We booked a last minute trip to the Marriott Malta and it was without a doubt the best hotel I have stayed in. All the staff were brilliant, and the food divine! This is a good hotel with a great location, as long as you get into the modern side. I really feel sorry for the staff and managers trying to juggle disgruntled guests. Had a great stay! My room got upgraded from a standard room to sea front, the standard room is better for individuals who don't plan on using the room other than to sleep and shower. The sea front room was lush! Lovely balcony, nice view + full sun during the day. I will give the hotel 5/5 as the whole experience was great, I will however point out a couple of ideas worth noting. We stayed for two weeks over Christmas and New Year, and felt at home. All the facilities we wanted, a generous size room with a great view and no direct sunshine. We usually ate out, but the hotel meals we had were adequate and inexpensive.

I came only half a day because I needed a very quiet place for teleworking as I had an important online meeting. I was very happy with the room. It was clean and I had coffee and water. I enjoyed the quietness of the room and it offered me good conditions to pass a very good online meeting. The internet signal was very good. It was a good option to come here for teleworking.

We stayed at the wonderful Palazzo Violetta in Sliema, from May 25th to June 1st. Our stay couldn't have been any better! Our apartment was absolutely incredible. My stay here was amazing! It's pretty central to many areas. 10-15min taxi ride to Valletta, 40min to MDina, and the restaurants and bars are a walk down the street. My room and parlor were beautiful. There was a soaking tub behind the bed, while a separate shower and toilet room. For me was most important the location. Location is Top. Reception 24 hours. Sadly towels were old. Zimmer also was a bit old. But for 1 night was good. I took economy room. I could check in for half hour earlier.

Loved this Hotel. It's in the central, very close to shops and staff very helpful. The hotel is in a suburban area, but not far away there are very cheap businesses to buy food and rent scooters. Within 15 minutes by scooter you can be in St Julian's, Sliema or Valletta. Really nice service, comfy for low price. However, when there was no wifi connection, it lasted 3 days to repair this; and also, rooms are spacious, but really loud because of thick walls and doors.

Stayed here in December. The rooms have aircon which you can switch to hot or cold. In the winter we needed it and I'm sure in summer you would need the opposite. Malta is a hotel with the architecture of the old stone building. The staff is friendly and attentive. Manages the garden and pool. The hotel is very well maintained. the seats in the lobby was pretty dirty. Mosquito was there. Didn't have the wire in the window. Transportation is good. There are buses from the front.

I stayed in August, the price paid, as aligned with the average in that area, does not justify the condition of the room that should be a bit renovated. For the rest of the staff has always been courteous and I had no bad surprise.
