My husband and I chose this hotel because we trusted Marriott’s reputation, but our stay was shockingly bad. While the view was decent, the hotel itself felt outdated. The worst part was the service. The Indian front desk staff treated us (Asian guests) with cold indifference, yet minutes later, smiled warmly at white guests. We booked an ocean-view room but were given a garden view instead. When...
Very nice hotel clean, good location in Malta and helpful staff in front desk Raman ( if I’m not wrong) and George in coniege
Excellent! They are family friendly!
The facilities are a bit old. The toilet style is like motel. Toilet paper super thin. There are sea view rooms without sea view. Check out time 12 but they already ask you when do u check out at 11.
Stayed with handicapped Mom, Hotel gave us best room with perfect view, provided a wheelchair and took excellent service. Nice pool area snd gym. The best value for the money in the area — totally recommend!!!
Obviously the best Hotel in Malta. Must explore the whole Dragonara at your own risk of course as it's the Big Sea, you also can just go snorkeling safely around the Maltese Ghemmuna Artillery battery, which became the Scicluna Family Palace after the Banking Reset of 1873 Greta Staff starting with Upama at the Green exotic stone desk, then was guided to my cozy room by Duty Manager Sandra who explained...

First time in Malta and not just a great location to explore from but an amazing hotel stay too! From the moment we stepped in the, the staff were always pleasant and always helpful. Exceptional Service and Unforgettable Stay – Thanks to Katerina and the Team After a terrible experience at another hotel, we were relieved the moment we walked into the Intercontinental St. Julian’s, thanks to the incredible service provided by Katerina. Katerina went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were not only comfortable but truly happy during our stay. Katerina’s attention to...
What a wonderful stay. One of the best part of the trip. You can spend the whole day just staying in the hotel because it has everything. Waterbiscuit restaurant serves amazing food (though desserts is the weak point). I would not forget Smoked duck breast. Nice and comfortable room. Very nice personal. The view from balcony would be perfect without construction (Plant here need to be watered). I highly...
The staff at the hotel could not have been any friendlier. I booked a weekend stay incl free night (platinum perk) and we got a fabulous upgrade to a lovely suite. There isn’t much of a view but given that the street outside is quite ‘lively’ we didn’t mind. The small private beach has small stones not sand but there is not a lot they can do about this. The sea side Italian seafood restaurant was excellent...

I love the location. Lots of restaurants and disco pub.
A strange one as if the boss has taken his eye off the ball. On arrival we were told not to drink the tap water and there was a free dispenser in the lobby to refill bottles. But in the room the fridge was empty. No water. The lobby bar closed at 9 so if you went for dinner you were stuck. Pool towels were not available at the pool but you had to traipse back down 6 floors to Reception to get them...
The hotel is very old. The air conditioner is portable. There is no swimming pool and fitness center. Since after Covid, it is not as expected.
A fairly old hotel, although the staff was very friendly.
Good hotel, a little old but very well located, the pool is large and spacious.
This hotel has a great location in Paceville. It's close to the clubs, sea, bus stops, cheap food and nice pubs. It begins to be cold in the rooms in November which have electric heater but they doesn't work. There aren't a lot of things in hotel which are described on the hotel's page. The rooms doesn't have fridges, minibars, heating, sockets near the beds, electric kettle and cutlery. In hotel...

Another wonderful stay in what is firmly becoming my favourite Marriott hotel in Europe. Following a 4 night stay in August 2024 we returned for a 6 night stay in September 2025. We cannot fault this hotel in anyway, we arrived early around 11:00 for our reservation, we were able to leave our bags with the concierge and were given a pass to the M Club on the 13th floor ahead of our check in which...
We stayed here as a family (my husband, our baby, and I) and I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. Despite having four rainy days in Malta, we didn’t mind spending most of our time at the hotel—it was that good. We had access to the M Lounge, which I highly recommend. It’s absolutely worth paying a little extra for. Throughout the day, there were refreshments including...
Had a wonderful week here, the most amazing service, fantastic facilities and great location. We had access to the M Club which we loved. Outside kids pool was brilliant, as was having access to the indoor spa pool in the morning. Our room was spotless and had gorgeous views over the bay. All the staff were incredibly accommodating and always happy to help. The only (very small) area that could be...

This Hotel is well located. Front Desk & room services are amazing. Good choice of Breakfast buffet. Different type of restaurants inside the hotel. Indoor pool, spa is fully equipped. I must give this hotel 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
During check-in, I was informed that if I booked breakfast in advance, it would cost €22 per person, whereas the price would be €25 per person without prior reservation. Based on this information, I decided to reserve breakfast for the first day of my two-night stay at the rate of €22 per person. Very old hotel with only 1 plug in the room that works with modern day electronics lol, the hotel is nice and quiet, location is close to everything as well. But the reception desk service is the worst!
Beautiful hotel! Warm welcome from Katalina!
Beautiful grounds with great pools. Very clean rooms and a great balcony with sea views. We even received an upgrade on site. Breakfast was very varied. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Airport reachable within 20 minutes.
We booked a trip with 4 friends, but the room is a bit small and old, not like a 5-star hotel, should be 3 stars. My pillow has blood stains, I told the cleaning staff, but they didn't change the pillowcases for me. But the location is good, private beach, breakfast is ok to some extent, quite impressed.

I spent 4 nights in the hotel. Great location and affordable price. You can even leave your luggage before check in and after check out. Well book again.
It was nice staying. The location was perfect for the sightseeing!
If you book a room with a view of the courtyard, it’s affordable and worth the money. Rooms with a sea view are more expensive, and the balcony doors are too thin to block out street noise. Renovation would be a good idea.

I would describe the hotel as ideally situated to the city centre, just few minutes walking distance from the sea and cafes, restaurants and shops. Better than expected 👌One person can lie down in the king-size bed room. 🤭The front desk service attitude is good, the room is cleaned every day, and you can come and go at any time 24 hours a day. When you need help (such as the phone can't be charged), the front desk will enthusiastically guide you and tell you how to get to the repair point.
We stayed 2 nights. The hotel was very clean, modern and stylish. Room was very clean and upgraded. Their breakfast options were fairly nice, especially their coffees. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked for soft pillows and they provided me with the soft one.
A good quality hotel on the popular Sliema promenade. Rates are reasonable and breakfast is quite decent.
It's quite clean, not very quiet, but it's quite convenient to go anywhere. The service is quite good. If you book a sea view room, remember to request a high floor, because the lower floors don't have a view of the sea at all. It's quite suitable for long-term stay. There is a park in front and many people walk there. It's very safe.
the room was super clean the staff was very helpful and nice the room also had everything you need for example towels, hairdryer, fridge... location is the best everything you need is in a 2km radius(supermarkets, restaurants, bars, beaches...) when we got there the hotel was just renovated so everything was super nice the price was also fair for the conditions and i would recommend it 100%

Brilliant location, clean, helpful staff. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, but that didn't bother me too much. Rooms were clean but could do with a bit of an update. I understand the financial pressures of the Covid lock downs so, again was not a problem for me. I don't understand some of the reviews on here as my stay was just what I wanted, and for the price a bargain.
While underwhelming at first sight, give it a few days and its strategic location and kind staff will surely grow on you. Also the wi-fi is excellent.
Only stayed for 3 days, but for the price this hotel is great value, the location was good, room was spotless and cleaned to a very high standard every day, the staff are extremely hard working and the reception staff could not have been more helpful, the breakfast was of a very high standard plenty of it and piping hot. After reading a lot of negative reviews, I sort of feared having to stay here, however, after checking in and seeing my room, I couldn't quite understand why people were so negative. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Had a very bad night sleep due to road works just in front of the hotel but apart from that nothing to complain about. Would definitely come back
Great and comfortable hotel located in central Paceville. We stayed here with our infant son, they provided a crib, and had amenities like beach towels and converter plugs available. Delicious breakfast and great pizza restaurant attached. For the price, it's a great place to stay while touring around Malta.
We usually stay here when we come to Malta as it's almost in the middle of everything. The sea is 3 minute walk away. Any pizzeria is almost 3 minutes away, and if you want to eat at the Rokna anyway, they have a restaurant with great selections. Free parking for 1 hour. It's right across the street from the Hilton Hotel. Gift shops are very close. Bus stop even closer to take you to Valetta, Sliema...
Better than staying in Valetta is staying around any hotels in St.Julians bay.
Average hotel. Need some serious maintenance. Never accept the first floor rooms, you will get all the noise from the street...

Malta is a hotel with the architecture of the old stone building. The staff is friendly and attentive. Manages the garden and pool. The hotel is very well maintained. the seats in the lobby was pretty dirty. Mosquito was there. Didn't have the wire in the window. Transportation is good. There are buses from the front.
I stayed in August, the price paid, as aligned with the average in that area, does not justify the condition of the room that should be a bit renovated. For the rest of the staff has always been courteous and I had no bad surprise.
