On suite rooms are clean and well thought out, the bed is so comfortable with fresh laundered linen.
Breakfast if selected is well suited to all tastes without limits and served in a really nice dining area. Since my last visit the bar has closed although a selection of drinks are available from a reception area vending machine.
For safety while visiting the area, there is a cash point machine in the reception area.
There aren't any tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms even though management have been thoughtful in providing a hair drier in the shower room.
This level of unprofessionalism is something I have not encountered in my travels across Europe. As a paying guest, I expected a basic level of respect and courtesy.
I believe it’s important to provide feedback when service falls short. My experience here was far from satisfactory, and I hope this review serves as a reminder for the hotel to improve its customer service standards
