good location, nice staff, nice swimming pool nice stay for 2 nights
First time in Malta and not just a great location to explore from but an amazing hotel stay too! From the moment we stepped in the, the staff were always pleasant and always helpful. Sopo, at breakfast ensured we had what we needed and Mina was fast to offer her assistance! Pradeep would make sure we were satisfied with our food and always took care to tell us what was where. The room was clean and...
Exceptional Service and Unforgettable Stay – Thanks to Katerina and the Team After a terrible experience at another hotel, we were relieved the moment we walked into the Intercontinental St. Julian’s, thanks to the incredible service provided by Katerina. Katerina went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were not only comfortable but truly happy during our stay. Katerina’s attention to...
What a wonderful stay. One of the best part of the trip. You can spend the whole day just staying in the hotel because it has everything. Waterbiscuit restaurant serves amazing food (though desserts is the weak point). I would not forget Smoked duck breast. Nice and comfortable room. Very nice personal. The view from balcony would be perfect without construction (Plant here need to be watered). I highly...
The staff at the hotel could not have been any friendlier. I booked a weekend stay incl free night (platinum perk) and we got a fabulous upgrade to a lovely suite. There isn’t much of a view but given that the street outside is quite ‘lively’ we didn’t mind. The small private beach has small stones not sand but there is not a lot they can do about this. The sea side Italian seafood restaurant was excellent...

Upama made my hotel stay unforgettable—warm smile, quick help and super professional. She’s an asset to the hotel. 10/10 would book again!
I recently stayed at the Westin Dragonara in Malta and had a mixed experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers true 5-star amenities. The property is well maintained, the breakfast buffet was very nice with a good variety, and the location is excellent—close to nightlife, restaurants, and entertainment. Having the casino right next door is also a plus for those who enjoy that. However, the...
The staff in particular are so pleasant, helpful, and efficient, in all areas they created the right atmosphere. The half board option worked well for us and the food quality was often remarkable. Rooms, both garden and sea view, were very comfortable, clean and spacious. My elderly parents loved the hotel and the high quality 13m indoor pool/sauna/steam/jacuzzi. We also found the gym excellent and...
Facilities: Well-equipped, much more so than other international hotels! Cleanliness: Very clean! This hotel is smoke-free! Thumbs up! Environment: Convenient location with many great restaurants nearby! Service: Patient and attentive service!
The hotel is nicely located, close to the sea and close to the centre of St. Julian‘s. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are more than helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was eccellent; the breakfast, too. If we really had to find something that could be improved, it would be the noise level during breakfast. The room where you have breakfast has lovely wide windows which allow...
This is a beautiful hotel, perfectly located in the St Julian's area filled with great shops and restaurants. The rooms are spotless, stylish, and very tastefully decorated. We stayed on the 7th floor (the hotel has eight floors in total) with a lovely sea view, which really enhanced the experience. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The small touches...

The location is great, close to the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was tasty and with lots of variety. The only downside is the proximity to bars and nightclubs, which can get quite loud at night.
Beautiful hotel, conveniently located close to the beach. Lovely area and hotel staff are providing excellent service .
Good location,friendly staff.
In the mall, this price is set at the Hyatt Bar next to it. The breakfast environment is very average.
Stay was very good, staff was super kind and quick to react. Worth the money and the outdoor pool is gorgeous. Their breakfasts are good too! Wish they dealt with mold in our room, wasn’t very bad but it was a bit concerning, so look out for that (the only reason I gave the place 4 stars)
Location is great if you love nightlife. If you are older, then you definitely need your ear plugs. Lovely small beach but then all the beaches are small here in Malta. You can get buses to all the places of interest from St Julian.

Malta Marriott Resort & Spa offers an exceptional stay combining comfort, style, and great service. The rooms are spacious and modern, many with beautiful sea views. Exceptional Experience!!! We have conlcuded our conference at the Malta Marriott Resort & Spa, and the experience was outstanding in every respect! Another wonderful stay in what is firmly becoming my favourite Marriott hotel in Europe. Following a 4 night stay in August 2024 we returned for a 6 night stay in September 2025. We cannot fault this hotel in anyway, we arrived early around 11:00 for our reservation, we were able to leave our bags with the concierge and were given a pass to the M Club on the 13th floor ahead of our check in which...
We stayed here as a family (my husband, our baby, and I) and I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. Despite having four rainy days in Malta, we didn’t mind spending most of our time at the hotel—it was that good. We had access to the M Lounge, which I highly recommend. It’s absolutely worth paying a little extra for. Throughout the day, there were refreshments including...
Had a wonderful week here, the most amazing service, fantastic facilities and great location. We had access to the M Club which we loved. Outside kids pool was brilliant, as was having access to the indoor spa pool in the morning. Our room was spotless and had gorgeous views over the bay. All the staff were incredibly accommodating and always happy to help. The only (very small) area that could be...

Vivaldi is my favourite composer, and the hotel did justice to his name. I enjoyed my stay as it exceeded my expectations. Staff were great. Jununu at front desk also helped to secure breakfast on the go as I had to check out at 530 am (sadly) as I would have stayed longer in Malta. Clean room (the view wasn't great as it faced another building and lackex privacy), good breakfast (when dining at...

Lovely stay. Hotel well placed in town. Room large. Could do with a bit of updating but there was that option for a higher charge. It had a balcony and overlooked the Mediterranean. Gym 4/5 - with free weights, cable machine and dumbbells, can do a pretty good workout. Sauna 3/5 - an extra €6 to use. Breakfast 4-5/5 - excellent, best breakfast, plenty of variety, even some Maltese dishes. Beach - St George’s Bay beach is nearby but not that nice.
The staff where both welcoming and helpful. Especially the cleaning staff who did a very good job cleaning my room. I very much liked the fact that they have both an ice machine and vending machine. The swimming pool indoors is quite good and clean in my opinion. Although some minor repair work is needed. The gym is quite good with many machines to choose from. During check-in, I was informed that if I booked breakfast in advance, it would cost €22 per person, whereas the price would be €25 per person without prior reservation. Very old hotel with only 1 plug in the room that works with modern day electronics lol, the hotel is nice and quiet, location is close to everything as well. But the reception desk service is the worst!
Beautiful hotel! Warm welcome from Katalina!
Beautiful grounds with great pools. Very clean rooms and a great balcony with sea views. We even received an upgrade on site. Breakfast was very varied. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Airport reachable within 20 minutes.
We booked a trip with 4 friends, but the room is a bit small and old, not like a 5-star hotel, should be 3 stars. My pillow has blood stains, I told the cleaning staff, but they didn't change the pillowcases for me. But the location is good, private beach, breakfast is ok to some extent, quite impressed.

The place was well located, the staff was friendly and helpful, the view was amazing.  Great place to stay
The sea view is nice, but that's all. The price is 200 euros a night, the room is average, the breakfast is generally okay but not very tasty and messy. The service is almost non-existent, and the front desk service attitude is average. But all hotels abroad are like this, so I can give it a 4 point overall

Amazing service at Reception. We had a great stay with a spectacular sea view. Mickel gave us some tips on how to make the most of our stay. The room was very clean and daily refreshed. We will be back😄
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the entire staff for the exceptional care and hospitality during our recent stay. The attention to detail and the extra effort and pampering made our experience truly memorable and comfortable. We greatly appreciate their kindness and professionalism, and we will certainly recommend the Hotel to others.
We had a wonderful time at your establishment. The pools were lovely, the beach bars were well-stocked, and the staff was courteous and professional. We appreciated the fact that there were no babies present, as it allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation in peace. Thank you for your hospitality.
Great location. Food was OK if you are here for a day. They haven't changed the breakfast menu not once in the week I was here. It is ridiculous to say they have "spa and sauna". Personally I really dislike the wooden chairs, tables and beds' base. it gives out "ancient" feel. otherwise the bed mattress was comfortable. Great terrace view. Plenty of outdoor pools.

Took a deluxe room which wasn't. No cupboards no drawers no towel hooks three small open shelves only. Small safe on floor that could be picked up and removed no bath mat. Plaster falling from wall. A bit disappointed to be honest as it was expensive. Nice view though.
Wonderful location at the sea/harbor with pool and own swimming location in front of the hotel. Was not to noisy. Of course you hear some music and traffic from the coastal road. Rooms and hotel is a little aged but okay. AC on level seven had to work hard against sun from rooftop and windows but great views!
Good location to get around the city with lots of restaurants around. Clean room with marina view and not loud at night. Hard to find room near the pool/sea area. Staff could improve on English, breakfast was repetitive, I would suggest a replacement of the lift as it was very hot and takes about a minute before the doors opened.
The room is clean and with a great view. The breakfast is very good with friendly chefs making any eggs you want. You have to be early to the pool to get a spot if you’re a friend group or a family. The air conditioning is central system, that means you don’t get it under 20°c inside your room. The gym is small, but if you are creative, you can get an ok workout. Overall a good experience.
Didnt really know how to score this stay. First the positives. Hotel in a great location. Room a decent size, very clean. Pool area nice and plenty of sunbeds even though hotel was full. Being able to get straight into the sea was great. Decent breakfast. Bar reasonably priced. Plenty of options for food and drink nearby. Now the bad. Highly recommended! I got the room without the marina view, but you can see the alternative view in the picture. Bathroom is clean, but as usually in Malta there is no good air vent out so after a shower all is foggy and you gotta open the balcony and bathroom doors. Really great hotel in the middle of Sliema. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival as the hotel shared its amenities with a five-star hotel next door, so practically you’re getting five-star amenities for a four-star hotel price! I forgot to bring my swim shorts but even in December the rooftop pool was heated which would’ve been a very nice addition to my stay
Perfect location. Lovely staff. Rooftop pool was amazing. Really can’t fault anything. Looking forward to returning.
The hotel boasts a convenient location, just a 7-10 minute walk to the bus stop and port, and a mere 3-5 minutes to a Lidl supermarket. The location is a little hard to find, but the service is very good, the price is affordable, and I was lucky to be upgraded to a superior suite. Although the room has a little problem with sound insulation, it was quickly resolved.
The location was great, in Sliema, so it was great for shopping, going to the beach, and going to cafes. The only thing we regret is that we caught a cold and had to stay in bed, so we couldn't go to the gym or spa that we had prepared for us.

Brilliant location, clean, helpful staff. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, but that didn't bother me too much. Rooms were clean but could do with a bit of an update. I understand the financial pressures of the Covid lock downs so, again was not a problem for me. I don't understand some of the reviews on here as my stay was just what I wanted, and for the price a bargain.
While underwhelming at first sight, give it a few days and its strategic location and kind staff will surely grow on you. Also the wi-fi is excellent.

Would not hesitate to return if in Malta again.

After reading a lot of negative reviews, I sort of feared having to stay here, however, after checking in and seeing my room, I couldn't quite understand why people were so negative. Its a budget hotel, yes, but for what you are paying its actually okay. For me it was fine and I am happy with my experience there.
Lifts were not always working. During my stay, i had a few days where I had to walk up and down the stairs a couple of times. One would get fun and then break again. Hot water was not reliable. I had to leave running for half an hour before getting mild warm water.
For the $53 per night that we paid we had everything we needed. The room was plain but  adequate in size, shower, coffee maker, hair dryer, tv, refrigerator, small balcony, front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool, sauna. Easy to get to get to. It’s been a rollercoaster with this hotel, and I was changing my mind about it a couple of times, but here’s the truth. Great location, short walk to waterfront and maybe 10 mins to all the restaurants but in a quiet neighbourhood. Great reception, room was spotless, comfie bed and pillows! The rate included breakfast which was really nice and fresh - staff at breakfast were lovely! Served on rooftop terrace which we really enjoyed. Staff super responsive to any queries. Highly recommend!!!
The exterior is simple and distinctive, and the interior has been renovated, clean and bright, combining old buildings with modern styles. The hotel is 50 meters away from the beach, and there are many bus lines that can directly reach the scenic spots.
I was quite satisfied with the room provided to me. However, I had a large unwelcome guest upon arrival. It was cleaned up and removed the next morning and all was good after that. I would recommend staying there and will again

The room was lovely (especially the bathroom), the rooftop pool and indoor pool and jacuzzi were lovely, the breakfast was great and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We also got a discount on an amazing massage and the spa facilities :) I would 100% recommend staying here!!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the breakfast selection was limited, and the rooms smelled of stale grease and food in the morning. The pool was small but acceptable. The elevator was a disaster; using the stairs was very outdated. The location was usually expensive with Uber and Bolt. The beach is far from the hotel.
I've booked twice in a month offers for relaxing massage and spa and I loved it each time. Highly recommended place. The personnel are very kind and helping, the massage therapists are very experienced and caring. Mayor point for me to want to come back for more are the clean and divers spa facilities. After a swim and jacuzzi, I love the sir in the stream room, sauna, cold room and a bucket shower...
