Excellent location and facilities. And breakfast. The only comment would be all the restrictions on usage of skybeach was confusing.
The room facilities are complete, the hotel is clean and comfortable, and the front desk reception staff are warm and thoughtful
good location, nice staff, nice swimming pool nice stay for 2 nights
First time in Malta and not just a great location to explore from but an amazing hotel stay too! From the moment we stepped in the, the staff were always pleasant and always helpful. Sopo, at breakfast ensured we had what we needed and Mina was fast to offer her assistance! Pradeep would make sure we were satisfied with our food and always took care to tell us what was where. The room was clean and...
Exceptional Service and Unforgettable Stay – Thanks to Katerina and the Team After a terrible experience at another hotel, we were relieved the moment we walked into the Intercontinental St. Julian’s, thanks to the incredible service provided by Katerina. Katerina went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were not only comfortable but truly happy during our stay. Katerina’s attention to...
What a wonderful stay. One of the best part of the trip. You can spend the whole day just staying in the hotel because it has everything. Waterbiscuit restaurant serves amazing food (though desserts is the weak point). I would not forget Smoked duck breast. Nice and comfortable room. Very nice personal. The view from balcony would be perfect without construction (Plant here need to be watered). I highly...

It is supposed to be a five star hotel, unfortunately it is showing signs of fatigue. The tiles in the bath room are chipped and has become hard to clean as a result. The carpet feels old as well. However, service remains good and the breakfast offers a good choice. There is a small private beach which allows bathing in the sea with fish swimming around you, which was very pleasant.
We visited this hotel last year and loved it. However we’ve recently been back and had to wait till well after 3pm for our room (check in 3pm)which meant we wasted a lot of our first day. Also bar service was poor. It seemed there was no one in charge even though there were plenty of staff and those making drinks had little training, particularly if we ordered cocktails. Even a beer took 15minutes...
Excellent hotel and superb location for visiting Valletta (10 minutes walk to the City Gate and the bus station). We booked for 5 nights and at check-in were given a complementary upgrade to a sea view room. What a room! I was hoping for a high floor. Reception was level 6 and we were given a bedroom on level 2. The porter asked which room we were in and when told said it was a very nice room. It was...
This hotel is in a tremendous location for visiting Valletta. Hotel itself is good, with comfortable rooms and beds. The pool area is excellent, with a large pool and also access to swim in the sea. Plenty of shaded areas and an attentive bar staff. The indoor bar areas and public areas are perfect for meeting or to grab a small meal and a drink. I wish the hotel had a good restaurant, but there are...
After booking to come, I saw numerous negative reviews of this hotel which made me quite skeptical. However, our stay on the whole was pleasant. The hotel is in a great location; it’s a 10 minute walk into Valletta (although there are a lot of steps) and we enjoyed numerous trips and dinners there throughout our holiday. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are lovely and there are always beds available...
This hotel is in a good location, not far at all from central Valletta. This is definitely the hotel’s biggest selling point. One point to note is that there is a lot of uphill walking/ steps to get anywhere from the hotel so bear this in mind if this could be an issue for you, particularly in the heat/humidity. Unfortunately, the service is absolutely awful. Staff are incredibly slow and mismanaged...

I love the location. Lots of restaurants and disco pub.
A strange one as if the boss has taken his eye off the ball. On arrival we were told not to drink the tap water and there was a free dispenser in the lobby to refill bottles. But in the room the fridge was empty. No water. The lobby bar closed at 9 so if you went for dinner you were stuck. Pool towels were not available at the pool but you had to traipse back down 6 floors to Reception to get them...
The hotel is very old. The air conditioner is portable. There is no swimming pool and fitness center. Since after Covid, it is not as expected.
A fairly old hotel, although the staff was very friendly.
Good hotel, a little old but very well located, the pool is large and spacious.
This hotel has a great location in Paceville. It's close to the clubs, sea, bus stops, cheap food and nice pubs. It begins to be cold in the rooms in November which have electric heater but they doesn't work. There aren't a lot of things in hotel which are described on the hotel's page. The rooms doesn't have fridges, minibars, heating, sockets near the beds, electric kettle and cutlery. In hotel...

My husband and I chose this hotel because we trusted Marriott’s reputation, but our stay was shockingly bad. While the view was decent, the hotel itself felt outdated. The worst part was the service. The Indian front desk staff treated us (Asian guests) with cold indifference, yet minutes later, smiled warmly at white guests. We booked an ocean-view room but were given a garden view instead. When...
Very nice hotel clean, good location in Malta and helpful staff in front desk Raman ( if I’m not wrong) and George in coniege
Excellent! They are family friendly!
The facilities are a bit old. The toilet style is like motel. Toilet paper super thin. There are sea view rooms without sea view. Check out time 12 but they already ask you when do u check out at 11.
Stayed with handicapped Mom, Hotel gave us best room with perfect view, provided a wheelchair and took excellent service. Nice pool area snd gym. The best value for the money in the area — totally recommend!!!
Obviously the best Hotel in Malta. Must explore the whole Dragonara at your own risk of course as it's the Big Sea, you also can just go snorkeling safely around the Maltese Ghemmuna Artillery battery, which became the Scicluna Family Palace after the Banking Reset of 1873 Greta Staff starting with Upama at the Green exotic stone desk, then was guided to my cozy room by Duty Manager Sandra who explained...

The hotel is very nice, the service is good, and the executive lounge is very comfortable.
This hotel is very good, right by the sea, with beautiful views. The service and breakfast are also very good. This is the only hotel in Europe that I have experienced that provides enough bottled water in the room, and the waiter will take the initiative to ask if you need any other help in the evening. The only drawback is that the hotel entrance is on an alley, which is not easy to park.
At first, I booked a superior king, but when I checked in, they downgraded the room without any notice, and the next day, after asking again, they changed it to an ocean view room. I felt that they didn't give enough advance notice. Other than that, the breakfast and the location of the facilities were good.
The best choice for accommodation in Malta! The rooms are spacious, the hotel facilities are well maintained, the service is thoughtful, and there are many food options downstairs and around the hotel. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi from the old town of Valletta, and Uber is about 10 euros. It is much more cost-effective and comfortable than living in the old town of Valletta.
Overall really great hotel. No complaints. Loved the breakfast, can recommend
I was a little worried before checking in, afraid that the high score was not true, but the location of the hotel is great, the hardware conditions are also good, and the service is particularly worthy of praise. The whole stay experience is amazing, recommended!

This Hotel is well located. Front Desk & room services are amazing. Good choice of Breakfast buffet. Different type of restaurants inside the hotel. Indoor pool, spa is fully equipped. I must give this hotel 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
During check-in, I was informed that if I booked breakfast in advance, it would cost €22 per person, whereas the price would be €25 per person without prior reservation. Based on this information, I decided to reserve breakfast for the first day of my two-night stay at the rate of €22 per person. Beautiful hotel! Warm welcome from Katalina!
Beautiful grounds with great pools. Very clean rooms and a great balcony with sea views. We even received an upgrade on site. Breakfast was very varied. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Airport reachable within 20 minutes.
Very good, there was a construction site nearby but we couldn't hear it in our room.
We booked a trip with 4 friends, but the room is a bit small and old, not like a 5-star hotel, should be 3 stars. My pillow has blood stains, I told the cleaning staff, but they didn't change the pillowcases for me. But the location is good, private beach, breakfast is ok to some extent, quite impressed.
The hotel has a nice view and the service is also very good. The only problem is that there is no charging port at the bedside. There are only charging ports behind the TV and next to the TV cabinet. The charging port behind the TV cabinet needs to move the cabinet out a little to use it, otherwise it is difficult to insert the conversion plug and the length of the original plug. The cabinet is very...
A very nice hotel close to the hustle and bustle, but still far enough away to find peace and quiet. We had a very nice room with a frontal view of the beautiful bay and St Julien's coast. Lovely hotel however unfortunately it is currently under going building works. We had a suite with sea view however also a view of cranes, builders, noise and dust outside windows. Builders also in room one day without notice!!!! Great gym, lovely small indoor pool but wait until building works completed before visiting.
the room was really clean and good customer service staff was really friendly and they looked after really well and help us find places to go visit and enjoy the local restaurants and bars
The elevator being out of order was explained to us in advance, so we didn't think it was a problem. But the noise from the renovation work, which was going on from morning to evening, was unbearably loud. Maybe it was right below the room where the work was being done... the sound of the drills and all the vibrations were echoing in my head. We weren't told about this when we checked in, so I think...
Very good hotel, well located, everyone very friendly, good room, I would definitely stay there again. 100% recommended.
We stayed at a hotel in Valletta on a tour, but it was too small, so we moved to this hotel. The facilities were old but clean, the location was good, and we had a great view of the ocean from the balcony. There was a bus stop close to the hotel, so it was convenient. There were also several restaurants, and the supermarket was less than 5 minutes away, so it was convenient. The room was a standard...

Rooms are clean, large and comfortable, service is fantastic, beautiful hotel. Of the restaurants, the Rooftop Bar was the best for dinner- they were outstanding service, drinks and food. Lovely hotel with excellent facilities. Lovely large rooms with balconies, mini fridge and great amenities in the bathroom. Good service at all bars and friendly staff throughout. It was my first time on Malta and this was the best experience ever! Hotel is so nice, clean, tidy, quiet. Beds so comfortable, all facilities available. Staff is so lovely, helpful, I felt like home and so much welcomed! Gorgeous roof swimming pool, excellent breakfast in hotel. Absolutely recommend. The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early. It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large...
The room was a lot smaller than we thought but it’s okay since we’re not in our room all the time anyway. The service however? Outstanding! All of them greeted us like old friends and gave us tips how to enjoy Malta...
The rooms are amazing. Especially for Europe. The pool is a beach club. It’s loud and crowded not chill and relaxing like it looks in the photo, which was a big downer for me. They also took my water bottle and I felt like I should be able to bring my water to what I thought was the hotel pool. The spa was a little weird in terms of service. Also, having the website for your code and stuff was a little...
We really enjoyed our stay here. We were kindly upgraded at check in from a superior room to a suite which offered more space. Spa was lovely and empty in the mornings. The bar is lovely. The Hotel Front service staff are super helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced, nice, relaxing atmosphere. The bartender was incredibly clean and hygienic while making the drinks! Would come back next time we are in sliema.
Really lovely hotel and beach club. Staff were lovely, food really good, great value happy hour. Sadly building works next door were very noisy some mornings but obviously not the hotel’s fault! Only downside is Sliema is a bit out of the way - not easy access to Valletta (which we had hoped for) but overall really enjoyed and recommend!

It's impossible to understand if a hotel is good or not in a couple of days; this isn't a 4 stars hotel. It's old, with old furnitures, an old lift. Ive Used this hotel 3 times, always stayed in a sea view room. The rooms were fairly dated and not modern. Pet peeve of mine is that the double beds are just two singles joined together, so you will end up falling through the middle where the two beds join depending how you sleep. It’s super close to the ferry dock, which makes getting around really easy. The room itself was in great condition—modern, clean, and well-maintained. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and while there was some traffic noise (which is common in Malta), it didn...
Had a lovely 3-night stay at Land's End. We stayed in the Distinct Room, which had a small balcony. It was quiet and peaceful, very clean, and the housekeeping was excellent. We had one meal at the restaurant on the first floor—the food was tasty, especially the cheese dip. The location is great, with plenty of food, drink, and shopping options nearby. Plus, it's only a couple of minutes’ walk to...
Land's End Boutique Hotel is a truly wonderful place and highly recommended! The hotel boasts a spectacular view of the bay and Valletta, both from the balcony and the restaurant, creating a breathtaking experience from morning to evening. The staff was absolutely delightful, professional, and friendly. Special thanks go to the lady in the breakfast restaurant, who made each morning so pleasant. From...

Very convenient hotel, near many restaurants and bars. Room is not too big but clean, modern and has everything you need. Small balcony too. Nice breakfast, bit noisy though. A morning stroll around the island with the fort is worth it! Ferry to Valletta is super easy!
We got an upgrade apartment 2 rooms 2 bathroom, amazing apartment equipment with kitchen and washing machine, which for us was stunningly good and we appreciate it! We got the buffet (breakfast) where you can get plenty options, thanks to Lina that she gave us an amazingly service while we were there. Overall, everything and everyone were pleasant I would definitely recommend to you!
Good value for money, very good location of the hotel
This is my 3rd time at Bayview Hotel and I'm glad I returned again as it's ideally located, budget-friendly, rooms are big, wifi is strong, ample secured parking, reception staff is helpful and friendly, while maid service is efficient. Their breakfast though quite good, could have been improved by way of service. I realised that this time, their staff isn't as attentive as they used to be. I have...
We had a lovely stay at the Bayview Hotel last week. Great location with a bus stop right outside that is direct to the airport, and Ferry terminal is a very short walk from where you can take the ferry across to Valletta. Many reviews mentioned the noise from the road in the sea view rooms so we were prepared with ear plugs as the rooms are not very well insulated. Excellent nights sleep, bed was...
Had a great stay! My room got upgraded from a standard room to sea front, the standard room is better for individuals who don't plan on using the room other than to sleep and shower. The sea front room was lush! Lovely balcony, nice view + full sun during the day. Sad that it was so noisy in the evenings due to the restaurants downstairs playing music + smell of cigarettes during the evening.

Great hotel! The bad reviews of this hotel is mainly based on the cheap 4-star sister hotel. At the 5-star hotel, we stayed in the luxurious spa bedrooms with private pool. ❤️

Sleima and itis next to sea front
Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.
This is not 4 star. we have been going to Malta for the last 10 years and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. Apparently they are closing it next year according to the holiday rep and this would make sense as the rooms needed updating and the food needs improving. The front of house staff were not very friendly. The location is lovely and the cleaning staff were brilliant.
The place is closing soon for a major and much needed refurbishment. Let's hope it returns as one of the best hotels in Malta when it re-opens in 2020.
