All reviews promote how silent it is in this hotel that is a converted monastery. Yet nobody mentions that hotel does not care about it guests and concentrates on profits that they receive from hosting parties.
At 11 pm one of such parties was going strong on the night we stayed. With an old building and an inner yard, you can imagine that every whisper from the yard echoes to guests bedrooms. With a party going on it made no difference if you try to sleep in your room or just in the middle of the party downstairs. On a hot summer night you can hear it with all windows closed (and zero fresh air getting to your room).
The reception reaction to the noise complaint was "Oh, we will ask them to be less loud". Seriously? Even if they did, this did not help. Party went on past midnight and then at 6 am they started pack and collect glass (bottles?) in the inner yard. So we got 5 hrs of sleep at most.
Hotel states that their silence hours are 9 pm - 8 am, but they do not follow them.
Should we be warned about party in the yard, we woul not choose the hotel.

Decent clean and basic rooms, and a central but quiet location just inside the walls of the old town, and walkable from the train station. Very helpful and friendly reception.

One of the most original hotels I've ever been! Renovated monastery, full of Vilnius atmosphere

Highly recommend this place. It was an awesome experience. Right next to church but far enough away not to get all the noise. The breakfast was good and free. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is good and close to restaurants and sites.

I was in a single room with private bath and it was nice. I didn't pay extra for breakfast, but the facilities were very nice. It was also in a good location.

Just stayed here. The location was really nice and the staff was always so helpful and very polite. I stayed during weekdays, so maybe it affected the breakfast options, but it was good. I would just wish that there were some labels so that I knew what I ate. Every morning I would be greeted with a smile, which was really nice.
The room however could have been just a bit cleaner. I felt like it was a bit dusty, but nothing too bad. The blanket on the bed had some minor stains, not sure if it washable or not. Also, no mini fridge nor a safe to put away your valuables, which felt a bit unsafe for me, a woman who traveled alone. When trying to find the entrance to the hotel the first night, I was a bit worried because I couldn’t find information about it, but the entrance is in the back side/parking lot.
I am still quite satisfied with my stay. Again, the location is really good and close to everything. Whenever I had questions, the reception would be more than happy to help me out. Thank you so much, Domus Maria!

Absolutely love this place. The rooms are clean, spacious, well maintained and well equipped. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The location is superb. You're living in a former centuries-old monastery, which itself is a unique experience.

The staff are nice. no fridge, no in-room safe, no a/c and no fan which means restless nights because it's too warm even with the window open. Besides the church bells kicking off at 7am, it is quiet, which is fine as it's a lovely city to start an early day walk.

What a unique place with a long history. You feel it when inside. Not expensive. They offer paid parking just in front of the entrance, it was very convenient. I recommend this place for your stay in Vilnius.

Perfect location and very helpful staff. The room was a lot smaller and darker than any of the photos, which was mostly fine as we were booked for one night only. Very clean and tidy. The only thing that was a noteworthy problem was the noise - we could hear everything from the room next door - every cough, sneeze, word, and step...
