Reviews
Pros: The room was spacious enough for us both with 30 inch luggages each which we had no problems leaving them open in the room for our whole trip and had space to walk around still. They also had heated flooring in the toilet. Beds and towels were clean and we did not observe any stain. Kettle was also provided in the room but there was no free coffee and tea. There is a coffee vending machine downstairs next to the lift if you want a nice beverage. Tv had a good mix of channels, not only local Lithuanian so you can stay in for the whole day to enjoy that. Breakfast wise it was basic but you can try so local Lithuanian herring and fish jelly. Location is good and it’s situated just next to Hales Targus which has a lot of food also
Cons: With the price I expected better amenities like a toothbrush, basic shower gel and shampoo. We were given a bar of soap and packaged shampoo, which seemed a bit budgety. Although clean, one towel had frayed a bit. Overall I still enjoyed my stay, it’s in a good location with a supermarket and local market with food within 5-10 mins walk. Also, a few sightseeing spots are within 5-10 mins walk too.
Breakfast: The variety was moderate and satisfying. The dining area was spacious and there was a coffee machine.
Facilities: A water server (hot and cold water) on the first floor. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, so you can rest assured.
Surroundings: The location is excellent, with the supermarket MAXIMA X, the Halle Market, and the Gate of Dawn at the entrance to the old town within a 3-minute walk.
Recommendation: Strolling through the old town (Gate of Dawn to Town Hall Square) in the early morning means there are fewer people and it makes for great photos (especially in the bright summer hours).
Other: If you are departing early in the morning, they will prepare a breakfast pack (simple sandwich and coffee) for you in advance.
Access: It is about a 10-minute Bolt ride from the hotel to the airport.
The rooms are in need of renovation, but they are fine for a one-night stay. The bed had a very firm mattress, which might not be comfortable for everyone. Breakfast was very basic, and the staff’s attitude left much to be desired. For example, when the pancakes ran out for the kids, the staff didn’t bother to bring out more. It was clear that the employee wasn’t particularly happy to be working.
Overall, it’s an okay place for a one-night stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in service and amenities.
