I wana give 10 stars to Reception Ms.Janet and Uncle Wong. I booked a family room with jacuzzi. Kids enjoyed the jacuzzi very much. Room is good, spacious and clean. The water is warm enough both in jacuzzi and shower. Walking distance to tourist spots and Jonker Walk. Keep it up Janet and Uncle Wong 🥰🥰

Few things-:
1.Room have many ants, either on floor or table. It bites my baby when he crawling on the floor, and now it is red and swallow.
2.For check in, this is need to be exactly 3.00pm sharp check in, one min earlier also cannot. I am carrying baby who urgently need use washroom, but get rejected and I have to continue carry baby and wait until 3pm sharp, only the staff allow me for check in.
3.Call reception for extra towel, they request to give back the old towel, for what??? I am getting EXTRA towel, not change towel.
4.Their official website did not stated they have mini fridge, which I thought there is no fridge provided so I bring along my own small fridge and all the ice pack to store breast milk. This is wasted my effort for carrying so many unnecessary things. Please stated clearly on your website on your amenities

We saw this hotel highly recommend online. So we booked it. Its over overly rated! The rooms & Toilet had a garlic/cooking kitchen smell. Believed its from the ventilation. We called customer service for help. They gave us a air freshener. I guess this is not the first time they received such complains. There were ants on the bed and cupboard too. We booked 2 rooms. 2 rooms with the same problem. DO NOT BOOKED THIS HOTEL EVEN! with the price you paid. You can get a much better hotel! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

This hotel is not worth the price!!! The Jacuzzi is not functioning — it’s old and partly broken! You need to let the water run for at least 30 minutes before it gets hot. The air conditioner is super noisy. The only good thing is the location.
The room was not clean either. When we moved the sofa, we found lots of trash underneath — OMG! We had to call the cleaner to clean it up. What’s wrong with this hotel? It’s not cheap at all!
On the first night, the hot water wasn’t working. We asked the staff for help, but they simply turned on the tap, told us to wait longer, and walked away without fixing anything. We waited almost 45 minutes just to get hot water — unbelievable, especially for a room that costs over RM500 per night! I definitely didn’t expect this kind of service and hotel quality. Not recommended at all, especially if you’re booking it for the Jacuzzi!

The best hotel experience ever!
My husband and I truly didn’t want to leave - that’s how amazing our stay was. We will definitely come back for another vacation here. The place is super cozy, peaceful and just perfect for relaxing. Every single cent spent was worth it. Huge thanks to all staff for their excellent and satisfying service. You all made our stay even more special. The best part was breakfast, I really loved the nasi lemak with rendang, seriously the best I’ve had! I truly enjoyed every moment and Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Key highlight on the good location, which is within walking distance to Jonker Street. As a heritage hotel, it has the old theme, but functional. Room items are quite old and worn out. Overall, a pleasant stay.

I am very disappointed with my stay. The jacuzzi was broken and unusable. The room is very damp and Air conditioner was leaking. Feel really not worry the money.

1st time stayed at this hotel. Sterling Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Super convenient walk to Jonker street and city area. Recommended anyone want go to Jonker street can stay at this hotel as the walking distance is only 10minutes. Surely will go 2nd time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sterling Hotel. The best part is definitely the location — it’s just a short walk to the Red House and Jonker Street. This saved us so much time since we didn’t have to worry about finding parking around Jonker, which can be a real headache. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly, making the whole stay pleasant. If you’re planning to explore Melaka’s heritage area, this hotel is super convenient and makes everything easier.
