Marco Polo Party Hostel
St Julians, Ross Street 🧭 Map
Very good place for a weekend trip, or maybe the residence for the first month of stay in Malta! I highly recommend it, especially to people who like to meet new people from different parts of the world, and form new social relationships
The best free parties in Malta! (Not everyday, but during the week is possible to found ones!). The atmosphere and its staff are awesome :) I highly recommend this place!
Marco Polo Hostel is a little paradise just at the entrance to the party district. The large rooftop area is what makes this hostel unique. It is the perfect place to unwind, socialize and exchange traveling experiences with other guests while getting refreshments at the bar. During the night, especially during weekends, the rooftop may turn into an outdoor dance floor. The hostel is clean and very...
Even if I have some unexpected unpleasant situation, I can say for sure this place is very, very well organized and if u plan to come with your friends - it's so cool. I would add more light down the hall so the beautiful wall painting is more adjustable for selfies 😉
Good and very friendly staff. Rooms are nice, every bed has a locker. Terass and a bar on the rooftop is awesome. Would come again!
Very nice staff. They organise party at the hostel and then everyone go to Paceville. Very nice atmosphere and rooms and bathroom ok

The staff is friendly but not much supportive. The hostel is based near to supermarkets, night clubs, bus stops and a shopping mall (which is located the ACE English Malta, the English School for Brazilian Egali students). You may expect loads of Brazilians, so you may hear Portuguese all the time there. Don’t forget to bring you own blanket, the one they lend you is very tiny and light, and if you...
I stayed there for 2 weeks, I wanted to stay more, but in the summertime, since it was a really popular place, all the beds were occupied. And I have to say that this is the best hostel in Malta (I stayed in 3 another). + Air condition which you use wherever you want + Tasty Breakfast include: toasts with peanut butter, jams, Nutella/ cereal (at least two kinds)/ milk + spacious bed with curtain ...
This place proved a saviour to me. By mistake, I booked the hostel on the wrong date. When I reached hostel, the manager informed me that I booked the hostel for the last month and they had no vacent beds either. I panicked as I had no place to go. However, manager somehow arranged a bed for me for a night at a affordable price. Thanks Egali hostel for hosting me. I would like to stay there again.
My first experience in am Hostel and i can't be more happy. Egali hostel is a place where you feel welcomed, surrounded by amazing people that work hard to mae everything perfect and let you feel like at home. I strongly recommend this place, good energies, good souls there.

Great hostel, great service, nice rooms. One of my best hostel experiences.
Nice garden, clean pool, spacious kitchen and good vibe. Breakfast for free! Many restaurants and bars in the area.
It's not a hostel! It's a magnet for bright people! Special atmosphere of being at home. Very clean, light and cosy! The best hostel ever! I'll come back! For sure😉

Best Hostel in Malta.. Friendly stuff, clean rooms and bathrooms and most of all you get the chance to relax and steam off your mind.. I would personally recommended to everyone who wants to stay in Malta...
A Hippie Hostel. Not clean and quiet but very uncomplicated. The staff is awesome, more than friendly and it was a lot of fun becoming a "Jones"
I decided to stay for a month in Hostel Jones, because i had to relocate in Malta. I have seen the birth and development of the house, from the very first month. The actual idea and location is imperfect as the Maltese life is on itself. The life in Malta is in my opinion one of the best, if not the best life, anyone can be lucky to live. Hostel Jones is the epitome of exactly that, (Malta). It is...

Very good staff, very clean rooms. Just amazing
Pluses: Good location, nice terrace at the roof, a lot of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood, good price. Minuses: Very noisy, especially on weekends, very tiny rooms. Cleaning service should be improved... Bathroom was clean but kitchen rather dirty.
The facilities are there but if you are a light sleeper then this place is not for you..location is great so if you are a party person it fits..
So it is possible to spend here one night...but not more! Too noisy. And it seems very dirty. But the staff is quite kind)

I stayed in the private rooms which are next door from the hostel. The room was great, spacious with everything you really need. The shower had good water pressure. There's also a shared fridge in the common area. Location is good, just keep in mind it's a bit of a walk up the hill. So when you're on the rooftop there's a great view. I didn't have a chance to use the jacuzzi.
Very cool spot. We stayed in a private room & were kinda on our own little mission so we didn't spend to much time at the hostel, but what little we checked out was bang on. Chilled vibes, friendly staff, decent communual kitchen. Close enough that everything is a short walk away, but far enough away from everything so it's quiet. The private room also got cleaned everyday which is a great little perk...
Excellent hostel very clean an sociable. At this price, do not exect luxury, but the people staying there and the staff especially Harvey, are wonderful and are great guides around th island.
My first experience in a hostel. And I'll keep in my heart for ever all those beautiful people that made my first trip the best thing ever happened to me. Remember, it's not the place, it's the people you share with. Close to the beach, city centre and nice vibes.
Great hostel with a good atmosphere, the staff were brilliant and the rooftop is perfect to start your evening. The only down point was the accomodation: room was a bit small for two people and plug outlets were behind the twin beds, also the shower was clogged and the water pressure can get low when other people use the water. Other than that would recommend.
Great hostel with rooftop and jacuzzi. Jamie, the best manager !!

All things were More than OK.....very Gentle employees....Very Nice quiet Clean Place Except the thing that rooms were a bit warm without Air Condition.....Malta tempertures requires Air Condition 4 sure!!!!!! They Had only one roof ventilator and one on the ground.... Anyway 4/5 is our review!! Thanx
Very cool hostel. The prices is accord to the hostel. The kitchen always is clean!! Only 1 bad thing: the wifi is terrible! It doesn’t work well.
It was probably the best Hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff was friendly, the room was cleaned every day, the commom areas were clean and the kitchen was well equiped. Also, the location is really good - close to restaurants, supermarkets and bus stops.
Excellent location on a quiet residential street but close to the bus stops. A very friendly and helpful stuff. A kitchen for the guests with two sinks, two stoves with ovens and two good size refrigerators accessible 24/7. Great atmosphere you would not encounter in a hotel. The room was very clean, as well as the whole place. Lack of AC was not a problem for me in the second half of September. I...
Is a beautiful hotel for meet people and vacation. I was here for five nights and I am very happy because I meet new people's, you can cook however you want. The personal is so gentle, is very clean every day cleans all the hostel. About the room is very comfortable, the bathroom is small but is so clean. You have tea or coffee free all the day when you want to take it. Free Wi-Fi.
Clean, quiet, tidy hostel, with well equipped kitchen (even espresso coffee maker!). Place to have rest and relax before going out and explore surroundings. Toilets/bathrroms en suite (which is good or bad thing, depending..). Would be good to also have a toilet in the corridor, on ground floor (otherwise you have to go back to your room).

Friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. Good location in the middle of Silema, close to many buslines Clean Fridge, Aircon and lockers in dorm
Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, everyone was so friendly and helpful 😊, very well priced for a great location, we stayed 5 nights, room was comfy and had air-conditioning, nice clean toilets and showers, staff and owner were all lovely.. would stay again and would recommend a friend. Thank you all for being so welcoming 😊
Fair, basic, unassuming hostel. Recommended for short stays, 1-2 days max. I stayed for 5 and it started feeling a bit cramped, especially for the bathrooms. These are shared, and the ladies clean them around 8am...so with all the people coming, going, the toilets get shut one at a time for cleaning and it does feel a bit frustrating. Other than that, really basic services are offered, no more, no...
Really nice hostel with really good facilities. Beds are comfortable. Awesome terrace to drink a cold one. Defenetly will come again.
I was very glad to choose Granny´s Inn Hostel as a place to stay during my trip to Malta. It is in calm area, yet not far away from capital nor from busy night life. The rooms were very clean. Even though the reception is not open 24/7, the staff was prepared to help to solve any issues even out of the reception hours. To add one more plus is rooftop terrace to relax.
One word: amazing! The hostel is clean and good to live in. The huge plus: the staff! Lorena, the manager, is the sweetest and always there to help you and give you tips and the rest of the people there is lovely! I would totally recommend and stay there again for a future trip to Malta !!

Good price and good beds, central location. Kitchen was minimal but acceptable. Bathroom had a broken shower, and a bit dirty. Staff was helpful and kind.
I had a great stay at Hostel 94, checking in was simple with the help of Max. There is a kitchen if you wish to make your own food and a TV and a few couches to lounge on. The rooms were simple and clean. The only thing that could have been better would be a nicer shower (very basic). Other than that highly recommended and I'll be back hopefully during the summer!
Great location and friendly staff! 10/10 customer service. My wife and I stayed here for four nights and had a good time. Booked the private room on the third floor which was spacious and had a huge patio. The included breakfast was very basic and the cleaning services weren’t the best to be honest. Besides those two things, couldn’t really complain about anything else. A/C blew cold and the wifi was...
Great location, nice staff and good price.
Nice hostel, modern rooms and very friendly host but the bathrooms were not so modern and 1 toilet for 8men is not enough. The location is good, you can go by foot to the beach or to the ferry. The litchen area is small but covers everything you need.
The best place to meet people and have fun with them. Not the best to sleep. Good location to move among Sliema, St Julians, paceville...

I loved the gardens and open spaces to meet other mates. The staff are very polite and make you feel confortable.
The staff was very friendly. The room is clean, there is wifi, the people staying at the boho hostel are extremely friendly. My recommendation.
Great place to stay! Lovely people who run it! Clean bathrooms and a open heart! Insta: alexborntobewildtravel Awesome Experience! Cute cat named Cat Stevens is walking around. Just adorable. *****5 big stars!*****
Awesome hostel, very good vibes, the nicest receptionists. Awesome location eventhough going up the hill is awful 😆. Good spaces to meet people. I'd definitely go back!
Nice hostel, clean bathrooms, beautiful garden and outside areas. Kitchen is decent and clean. Beds could have curtains and windows SHOULD have a net because there were lots of mosquitos and the room gets quite warm. Weird check-in hours. Its up a hill and next to a busy road but still quiet and peaceful.
Super nice hostel. I met amazing people there. The staff regularly organises events such as hikes, quizzes or pub crawls, which was unfortunately not possible during covid, but is now. And the most important thing, they have a cat, which is just lovely!
