St Julians, Spinola Road 🧭 Map
Took a deluxe room which wasn't. No cupboards no drawers no towel hooks three small open shelves only. Small safe on floor that could be picked up and removed no bath mat. Plaster falling from wall. A bit disappointed to be honest as it was expensive. Nice view though.
Wonderful location at the sea/harbor with pool and own swimming location in front of the hotel. Was not to noisy. Of course you hear some music and traffic from the coastal road. Rooms and hotel is a little aged but okay. AC on level seven had to work hard against sun from rooftop and windows but great views!
Good location to get around the city with lots of restaurants around. Clean room with marina view and not loud at night. Hard to find room near the pool/sea area. Staff could improve on English, breakfast was repetitive, I would suggest a replacement of the lift as it was very hot and takes about a minute before the doors opened.
The room is clean and with a great view. The breakfast is very good with friendly chefs making any eggs you want. You have to be early to the pool to get a spot if you’re a friend group or a family. The air conditioning is central system, that means you don’t get it under 20°c inside your room. The gym is small, but if you are creative, you can get an ok workout. Overall a good experience.
Didnt really know how to score this stay. First the positives. Hotel in a great location. Room a decent size, very clean. Pool area nice and plenty of sunbeds even though hotel was full. Being able to get straight into the sea was great. Decent breakfast. Bar reasonably priced. Plenty of options for food and drink nearby. Now the bad. When we arrived we were told there were none of the room type we...
Highly recommended! I got the room without the marina view, but you can see the alternative view in the picture. Bathroom is clean, but as usually in Malta there is no good air vent out so after a shower all is foggy and you gotta open the balcony and bathroom doors. Apart from that I was very happy with the room. I got option with breakfast and this was probably the biggest choice of food I've seen...

It's impossible to understand if a hotel is good or not in a couple of days; this isn't a 4 stars hotel. It's old, with old furnitures, an old lift. With a great restyling probably can become a good hotel. My room, for example, was not a normal room but a very small apartment. The position of the air conditioner Is criminal! In front 9f the bed??? Ok, the wifi was good, the crew very helpful but 4...
Ive Used this hotel 3 times, always stayed in a sea view room. The rooms were fairly dated and not modern. Pet peeve of mine is that the double beds are just two singles joined together, so you will end up falling through the middle where the two beds join depending how you sleep. The aircon or heating didn't work at the time of my visits, fortunately it wasn't peak of summer. There's loads of...
They dont have laundry service also if you ask for ice is like you are asking a favor
Dont stay here, on the internet looks good but is not. Bad rooms, old gym, slow wifi and only at lobby
The rooftop swimming pool is a great place to relax. It offers commanding views of the city.
get a room by the sea if you wanna reach the door easily:). hotel is old but good

Excellent hotel for the price. Highly recommended. Thank you to everyone who made us feel at home all the time
Really nice staff, the rooms was a bit small, so you had to watch your steps not to bump your toes on the bed. The bed was really nice though and the room had a small balcony facing the street. We thought there was no warm water, turned out there was a switch, which said NOT to turn off, but apparently it was switched off when we arrived. The room was clean, except for the lamppost and toilet-roll...
Staff incredibly friendly, the breakfast was excellent. We loved having the rooftop pool option. The cleaning staff did an excellent job every day. The only thing lacking was that the bathtub in our room kept leaking, so the floor was always wet.
Good decent hotel in St Julian's. We stayed here for 4 days. The staff were nice, however they made us pay extra for my wife as the hotel booking was for 1 person and not 2, despite there being no price difference if booking with 2 or 1

The hotel has all you would expect from a solid Holiday Inn Express, but with the added benefit if being able to use the pool and spa facilities for the adjacent Intercontinental hotel (accessible directly from the building). This gets you 5 starts facilities for the price of a mid-range hotel. Another advantage is the awesome view you get from the breakfast room in the 8th floor. You can also have...
Amazing value, i managed to stay for 55 euro per night. Staff were friendly and room is great. You can use the pool at the intercontinental next door
Perfect Location , perfect room and super clean , amazing facilities also you can use the Intercontinental hotel facilities . Breakfast was amazing .. i highly recommend travelers to stay there
The hotel is clean, quiet and the staff very friendly. I don’t like the area but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Breakfast was poor. Like a motorway service station. More suited for clubbing teens.

For me was most important the location. Location is Top. Reception 24 hours. Sadly towels were old. Zimmer also was a bit old. But for 1 night was good. I took economy room. I could check in for half hour earlier.
Extremely friendly stuff, I booked my room for 4 nights and they always cleaned my room, I got always fresh towels, it was really nice. I got always a smile when I left and when I came back. Thank you for everything!! Next year I am coming back for sure!!! 🤗
Great location! Friendly and professional staff, always happy to help and provide support. Clean, spacious room. 24-hour reception, daily cleaning, shop open to 11pm in the loft part of the hotel entrance. Super close to attractions (night life, bars, restaurants, pool, etc), we walked around during the road connection. They got vending machines on the ground floor with water, soft drinks, cigarettes...
Just finished a five night stay at St Julians Bay Hotel. I did not look at reviews prior to booking. I did read reviews afterwards and arrived nervous not knowing what to expect. I can honestly say, I had nothing to be nervous about. We didn't experience anything negative as detailed in previous negative reviews, other than I will admit the rooms are a little tired and could do with updating,...
Great sea views but the room we stayed in had a very bad smell. The lady I spoke to was not friendly and was disappointed to say the least. Shame because it could be a great hotel with the correct people running it. Customer service is key
Very cheap and we'll located bed & breakfast. Rooms are well cleaned and equipment of the room is new. Bathroom are modern and big. Reception crew are always kind and helpful.

it is a cheap place and at a great location .rooms are big and spacious lift is a bit scary but other than that it is a great place close to the heart of paceville and right across the road from the beach. love it!
Great stay for 3 nights with great food, we stayed half board. We paid extra for a sea view and it was an amazing view! Totally worth the money. The bar next door played music till 4 am but it didn't bother me, but bring ear plugs if it bothers you. Right on the sea front, such a perfect location!

Not to bad. -clean room -clean hotel -great friendly staff Ehhh... -filled bath tub with water and the tub turned yellowish. -have to pay extra if you want WiFi in your room. -FREE WiFi but all the way up in the 7th floor.
good location, really cheap, and plenty of breakfast! for a quick vacation in Malta, or to spend a little more time and recommended! bus stop very close, many restaurants and clubs within a 2 minute walk. recommended
Rooms and appliances are vintage. You will be never see those TV and AC anywhere else I guess. Cant complain, its a value deal.
I was there in a double room without sea view .At the beggining i was surprised about the room,it was little near the elevator and stairs and apart of that air conditioning was making annoying noise. After one night they offered a new room but with plug ears we could sleep.Overall it was a good deal,it had everything and it was placed near a bus stop from where we had connection to everything. It has...
Nice hotel, friendly staff, and an excellent location! A plus for the sunbath terrace on the 8th floor and especially for the view, an awesome panoramic view of Sliema waterfront! A minus would be for the Wi-Fi, available only at the casual lounge from the 7th floor ..and in the room next to the casual lounge, which I was lucky to have :) Breakfast is scheduled between 7:30 and 10:00 AM.

We had a really wonderful time at the Hilton Malta. The service was top tier and the location worked great. Several beautiful pools, and plenty of sun loungers with umbrellas. Just lovely! The room was spacious. The bell man was extremely kind. The breakfast in the executive lounge was great. The staff was nice. The grounds are beautiful. Nice to enjoy status benefits!!!
Well run and all you need. A bit corporate yet this is what you expect. Good buffet breakfast and pool bar menu. Access to beach club but only for June. Near lots of good well priced restaurants. The location’s down side is the total over development of Malta. Select carefully the direction of your room.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was amazing with a great layout, beautiful view, and very clean. The food here was outstanding with many local favorites and a great variety of global choices.

This hotel is in a good location, not far at all from central Valletta. This is definitely the hotel’s biggest selling point. One point to note is that there is a lot of uphill walking/ steps to get anywhere from the hotel so bear this in mind if this could be an issue for you, particularly in the heat/humidity. Unfortunately, the service is absolutely awful. Staff are incredibly slow and mismanaged...

We've had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is lovely, the staff are great and rooms very spacious. Even though it is a big hotel it retains the feeling of a smaller hotel and never once felt overly busy.
Went here in 2018 and we loved it and decided to go back at end of May. We loved our stay and breakfast was excellent as were the staff serving and also cleaning staff. We were a bit disappointed with the Superior room we'd booked. Beautiful hotel with great facilities.2 pools . Service impeccable.Constantly cleaning your rooms. Food in hotel a little bit pricey. We had breakfast every day which was amazing a wide choice of hot and cold options. Smoked salmon on tap.
Great hotel, lovely staff and breakfast. Beautiful island. Only problem was that they don't tell you there are 88 steps up to leave the hotel. There is a shuttle bus but only at 10am and 6pm. I recently had a hip replacement and it was challenging. It should be mentioned especially for the not so young as they may find it difficult . For that reason we won't t return, lovely as it was.

The staff at the hotel could not have been any friendlier. I booked a weekend stay incl free night (platinum perk) and we got a fabulous upgrade to a lovely suite. Amazing property , it's one of the best intercontinental hotel I stayed, it is perfectly located and the staff at the reception were super helpful and friendly, I was able to check in early. We attended Sky Beach at the Intercontinental in Malta and may I say, It was something special. TRUE DEFINITION OF A PROFESIONAL CARING HOTEL. The facilities of the hotel are exactly as they offer, a stunning rooftop pool, a varied free buffet, spacious, clean and modern rooms, and even quite expensive shampoos! Really lovely hotel, beds are comfy, pool is beautiful (but very limited sun beds so make sure you get in early) and reception staff were all really nice. I really wanted to like this hotel, but my stay at the Westin Dragonara in St. Julian’s, Malta, was deeply disappointing. Excellent service throughout, from Henri welcoming us personally at breakfast through to everyone actually, from main desk to room servicing - everyone extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The only thing I’d say...
Fabulous stay even if just a nite. Didn't make use of the hotel facilities bar the breakfast buffet. Busy as it was the hostess Marisa was in point. Manning that desk wholly independently even if I think that there should have been 2 people given the volume of guests. Yet if you watched her comings and goings you'd have seen a beaming warm welcome, an enchanting introduction to the restaurant and...
This hotel needs to up it's game to be a 5 star rating. Pool in shade most of day. Buffet food mainly cold salads and meat. Hot food only ever lukewarm and hardly any choice. Not much info given out by reception staff. Only interested in looking at screens not very smiley or helpful. Found out lot more from our jet2 holiday rep. Overall OK. But much nicer hotels nearer facilities. Lots of building...
We loved the hotel and had a fantastic stay. The food was excellent, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Above all we thought the staff were excellent. From the bar staff at The Bridge and The Edge to the breakfast staff and the cleaners - they couldn’t have been more helpful and offered excellent customer service as well as being friendly and efficient! We would like to give special thanks...
Excellent - rooms clean and well presented. Staff generally attentive but breakfast service needs to be sharpened up. Staff outside by the pool needed to be asked for tea/milk etc. Food of very good standard and enjoyable Nice pool areas. Location reasonable away from the noise of the main area but walk to bus stop challenging if you have issues. We had a good stay - thank you.
I was staying in an apartment in St Julian’s with my friends, and we were looking for a good spa centre near by. We choose the spa in the Radisson blu, and it was amazing. We had a massage, use the sauna, hot tub, indoor and outdoor pool. Everything was great, the staff was really pleasant and happy to answer all our questions. I would really recommend it, and I will definitely come back.

Absolutely recommend. The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early. It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large...
The room was a lot smaller than we thought but it’s okay since we’re not in our room all the time anyway. The service however? Outstanding! Cannot thank the staff enough for the warm welcomes, excellent service and kindness especially to Kristian, Njambe and Marie who we met in the pool and then became our group tour host. All of them greeted us like old friends and gave us tips how to enjoy Malta...
The rooms are amazing. Especially for Europe. The pool is a beach club. It’s loud and crowded not chill and relaxing like it looks in the photo, which was a big downer for me. They also took my water bottle and I felt like I should be able to bring my water to what I thought was the hotel pool. The spa was a little weird in terms of service. Also, having the website for your code and stuff was a little...
We really enjoyed our stay here. We were kindly upgraded at check in from a superior room to a suite which offered more space. Spa was lovely and empty in the mornings. We were always able to get a spot at the beach club and enjoyed the facilities there immensely. It is only a short walk away, though closes at 6.30pm. The trips are a lovely addition but book up quickly - we managed to go on a sunset...
The bar is lovely. The Hotel Front service staff are super helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced, nice, relaxing atmosphere. The bartender was incredibly clean and hygienic while making the drinks! Would come back next time we are in sliema.
Really lovely hotel and beach club. Staff were lovely, food really good, great value happy hour. Sadly building works next door were very noisy some mornings but obviously not the hotel’s fault! Only downside is Sliema is a bit out of the way - not easy access to Valletta (which we had hoped for) but overall really enjoyed and recommend!
