Pros : The AV system is ok. The room, facilities and grounds were nice and quiet. The greenery and surrounding areas is beautiful. It does however,have a rundown vibe, but it doesn't bother me or my clients much, most of us were comfortable and slept well. I like the pillows very much.
Cons : For the price, comparatively to other hotels in the area, at the same price, the Food, and service certainly didn't meet my expectations.

after reading reviews with rate of so-so in this site, the hotel exceeds our expectation. for us, it's just great. we love the forestry like surroundings, the calmness and facilities.
some things can be improved:
-swimming pool time can be longer instead of just 9am-6pm as we really love the pool.
-breakfast can be improved variety wise.
-lighting in bathroom can be brighter

Professional services, Considerate & very friendly.
Just that location far from city. Wait half to 1 hr for grab to other places.
recommend take their shuttle bus to city then take transport from there.
No housekeeping services though.

Loved the design, so different from others. Booked 2 pavilion villa for 4 of us, requested side by side rooms and we were able to get it. Nice meals with a variety of choices. Also the tour at the area behind was interesting. Varieties of plants and animals just like at the 'kampung'.

Nice theme and location but the hotel is not well maintain and cleanliness to be improved. 5 stars hotel but 2 stars service, guest need to carry the luggage themselves on buggy and also carry up to the room upstairs themselves; staircase and bathroom sink with stain. Room is dark and the most concern part is the phone line is not working, cannot imagine if anything happen in the room and not able to call for help at all.

Quiet retreat in quaint log chalets. The "welcoming drink" is really tasty!! Buggy service can be improved. And the toilets need upgrades - You have to press down really hard to flush!

Great for the ambience and a once in a lifetime experience of staying in a pine log resort in Malaysia. Perfect for couples but do ask for the top villa. Otherwise, it can get loud from people walking on top. And close to Malacca town. Haven’t had the chance to visit the spa and try the swimming pool. Condition of the resort can be improved as it’s needs to be updated with better facilities. Not suitable for elderly people who are fragile because it can get very slippery. Staffs are attentive and courteous.

Had a great stay at Philea Resorrt & Spa, Melaka during the Christmas weekend.
Room was clean, no musty smell, staff was friendly, managed to check-in at 2pm even though official check-in time was 3pm.
However, the breakfast was a bit lacking. Wish they had more options.
Other than that, everything was very pleasant.

The chalet build up with log was impressive, however few issues I would like to point out such as room got mouldy smell which I felt uneasy, the resort for me looked old & spooky and some area was like abandoned, (put more lights at the pathway) breakfast food quality is very poor as 5 star hotel rating and how come 5 star hotel check out time is 1 hour earlier as others hotel did yet we ask for late check out is not allowed although the hotel is not fullhouse , is not flexible at all . So far only the buggy assistant is professional although they're are foreign workers ..its such a nice hotel last time and hope the management will looked into it otherwise it will chase your guest away.

We assembled here for a team building exercise. Good ambience and serene. Spa and Karaoke are highlights here. The fish feeding was unique. There are some golf courses about 15 minute drive from here. Concierge was helpful in getting the reservations done.
