Ibis Melaka

The stay at ibis Melaka was great! Located near the nice eateries. Room was quite clean although can be improved on. Parking lots ample. Generally I enjoy my stay here with my family. Had a good time.

1. Located in the city, walking distance to Jonker area and all the sightseeing spots in Malaka.
2. Reception was friendly and efficient.
3. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Ac was cold and quiet. Slept well.
4. There was a big group of tourist during breakfast. But, i was able to get the food i need. Food was ok. No coffee machine, but we can order cappuccino with extra payment.

I stay one night with my family, and to be honest when i walk into lobby, it’s surprised me. (Reception a bit slow, only 2 person serve 9-10 people) but they served welcome drinks and there are a counter sell baverage.

Hotel room, it is beyond my expectations. Almost like a 5 stars hotel. Clean and everything new. Comfortable bed. And TV with many channels.

Swimming pool, my kids love it. Have a slide and big bucket splash. Is good for a family stay.

Location: it is walking distance to majority attractions such as Red house, Jonker walk.

Will definitely come back again.

The stay was a pleasant and relaxing for us. The fast and efficient check in was 5 stars experience. The room and toilet was clean. Your swimming pool was excellent. The only thing that bothers me was, you were promoting the whole watermelon drinks. During the hot day, we were disappointed tom know that the drink was not available. What's the point promoting it if you don't have it?

Beautiful hotel with modern vibes. Clean and comfortable room, bathroom and shower. Great amenities and wifi.
The food quality is excellent with fresh ingredients. Love the breakfast buffet and fair in prices. Cozy bar with nice menus. Good experience with superb service from the restaurant team.
Good wellness and leisure! Spacious and clean swimming pool.
Overall, the hotel is clean and very well maintained. Friendly maintenance guy in assisting us on using our room air conditioning. Perfect temperature!

Environment: Lot of parking places provided behind the hotel, excellent and convenient to travel within the heritage tourism area.

Service: wifi, iron, shower shampoo, safety box, TV with astro, Super cool air-con, etc. The staffs work fast and friendly.

Price: Quite affordable, I spend RM170 per night at the first day of local school holidays.

Food: There is a ibis Kitchen inside, but recommended to have the breakfast at the Little India/Heritage are for famous foods.

Great new hotel. Simple yet welcoming ambience. Carpet in the walkway to the room is comfortable, making you feel that you can run in high heels. Bed are comfortable and will make you overslept. They don't replenish the breakfast though, so you need to be early there (good luck resisting the comfort of their bed). No qiblat direction in the room, please install qiblat compass before coming.

Check in was efficient, clean big rooms, appears to be new and well kept. Great bathroom layout (big) and mattress was comfortable. Lack of amenities but had the basics. Open air car park and great location

- Super long queue (30mins) at breakfast buffet. Definately can be improved.
